Mount Joy is a historic manor originally built in 1804 by a Revolutionary War Veteran, burned by the Union in 1864 and rebuilt on the original foundation in 1906. We are on the Civil War Trail with a sign. The house is set on a majestic hill with views of the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains and Looney's Creek just outside of the quaint village of Buchanan. The guest bedroom is large (17'x15') with a gas log fireplace. The guest bath has a deep Jacuzzi tub and a separate tiled shower.
