Welcome to Georgina Point Haven!
This tranquil location is close to Georgina Point, near the lighthouse, Reef Bay and Oyster Bay - all within a 10 minute walk. Campbell Bay and walking trails are nearby too!
We live upstairs so you will be welcomed upon arrival and have any questions answered promptly. Ferry pick up can be available if the local bus isn't running the day you arrive. Just confirm before booking.
The 1200 sq/ft space is located in a spacious, fully self contained suite in the walk out basement with a separate entrance. We live upstairs with our 2 children.
We have a large yard for playing outdoors or just relaxing. Being within walking distance to beaches and wildlife gives you ample time for relaxation but if you want more fun the village is about 2 kms away with great shops and restaurants.
Wake up to the deer feeding outside your window and the silence of island living. Birds chirping, squirrels munching and ferry horns in the distance are all pretty common sounds on our quiet little island. Georgina Point Lighthouse is the perfect place for a Oceanside picnic, a bottle of wine and the PERFECT sunset views. This is where you will see sea lions, eagles, otters and even orcas if you're lucky!
Truly a magical island that we hope you will enjoy and make lifetime memories on.

The whole space is separately contained from the upstairs with a private entrance. You will enter through the side door on the left side of the house.

We are on island most of the time and would love to guide you to the local attractions and tell you our favorites! You are free to ask questions and interact with us anytime. We are pretty hands off, respecting your space and time here but know that we are available if you ever need us.
Weitere wichtige Infos
As soon as you confirm your booking with us please book the ferry! It tends to fill up, especially in the summer and you don't want to miss your trip. Ferries can be reserved from Vancouver only.
We are a small island with limited water resources and disposal locations. We appreciate you washing all recycling out before disposing in the proper bins, watching your water usage while here, keeping in mind that spiders and other creatures are a part of the landscape on Mayne so not to be surprised if your paths cross and leaving the home in the same condition as you found it.
Please do not use the woodstove unless you are a seasoned fire starter or have asked us for a walk through first.
The cats listed live upstairs with us and decide to sometimes explore outside. They are very sweet and friendly. Sometimes they will come up to you if you are outside for some kitty snuggles so feel free to ignore them or shut the door if you aren't a cat person.
We have 2 children so you may hear playing during the day. As we do live upstairs occasional noise might be heard such as water running, toilets flushing and footsteps. We find it pretty sound proof for the most part but just to keep in mind if you are looking for a totally silent retreat.
When requesting to stay please send a little note about yourself, why you want to visit Mayne and any other information to help us to get to know you a little better.

My name is Holly! My husband Paul and our 2 kids moved to this beautiful island after I fell head over heals back when I was a child and visited my grandparents at their cabin here.
I love following my passions, sitting by the ocean and spending time with my family and friends.
I have always had amazing stays through Airbnb and we knew when we were planning our own that this is the way we would go.
