Living room couch in a nice quiet apartment in a quiet neighborhood. On the Red Line with direct train to Harvard, MIT, MGH, etc.
The couch is self-service: you must put on your own sheets and pillows at night, you must move them out of the way during the day, and put them in the hamper when you go.
There are three rented rooms, and you share a bathroom with occupants of two of them. Expect no privacy whatsoever.
Staying on my couch will be great for solo adventurers.
It's a very nice apartment in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood. You will share it with other travelers also visiting Harvard, MIT, MGH, etc.
Zugang für Gäste
You can access common areas: living room (where you sleep), office (to read or write), kitchen, and bathroom.
Guests can self checkin and checkout at any time: each room has its own numeric access code, that also opens the apartment, but not other rooms. The couch access code only accesses common areas and no room.
Be warned that the apartment is on the second floor. There is no elevator, and there are 22 steps of stairway.
Rooms are rented from noon to noon. If you arrive early or depart late, you may leave your luggage in the office — not in the room.
Interaktion mit Gästen
I live in NYC, we won't interact directly. I have a complete guide to help you, I have helpers in Cambridge who clean the house, and I will try to dispatch help if there's an emergency; but I am not usually available to assist you during your stay.
There will be other guests. Be nice to them.
It is your responsibility to keep the living room tidy and available to everyone in the house while you're not sleeping in it.

Did I mention that you should READ THE GUIDE? If I didn't, please note that you should definitely READ THE GUIDE.
VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE GUIDE!
It will answer all your questions, and more.
IF YOU FAIL TO READ THE GUIDE, I WILL CHARGE YOU $50 EXTRA.

I'm an intellectual and I enjoy a wide range of discussions.
As far as housekeeping goes, I'm fairly lax. As long as you follow basic rules of hygiene and good behavior, be happy the way you are.
PS: if you're in Boston and have time, don't miss the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum.
