An elegant, comfortable and private room in a beautiful home backing onto bushland. Wake to the kookaburras, and relax to the sound of bell birds on the spacious deck all day long. Queen size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. Bush walking trails at the end of the street.
This is a warm, comfortable retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. My cats will welcome you - one will throw himself down on the ground hoping for a tummy rub, and the other will wait politely for you to sit down and invite her onto your lap.

Depending on the day I may or may not be around much but I will always make sure you have everything you need.
This is a quiet home; music is appreciated at reasonable levels. Guests are asked to leave the kitchen and shared spaces clean and tidy. No smoking in the house or anywhere on the property. No mail deliveries to my house of any description, and my address is not to be provided to anyone not staying. And please don't let the cats outside - I let them out on days when I am at home and can supervise their outdoor times safely.
I'm a relaxed fifty something cat lady (apparently) who enjoys creative pursuits including cooking, sewing, singing, and playing my guitar. I keep my home clean and tidy, relaxed and comfortable. I am well-travelled, speak a little French, have lived overseas (Chicago for 14 years, Harare for 3 years) and enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. Mostly I enjoy the peace and tranquility in my home amongst the trees, where I continue to create comfort and beauty for me and my guests.
I believe we are all here to contribute to the greater good. I strive to act and live in love rather than fear. And I believe in taking personal responsibility for our lives and outcomes rather than blaming others (parents, schools, boss, government etc) and then getting on with it. :-)
