Beautiful open-floor plan riverfront home near Concrete, Washington in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Enjoy the serenity and wildlife, fish for trout or salmon right from the yard with the convenience of wifi and other modern amenities. You get the entire house minus the garage. We occupy the house during the winter and live in Anacortes the rest of the time.
The Skagit River House, built in '67, has survived the Skagit River floods due to the fact that it is perched on the banks of an inside curve of the river on the northern most point of Cape Horn in Concrete, Washington. The majority of the surrounding lots are recreational - they have power and water but are generally occasionally used with an RV in the summer. The vacancy of these lots combined with the state land across the river and the luscious vegetation give it a real sense of serenity on all sides.
