ATTACHED PRIVATE back suite with private room, bathroom, living room and kitchenette with all the basic luxuries you could need. Separate entrance in through back yard, washer dryer. Relax indoors in the natural light filled room or drink wine on the lighted porch. Easy car access to downtown and highway!
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION before making a reservation. I would love to host you but also want everyone to be well informed. I advise looking up what activities you plan on doing in Denver and then seeing if my location fits your needs/proximity. Also, please know that this suite is a back attachment to the front part of the house which is where I live. Unit is separated by a locked door which I will not use during the course of your stay. I have two dogs who use the backyard as well. Thank you for reading.
Step back in time and enjoy a few days, a week…maybe even a month in this eclectically decorated with mid century style private attached unit in back of house. Sit back and relax on the lush new navy blue West Elm velvet sofa or the black leather of the Selig, Eames style recliner while you enjoy the sunlight filled room. Area equipped with kitchenette and all needed appliances and gadgets: small refrigerator, microwave, oven, hot plate for pans (there isn't an actual stove),…you name it! (NOT A FULL KITCHEN) Enjoy a cup of freshly pressed or Chemex coffee with water brought to a quick boil with a Breville water heater. Plants adorn the entire unit to keep you company and keep the air fresh. Separate and private entry through the backyard with easy street or off street parking as options, you never have to circle the block. Unit is approximately 550sq ft.
Dirty clothes from all your socializing or adventuring? Washer and dryer conveniently located in the unit.
Staying in for the night? Enjoy your pick from a number of games (Monopoly, Life, Uno, Phase 10 to name a few) or bring some meat back to grill. Lawn games are also available by request (Croquette, Boche Ball, Badminton).
Enjoy the softness of large cotton towels and cozy sheets of the Queen sized bed. On those cold Colorado days in winter, there is also a heat blanket available to warm your bones. Energy efficient window swamp cooler also for use on hot summer days to quickly cool the space.
We are a cable-free environment but a DVD player is available for all your Red Boxing needs. Two red box stands are conveniently located a minute drive or a 10 minute walk away. Pick up a McFlurry or French fries on your way back home. There is also free WiFi available.

During the weekends, I'd love to be available for whatever recommendations or company you might need. Weekdays are busier and would be harder to arrange. Otherwise, feel free to remain as private as you like. I will try to check in with you via text to make sure your stay is going well. Note that I will most likely not be present during your check in and a lock box will be provided for your flexibility.
I have two large dogs who are often playing in the back yard who may come up to you. One is a puppy and still learning, so try and be gracious with him.

NO SMOKING please. I know Colorado is 420 friendly, but kindly refrain from any smoking on the property (tobacco, marijuana and any other drugs) indoors or outdoors. This policy is strict and should any smoking be detected on the property this can jeopardize your reservation.
No parties or large gatherings.
Please turn off lights and heater (or on lowest setting) when you are not home and after your stay.
And while this may seem obvious, please lock door and windows prior to your departure. And then place key back in the lock box.
If anything is damaged, or if additional cleaning is needed please let me know. I'm more lenient and understanding if I don't find damages on my own and if guests are honest.
Please always try to park in front of my house (on my side of the street) unless it's a street sweeping day. The neighbors can be particular about parking in front of their house and this avoids conflict. Thank you.
Lastly, max number of guests is 2. If anything changes with the number of guests (e.g. Booked 1 but end up having 2), I would appreciate advance notice. While 3 is sometimes permitted know that it might be a little crowded and an additional charge of $10/night will be added.
Overstaying past the check out time may result in a $10 or more fee should the cleaning lady need to wait for you and the length of time she is required to wait. If you are hoping to check in early, this may also come at an additional cost to compensate my cleaning lady for moving or cleaning around any luggage. I hope you understand as we want it to be a courtesy to you but I would like to respect her cleaning as well. I have same day reservations so it can often be difficult to guarantee and/or change the check in/out times. The sooner you are able to inform me of your check in/out time requests the more likely I can accommodate. We will not be able to accommodate last minute/day before requests out of respect for my cleaning gal's schedule.
Thank you in advance for following these rules! And enjoy your stay!!!
I'm an energetic person, always looking for new and exciting things to do. I love people and want to learn about and experience more of the world by traveling and listening to others' stories. I'm an occupational therapist and I am passionate about working with children and cute older adults. Other hobbies include participating in anything musical, doing yoga, frolicking in the mountains, laying underneath large trees, spending time with friends and family, and cuddling up to my fuzzy golden doodle (Wenceslaus) and wired haired griffon puppy. I also like to get lost in a good novel.
