Guests will have use of the whole house - we do not let the house room by room - your group will be renting the entire property. Usually we only accept bookings from groups that will take advantage of all the space on offer. However, out of season and at short notice we do sometimes rent to much smaller groups - it's always worth asking me and maybe even make me an offer! We will make up whichever bedrooms you have asked for and you will also have use of all the ground floor rooms.; kitchen, dining hall, library and drawing room. There is a laundry room in the cellar for guests use. The large gardens and private pool are all at your disposal. Enjoy our wisteria covered balcony and large terrace with plenty of tables and chairs and wonderful views. There is parking for three cars outside our gates in the Chateau courtyard and further parking in the village.

Larger groups must please note that our home is in a small village and we would request our guests to respect our neighbours. Please keep the noise down after 10 pm and maybe go indoors after this time if there is a big group of you. It is the law in France that no noise should be made outside after 10 pm and when we stay at the house we make sure we honour this to protect our neighbours. We really don't want the gendarmerie to be called!!
Also please park facing into the curb outside the Chateau's big red gates and do not park further along in front of the other homes in the Chateau courtyard. There is further parking in the village if you have more than three cars with you.
I live and work in Aldeburgh, UK but I own a wonderful second home in Ventenac en Minervois in France. When I'm unable to be in Ventenac I like to share the house with others. I am quite new to Airbnb but have been renting the house out fduring summer periods for over 10 yrs - so I am an experienced host. My fabulous Caretakers Mark and Julie will get the house ready for you if you choose to stay with us and I will be available by phone at any time if there any problems.
My partner, Philip, and I love to travel. Last summer we stayed at a great Airbnb place on a trip to New Orleans and last Christmas we stayed at an Airbnb place in the Scottish Borders which worked really well for a visit to family nearby. This summer we will be using Airbnb places for two weekends away in Winchester and Norfolk. So we have seen both sides of the Airbnb process as hosts and as guests.
