Dear Maggie, thanks for your review i do not know what were your expectations about my house. About breakfast, on your check in you ordered things you liked and we decided to give you the chance to choose what you wanted but it seems was wrong!!!
My house is in the middle of the village that's true, and it is written that we are in the middle of fishermen's village-VILAGE ROAD that means there is life going on, sorry!
It is normal and important when planning traveling to a foreign country you must know where are you going and which are rules and laws of the country you are going. So if you are asking me about shells and rest of died living things which you are allowed to take with you to your country it is not up to me to tell you exactly which ones, but i told you according to my experiences. So another time please take care and use your time to get all important informations. I am living in Tanzania and Switzerland since 5 years so how can you say i am not familiar to the place,remember i am a Tanzanian was born in Tanzania and made part of my education in Zanzibar, so i know Zanzibar well since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) but i am not updated with all laws and rules about fish and shells.
About communication what do you mean? was not reachable before you came or? The time you were at my house i was not feeling like welcomed to make any conversations with you as all of you were so serious and putting yourself like so busy or very important people,so i respected that!
About breakfast:Greasy eggs?!!!! all frying pan eggs we used oil i do not know how you make at your home, remember our kitchen is local Zanzibar - Swahili kitchen.
Old fruits? So why you have eaten if they were old without complaining, i know i bought fruits by myself so how comes you say they were old?
Old breads? also no complains on spot waiting until reviewing at Airbnb surprising!
Othman was serving breakfast for you, have ever told him about all your unhappiness about what he was serving? Sorry i was sometimes at there, i never got any complaining from you or via my staff, you have my (Hidden by Airbnb) number, i told you can contact me if you need something, on the 23rd August i sent you a message to ask you if everything is ok and you replied,''Yes all good is just came from Safari blue'' then i replied you,''Hope you enjoyed it'' you never replied again and never contacted me again until the day before your check out when i met you at the house, so why didn't you tell me you were unhappy instead of writing here which is too late or what is your expectations then? to kill my business or what? On your check out i was there, you never complained about anything but you were like happy and say good bye like everything was good and enjoyed the time. Sorry but you are unbelievable guests i never had before.
Thank you anyways we will use your review to upgrade our Zanzibar-Swahili kitchen.
