Relax and enjoy the Karamu Valley Lodge setting with hosts Paul and Heather Lloyd. The Lodge is situated on 6 acres of farmland with a small flock of sheep grazing in the paddocks and a meandering stream running through the property for you to enjoy as well as charming gardens with outdoor seating areas.

The Studio Apartment is self catering accommodation however, to get you started, we are pleased to provide a free welcome-pack which many find sufficient for their breakfast needs.
Therefore tariff does NOT include Meals
- Breakfast (Continental) additional $15 per head
- Dinner (3 Course) additional $50 per head
- Standard Rate is for 1 Single or 1 Couple, i.e. 1 Bed
- 2 Singles, i.e. 2 Beds, are charged Standard Rate plus additional person
If you have pre-ordered a served Karamu Valley Lodge breakfast, these are available at the following times:-
-Weekdays:7:30 to 9:00am
-Weekends:8:00 to 9:30am
We are happy to provide light packed lunches by pre-arrangement.
Dinner is available upon request; please discuss requirements with your hosts.
Guests are requested to check-in after 3:00pm or as pre-arranged
Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10:30am

Heather and Paul Lloyd wish our guests a very warm welcome to Karamu Valley Lodge.
Originally from the UK, Heather and Paul are now permanent New Zealand residents and citizens.
In his earlier years Paul was a very keen rock climber and mountaineer and has visited most climbing locations around the globe including two trips to the Himalayas. Paul now enjoys Karate and supporting Heather in her equine pursuits.
Heather has always had a passion for horses and is a keen advocate of natural horsemanship, which has been her guiding equine principle for many years.
