A country home with great views, close to the family-friendly activities, restaurants, parks, hiking, and history of Baraboo (Circus World!), Devils Lake, Cascade and Devils Head ski areas, and the Wisconsin Dells (Water Parks)! You’ll love our place because of the comfy queen bed in the private loft w/deck, the high ceilings, the views, and the cabin-in-the-woods feel. A pull-out sofa bed (full-size) will sleep kids ok. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, and business travelers.
No cable or satellite tv. There is a TV with a DVD player in your room with a selection of family-friendly movies. There is also a small frig in the room. Coffee and light breakfast available in the morning.

Weitere wichtige Infos
There are four 4-legged residents in the house! A small terrier mix, a german shepherd, and two cats. Don't worry, they won't be in your room. The cats live mostly in the basement but they explore a little at night. The shepherd is young and energetic and has a big bark.
- This is an upstairs loft, so you must be able to get up and down stairs. There is no gate, therefore no mobile children under 2 years old please.
Welcome! We’re really not “rules” people. But we’ve found that things do work better when there are a few guidelines, understood by all. So if you have any questions, about the content here or anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask!
We like to ensure everyone has their own space. We kindly ask guests to refrain from entering the hallway (past the kitchen) on the main level. We’ll ensure your space is likewise respected in return. However if you’re here for an extended stay we may need to check towels/trash, etc. in your room.
The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanitary napkins in the trash receptacle we’ve provided in the bathroom. We are on septic, which means what happens here stays here, literally, in some form. We simply want to ensure you have a royal flush kind of holiday :)
Everybody loves a good party, and the good folks of Baraboo are no exception. Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.
Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. We may be able to accommodate earlier check-in or later check-out, but please check with us first. Check?
Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
Being a family home, we also have a no smoking policy (although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back).
What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.
To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and overhead fans when not in use or when leaving the house. Mother Nature thanks you too.
Please close the balcony door securely before leaving the room unattended.
We kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9pm. And if you want to listen to music, please enjoy via headphones or in your personal space. We’ll make sure to reciprocate the favor.
We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. We have this in place instead of an additional guest charge in an attempt to keep costs down for you.
We reserve the right to deny allowing pets to be brought into the home.
To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, we like to keep the front door locked as a precautionary measure when we leave the house. Whilst being one of the safest areas of town, we want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, and this is just one small + simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that.
