This was a very interesting experience for a first time Airbnb.
We had some issues on arrival - although we let our hosts know we would arrive late at night, we were left in the rain outside for 30 minutes whilst trying to get some answer from the door and our hosts over the phone - not the best welcome.
After settling in, the host was very nice and showed us around the place, as well as making us some food. There were lots of towels and beds for all of us. We also awoke to breakfast which our host had put out for us, a nice touch.
Advertising the apartment as an Oktoberfest apartment is somewhat misleading - the house was very nice but a little far out for us, it's about 60km away from Munich city center, so it's worth checking the exact location beforehand - you really need a car to get to places as the closest train station is about a 10-15 minutes drive and there is no easy route to Munich without a car.
Overall it was mixed bag - nice hosts and a nice place, but not great transport links and an unorganized welcome.
