Wishingwell Farm is nestled 317m above sea level amongst the mountains surrounded by 40 acres of Australian native wildlife, flora, fauna and spectacular views. Enjoy the serenity, fresh air, peace and quiet and listen to nature at its best!
The Villa is set on the first top level and is separated by a door and stairwell. The relaxing self contained area consists of two separate rooms, one is the main bedroom with ensuite containing a Queen size bed and bedside tables. The second room has a single daybed with a small functional kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, sink and all cooking and eating utensils. A second toilet room is next to daybed. Both rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and designed to enhance the views and connect you with nature. There's an outside undercover verandah area for dining and entertaining the animals. Our visitors are encouraged to stroll around Wishingwell Farm and discover the secrets of nature or try tapping into your creativity by trying your hand at rock painting. There's an abundance of birdlife and each variety can be recognised by their beautiful birdsongs. Watch the kangaroos and wallabies feeding in the paddocks at dusk and dawn. Experience the wonder of the fireflies during mating season as they light up the night with their magical glow on a warm humid evening during summer months. Enjoy patting, talking and hand feeding all our miniature farm friendly animals and their babies. Visit the dragonflies and frogs by our dam and creek or take a 3km drive to Hanging Rock falls for a swim or meditation. There's so much more to explore in the Northern Rivers region, it's a great place to find yourself.

Visit the local wonders of World Heritage listed Border Ranges National Park, Mt Warning and Hanging Rock Waterfall. Visit the village of Nimbin only 19km east, it has become an icon of Australian cultural history and is known as the alternative lifestyle capital. This village has unique mural streetscape of indigenous, rainforest and psychedelic facades. Join the colourful local characters every Friday night as they perform Drumming in the main street. While in Nimbin I recommend eating at Trattoria Italian BYO restaurant, they serve the most delicious traditional Italian Pizzas.
Kyogle Commercial Hotel serve a $10 lunch time special and is an enjoyable 30 minute drive south.

We welcome all pets and also have agistment facilities for horses on arrangement. Pets must stay outside or on undercovered verandah enclosure and it's the responsibility of the owner to keep their pet under proper control at all times. We do prefer non smokers but definitely no smoking within 3 metre of any farm dwellings. Please leave guest rooms the way you found them, clean, neat and tidy. We appreciate visitors being mindful of the environment by recycling, composting, being aware of precious water usage and turning off lights, appliances and gas valves when not in use. Please report any breakages you may have so we can replace items for our next guests. Thank you.
My husband and I moved to the mountains 6 years ago to find peace, tranquillity and a sense of well-being. We started our dream hobby farm planting fruit trees and putting in a herb and veggie garden, an ongoing process. We enjoy our animals, the miniature ponies, goats, cows, chickens, peafowl and dogs, they keep us busy, but we love them all. A healthy lifestyle is very important to us so we take advantage of the many local organic produce markets, the mountain air and local bush walks. I have worked in the community care and health industry but I've taken time out to continue my study in Health Coaching with IIN. I enjoy company and love to meet and chat with guests but also respect their privacy as I do mine. We are surrounded by such a beautiful and majestic environment that we feel it's only fair to share it with others. Please stay and relax on our mountain and I promise you'll leave feeling revitalised.
