There's just so much good to share about Federico's gorgeous flat.
First, I'm quite demanding when it comes to comfort, quality, beauty, and ease when traveling for long periods of time, and Federico's place exceeded my expectations on every level.
I rented his flat for about seven weeks.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the space within the flat was more than enough for one person and perfect for two people.
All you could need to live with ease inside was available with a fully stocked kitchen and even an espresso machine and dishwasher. All appliances were top-of-the-line by the way.
Even the sofa bed, which a friend used for a couple nights, was comfortable.
The air conditioning was powerful and incredibly useful during the hot summer weeks.
There's an elevator in the building if you need it, though walking up to the second floor was easy.
I had weekly housekeeping which really helped keep things in order for my liking.
The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was incredibly important for me as I worked from the flat almost every day.
The only 'con' if you want to call it that, is that the wall is very thin in the living room, so if you're loud or having sex in the living room you have to keep the noise down. :-)
The metro stop is a five minute walk away, as well as grocery stores, cleaners, cafés, ATMs, plenty of restaurants, fashion shopping, and pretty much anything you need.
The Duomo is five metro stops away, and the main central train station is two metro stops away.
If you like to be in less touristy areas like I do, while still not being too far from the touristy areas, you'll like this location.
And on top of all of this, Federico was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions or requests that I had. The perfect Airbnb host, and I've had many.
If your discerning and require beauty, comfort, and ease when traveling for long periods of time, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this place. Good luck!
