Beautiful 1862 sea captains home, walk to town or maybe just relax and enjoy our large yard with a game of cornhole. Cook a steak on the grill or a lobster on the pit. Centrally located in the heart of Maine's Midcoast. From here you can visit Acadia National Park and the many quaint communities along the coast.
Quiet in town. Beautiful landscape. Your accomidations include, 3 bedrooms. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed and 1 full bath. Sleeps five. The home is tastefully decorated with period furnishings and local artwork. If you get up early enough you can watch the lobster fisherman leaving the beautiful Belfast Harbor. Seals are often in view from the docks. Ospreys and bald eagles often dine from the waters of the bay. Ten minutes from here nearby Sears Island is a great place to collect mussels and clams for dinner. Several nearby ponds and lakes are full of hungry bass, salmon and lake trout. Area streams are teaming with native Brook trout. Our fire pit outside is available for a clambake or lobster boil or just relaxing by an evening fire. Belfast has the new Harbor Walk that extends for a mile and a half along our beautiful harbor. There's also a new extension of the walk that goes for an additional two miles alongside the riverfront. There is a wonderful new dog park where your four pawed friends can run, play and meet new friends. So much to do, like us, you'll probably want to move here. This is truly the place where life is lived the way it should be.

We often have dinner with our guests on the deck, cooking lobsters over the fire pit or a steak on the grill. We moved here from the south and love hosting our guests.

Belfast has one of the most beautiful harbors in the entire state. During the summer many festivals are held and the local atmosphere is very busy with things to do, hiking, kayaking, fishing, dining or simply relaxing and enjoying the beauty of this place. Nearby you can collect mussels and clams. Maybe visit nearby Bayside community with it's beautiful homes nestled along the harbor. We also have a local Community radio station that broadcasts on F.M. 100.9, WBFY or you can stream (EMAIL HIDDEN) Stephanie and I have a show every Monday night from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. The name of the show is "Two's a crowd".
Just have fun.
Stephanie is an RN at the local hospital and I work as a Funeral director. Our kids have moved on and we're left here with this big old house. Built in 1862 by a local sea captain. The home is all original and tastefully decorated. Walk to town or the local harbor. Many shops and restaurants cater to whatever you desire. We moved here from Conyers, Georgia in 2006. The fishing in the local freshwater lakes is excellent. We have several local seafood places that offer excellent fare from lobster to mussels
