This two-story, 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home has been thoughtfully updated and is fully stocked/ready for your vacation! The spacious floor plan is great for entertaining guests and features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, large deck, comfortable queen-sized beds, and three full bathrooms.

Located one block (few minutes walk) from the swimming pool (w/ lifeguards on duty), picnic area, play area (bocce ball, ping pong, etc.) and tennis courts. The gated private beach area and pier is approx. 10 minute walk from the house. There is ample parking at each of the recreation facilities.

We are conveniently located near restaurants and shopping (~ 2.5 miles from downtown Tahoe City). Approx 20 minutes drive to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood resorts (~10 mi). Less than 30 minutes drive other major ski resorts including Northstar (~14 mi) and Diamond Peak (~15 mi).

The cabin has a lockbox so we won't need to meet to let you in.

We won't see you during your stay as we live in the Bay Area, but we can be reached via email, text, and phone. Additionally, our caretaker lives 10 minutes away and is available in case of emergencies.

Dollar Point is a quiet North Lake Tahoe neighborhood with lovely amenities including a gated private beach area, pier, picnic area w/ volleyball nets, tennis courts, and swimming pool. Close proximity to recreational activities such as boating, hiking, biking, tennis, golf, skiing, shopping, and restaurants.

Dollar Point to Tahoe City
This 2 1/2 mile section of paved multi-use bike trail is mostly flat and provides access to Burton Creek State Park, Skylandia Park, Lake Forest Beach, Pomin Park, and Tahoe State Park. The trail connects to the 4 mile Truckee River Trail and Squaw Valley. Mountain bike trails are accessed over residential streets. TART service.

NOISE/SMOKING - Please keep noise to a minimum and be courteous to our neighbors. Smoking is not allowed in the cabin under any circumstances. - This is a forested area and the risk of fire danger is very high. If any evidence of smoking is found in or around the cabin, guests will forfeit the $500 security deposit.


NO PETS - We are pet lovers, but they are absolutely not allowed at this property. A $500 cleaning fee will charged against the security deposit if evidence has been found that a pet stayed in the cabin.


GUESTS - This cabin can accommodate a maximum of ten people. Additional guests may not stay overnight in the property. If evidence is found that more than the agreed upon number of guests stayed in the cabin, there will be a $100/person charge against the security deposit. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.


PARKING - The City of North Lake Tahoe strictly limits 4 vehicles to be parked at this rental property. There is no external garage access, so vehicles will be parked in the driveway. There is enough room for 4 vehicles.


Warning: DO NOT PARK INTO THE STREET OR ON THE STREET. City of North Lake Tahoe snow removal equipment will be clearing the streets during and after snow storms, and will tow your cars as well as fine you if they are in the street or extending out of the driveway into the street.
SKI/SNOWBOARD/SNOW EQUIPMENT must be stored in the entry.


REMOVE SHOES/BOOTS when entering the cabin This helps keep the floors and carpets clean and comfortable for you and future guests.


HEATER - Heating controls can be adjusted to desired temperature by adjusting the thermostats located throughout the cabin: (1) upstairs hallway, (2)master bedroom and (3) downstairs bedroom. The cabin uses hydronic heating, which is great for environment but it also takes a while to reach your desired temperature. PLEASE ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT(S) TO 55 DEGREES BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE.


DISHES, UTENSILS, COOKWARE AND APPLIANCES - Please wash all dishes, cookware, and appliances, and return them to their proper places. It is ok to start a load in the dishwasher before your departure.


KITCHEN - Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but hand wash pots, pans, cutting boards, and knives. Also, please use the cutting boards, not the countertops, for slicing and dicing. If you do cook, please remember to turn on the exhaust fan in the hood.


PERISHABLE FOOD - Please remove any perishable food you bring with you prior to departure. We are in bear country and there have been instances of bear break in’s due to food being left out.


BBQ GRILL – There is a 5-burner gas grill located on the deck. We ask that once you are finished cooking, please allow all food particles to burn off before cleaning the grill.


BATHROOM - toiletries are provided for your convenience. Please do not leave the water running for too long in the sink. There are no overflow holes in the bathroom sinks and they can clog up. If the sink starts to clog, continue running the water until gravity takes over and the sink starts draining.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ANY PAPER PRODUCTS (NO FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS) OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER OR TISSUE INTO THE TOILET.


TOWELS AND LINENS: Fresh linens are already on the bed and clean towels in the bathroom.


Please do not bring any towels or bedding for use at the beach or picnicking.
Reminder: DO NOT PLACE WET TOWELS ON THE BEDS


GARBAGE - Before you check out, remove all kitchen garbage and place in the bear box at the end of the driveway.


RECYCLABLES should be placed inside a blue recycling bag, which are available for use under the kitchen sink. Be sure to securely tie each blue bag with a twist tie before placing it outside in the garbage shed.


INTERNET – The cable modem/wireless router is located to the left of the TV.

PHONE AND CABLE TV - You may use the phone to make local calls. The remote controls for the cable TV and DVD player are located on top of the fireplace mantle. The TV is also equipped with chromecast.

Accidents do happen; please let me know if something is damaged or broken. My cleaners check everything regularly, but I would rather hear it from you first so that we can work together to figure things out.

My 8 person(and 1 small child) party had an amazing New Years weekend at C.S.'s home! It was the perfect size for all of us. Each bedroom is very spacious and the common area is open and inviting. This North Lake Tahoe home is in the perfect location. Just minutes from Tahoe City and a short commute to either Truckee or the Nevada border. This home has all the comfort of your own home transported to the beautiful Lake Tahoe. As for the host, I would communicate with C.S. via email. He would respond quickly and with all my questions answered clearly. If you are looking for a less tourist packed area to spend a vacation, I would highly recommend C.S.'s home. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely looking to stay at this location again!

Very cozy, might be a little creepy at night but overall makes you feel like you get what you pay for. To be in a lodge.
