This wonderful 1960’s cottage at Lake Wentworth on Fernald’s Basin only two miles from downtown Wolfeboro is a perfect family getaway or temporary housing for a job assignment. This cottage is one of the few remaining pieces of the historic Alan A Albee resort, a popular dude ranch from the early to mid 1900s.

Nice house, great location. Make sure you walk the 2 miles down the rail trail into town, it was a great walk with great views.

Kim's place is great for a quiet weekend away with some friends or family. The area is beautiful and the lake side view is amazing for relaxing after a long day!

We loved this cute cottage situated right on the water, and the two boats that were there. Working vinyl record player from the 60-s and a collection of records was awesome! It is very close to the rail trail that can be used for biking and walking, and the downtown is 5 min by car or 15 (at most) by bike.

The cabin is awesome! It is secluded, but still a short drive to a pizza/sub shop and local grocery store (less than 10 minutes). The fire pit is lovely and the lake is amazing. There are some decent size late mouth bass in there too.

This was a nice camp get away, the cottage is right on the water with an easy walk to the beach. We felt like we were in a different decade- no TV, internet,or cable- but an old record player with lots of old albums. Kimberly was very helpful and great with communication. The camp/cottage was not fancy, but had everything we needed.

Whoever wrote 'meh' just doesn't get what a New England camp on the lake is supposed to be. The location was great as even though it was close to a main road, it still felt secluded and quiet at night with lots of privacy, but you could run out quick for takeout or a bottle of wine too. It had all the essentials (plenty of extra blankets and towels) and I loved the lack of phone and Internet and wifi; sometimes you need to unplug. The lake is bordered by a pretty path and because of the location there aren't boats whizzing by like other parts of the of lake. There was even a pedal boat which despite losing a cell phone in lake in process was awesome. Kim was great about communicating when the previous tenants were not leaving at the scheduled time and did everything she could to make it right. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!
