If you're coming during warm weather, don't forget your swimsuit! Natural Dam is just down the road along with other "swimming holes" only the locals know about!

I love living a balanced life....that's the goal anyway :)

What 5 things can I not live without?
1) Music ...especially Enya and Loreena McKennitt, oh, and Peter Hollens
2) Trees! All the trees!!!
3) Learning new things, acquiring new knowledge
4) The ability to organize and solve problems
5) WoW and ESO. if you don't know what those are, you probably wouldn't understand anyway, just know that I maybe love them a little too much :)
Favorite foreign place I've lived/traveled: Germany. I lived there for three years
Favorite Movie/TV genre: Fantasy; although, if they can keep me guessing (and most don't) I do love a good psycho-drama like Flightplan.
Favorite video streaming: Gaia. Netflix is a close second
Favorite music streaming: Spotify
Favorite book: seriously, I can't pick just one.
Favorite Food: see above, I am mostly vegan, but I'm one of those that doesn't judge others. I have close friends who still tease me about eating bacon wrapped brats at one of our famous cookouts! I'd be a better vegan if bacon didn't taste so good. I pick my "self-battles" and I keep a vegan kitchen at home and have been cooking since I was 5 years old, so I make a number of tasty breakfasts that pass muster with a lot of my omnivore friends and acquaintances who are astonished to find out that their breakfast was completely meat and dairy free. Since I have an allergy to wheat, I also keep a gluten-free "friendly" kitchen as well. It's just easier that way. My kitchen is mostly organic also.
My husband and I LOVE our three adult children, but now we also LOVE being empty nesters!!!
