While the property does have a new portable air conditioning unit (visible in the listing photos), which can be taken into any room and pedestal fans for each bedroom, there is no central air conditioning throughout the apartment (the split system wall unit on the top level is not operational).

The double bed is located on the top level, which can sometimes get pretty warm in summer depending on the weather. There is a ceiling fan in the room and as mentioned, the portable air conditioner can be used anywhere, but it's just something to consider if you will need more than the 3 queen size beds in the bedrooms.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no flyscreens on the bedroom windows so may be unsuitable for children without adult supervision.

Nick's place is an excellent place to stay! Nick was a wonderful host who was able to answer any questions. The place is in an excellent location with easy access to trams. The apartment was clean and was easy to feel at home. Would definitely stay again if we needed to.

Amazing 4 story apartment. The last floor is a bedroom cum living room. Everything is provided n nothing is lacking. The place is huge n good for big families. The plus point is that it is within walkable distance to South Melbourne market that is non touristy.

Four levels of stairs and they are a long way to the top. But good exercise. Nick was awesome. No complaints. Great location. Central for south Melb. Markets and lakeside stadium. Great coffee on corner only 50m. Pub directly over road. No noise. Off street parking was simple. Quiet road. Value for money.

Clean, comfortable and in an ideal location close to the city, bays, markets, cafes & shopping. If aged, not so fit etc. you would definitely need to take the stairs into consideration, but in saying that, it all led to magnificent city views!!! Would highly recommend this property, we loved our stay in South Melbourne !!!
