This is a very Spanish neighborhood, with food markets, butchers, coffee shops etc. all downstairs from your apartment. Within a few minute walk you will be in the touristic shopping area of Salamanca.
In early 2016, the apartment has been completely renovated and refurbished with the AirBNB customer in mind.

My husband Marc and I are a multinational couple living in Madrid for over 12 years. We met in Madrid and were married here and now have two kids, a labrador dog, and two cats. We have made Madrid our home and Spain has become our adopted country. Our kids grew up eating jamon and sardines and now dance flamenco! We know Madrid well and also understand how it can be to not speak Spanish -- so we will try and make your stay as unique, easy and enjoyable as possible. Madrid is a place to discover, enjoy, relax, have fun and soak in the amazing culture and people that exist here.
Marc and I share this account so you are likely to hear from both of us in communications. We are glad you chose to stay in our apartment.
