Charming bungalow located in the heart of the historic Plaza District. A minute walk to restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and Lyric Theatre. Should you want to venture into the city, you are just minutes away from Midtown, downtown, Paseo District and other great historic areas. You will fall in love with this amazing community I call home. Bohemian style home that has all the amenities. Book your stay today!!

Der Wohnraum

Built in the 1920's, this house has some character. It has a living room, sitting area, dining room that opens to living room, kitchen and private bedroom. Being that this is an older home, there is only one bathroom that we share. It's a little small due to the HUGE cast iron tub. There is a small backyard that is private, should you have an animal. Also, there is a doggie door for fur babies.

Zugang für Gäste

You will have access to the entire space, except for the closet. There are hanging rods in the bedroom that you are more than welcome to use.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook. You may want to bring groceries, as I am sometimes like a bachelor and have little food. It has a microwave, coffee pot (I always have coffee), stove and basic kitchen stuff.

Interaktion mit Gästen

Welcome to OKC & the Plaza District! Located a block away from the historic Plaza District that holds the charm from the 1920's. I would love to show you around my neighborhood and Plaza to give you an idea of why I LOVE where I live. We can walk down to the boutiques to check out DNA Galleries or the famous Bad Granny's, go sit on a patio at my favorite pub, go grab a bite at one of the restaurants, go look at the local art at one of the many galleries in the Plaza or get a tattoo. Take a stroll the Plaza Wall alley to see the bright, colorful murals from local artists. Grab a coffee, sit on a bench and take a rest. The Plaza is a strong community that supports one another and wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the city.

Weitere wichtige Infos

What is there to do in OKC, you ask? Here are a few things that are a must see and do…

OKC Memorial Museum & Outdoor Symbolic Memorial
The Memorial Museum is an interactive learning experience that occupies the west end of the former Journal Record Building. Built in 1923, this building withstood the April 19, 1995, bombing. As the second component mandated by the Memorial’s mission statement, the state-of-the-art Memorial Museum takes the visitor on a self-guided tour through the story of those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building and the response in its aftermath. The Museum uses 35 interactives as well as hundreds of hours of video and artifacts to show visitors each personal detail.

The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is a place of quiet reflection. Designed by Butzer Design Partnership, this Memorial honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were changed forever on April 19, 1995. It encompasses the now-sacred soil where the Murrah Building once stood, as well as the surrounding area devastated during the attack.

Megan was such a great host and friend. Her ospitality is over any expectation, she waited for us with a dinner, welcoming us as friends, we spent the evening together. Her house is cozy and very clean. We slept so well and it was so quiet around. We could use the kitchen in the morning to cook our breakfast with eggs, bread and coffee she left for us. All this for a very fair price. We absolutely reccomment a stay with her, we had to leave Oklahoma City due to travel necessity but we would have loved to remain just for Megs! We wish you plenty of success with airbnb!

Super charming and dog-friendly place! Meg was a great host. Particularly, I loved that I was able to take my pup Sammy. Traveling with a large breed is tough sometimes. I was able to take him to her house but the whole neighborhood around there is super dog-friendly. Lots of shops, restaurants, and nightlife just within walking distance, a lot with outdoor patios to take your fur babies if you choose. All in all, I had a blast. :) Stay here on your next trip to the OKC. :)
