Converted into condos in 2017, this hundred-year-old warehouse boasts soaring 11ft (3.3m) wood ceilings and exposed brick walls.

Enjoy 525 ft² (48 m²) of living space, en suite laundry, a well equipped kitchen, access to the building's private gym (24/7), billiard lounge, as well as a rooftop patio.

PARKING

Street rates are as follows: from Monday to Sunday, free from 5:50 pm to 8:00 am. Saturdays is 2hrs complimentary, and Sundays are free. Meter rates are between $1-2 / hour.

For long-term guests, the most economical solution might be a monthly pass, which is about $200 depending on the location. There are many parking lots in the immediate proximity of Le Loft 139. Check out the websites of the following companies for more details: Winnipeg Parking Authority, Imperial Parking, Urban Autopark or Parking Plus.

SUPERMARKETS

NOTICE : there are no large supermarkets in the Exchange District. Family Foods at 120 Donald Street is 22 minutes on foot from Le Loft 139, is open 7 days a week, is a medium-sized supermarket with a meat shop, deli, a good selection of dry goods and fresh fruit and vegetables.

A larger supermarket is a bit farther afield: open 7 days a week, Safeway, in Osborne Village, is about 40 minutes on foot from Le Loft 139, and has an extensive meat shop, fresh seafood, flower shop, pharmacy, hot and cold prepared meals, Tim Horton's, etc.

Many exchange residents have their groceries delivered using online services such as Save On Foods.

Stephan went above and beyond to make my stay successful. The place is gorgeous as described, and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. A++++

Amazing stay, the loft is modern and super comfy. Though had only a few shops within a walking distance, Its was sure an easy to and from location by public transport. All in all, I don't think you can ever get a better experience. Stephan was just there for any help or anything you might need within the loft and even advice and tips for things around the city that sure made my stay a tons better. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again and again !

My mother and I had a wonderful experience at Stephan and Christian's condo. While the condo is cozy, the high ceilings and large window make it appear much larger. It was impeccably clean, and had all the amenities we needed (as we did do quite a bit of cooking). Stephan and Christian prepared printouts with nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and various other instructions. They also gave us a tour of the complex and patiently answered all our questions. The bottle of white wine chilling in the fridge was a nice touch. We liked that it was within such close walking distance to the river walk. Never felt unsafe in the area. We were extremely pleased with the place and the experience, and would definitely stay here again should we visit Winnipeg!

Photos are "right on". Place is secure and sized right for 1-2 people. Getting to anywhere in downtown area is walking distance. Has several good restaurants and " pubs" in area as well as coffeehouse. However, no food shops and paid parking areas, although right next to building, I thought they were expensive. Hosts are willing to give you help.

Terre-à-terre, proches de nos familles, on apprécie tout particulièrement prendre un verre en compagnie de bons amis.


Quelques destinations ou voyages mémorables: le parc national Kruger et une bonne partie du reste de l'Afrique du Sud en self-drive; un voyage en cargo du Pirée (Grèce) jusqu'à Tanjung Pelepas (Malaisie) en passant par le canal de Suez, Jeddah (Arabie saoudite) et Colombo (Sri Lanka); Naples - une de nos villes préférées; et la Jordanie en self-drive avec, comme cerise sur le sundae, une visite de la ville ancienne de Petra.


We're a same-sex couple originally from Winnipeg, Canada. We've been together for over nearly 25 years and have lived in Switzerland, Spain and Canada. While we enjoy cooking when we are at home, we love going out to restaurants when we are on the road, trying new dishes and seeing how other people live and see the world. Down-to-earth and close to our families, we appreciate simple evenings sharing a good glass of wine with friends both new and old.

A few memorable trips: a self-drive safari in Kruger National Park (South Africa), sleeping under a star-filled sky in the Wadi Rum, Jordon, and a trip on the Hatsu Courage (a container ship) from Piraeus (Greece) to Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia). And, of course, Naples - one of our all-time favourite destinations. While in Switzerland, we had the opportunity to travel to many European, North African and Middle Eastern destinations.
