The rental is in a great location. Right next to a trail on the Skagit River. Has everything you need for your stay and is roomy. The king size bed is very comfortable and warm. Very nice quiet place.

karen's place is an old trailer that is rundown and has only 2 windows with torn, dirty screens for air to flow through. It was very hot both outside and inside the trailer. Location is close to park and river. Her trailer is not a very nice place for a vacation but maybe ok as a fishing cabin?

Excellent location, and Karen was a great host. She had everything ready, house rules on the fridge, and plenty of suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Because it's a mobile home, the bathroom didn't have a fan and the shower was a bit short, but nothing we couldn't handle. We'd definitely stay again if we hike Cascades in the future

We had an awesome time at Karen's! Her listing is exactly as pictured and described. So convenient to the trails, one is literally just outside the back of the property. This is my second trip to Karen's; it is quickly becoming my favorite Chill Spot-I look forward to more trips to Rockport!

I enjoy nature and live in the most beautiful place on earth and wish to share it with travelers. The guest spaces are nestled in the foothills of the North Cascade Mountains, next to the lovely wild and scenic Skagit and Sauk Rivers which host all 5 species of salmon. Come and view the Eagles in winter or white water rafting in summer. There is so much to do and see, with over 500 glaciers and alpine lakes to explore discover a new you. Please let me know how I can help you to enjoy your stay in the North Country of the USA also known as the American Alps~!

Initiate your climb, hike, exploration, or boating adventure from this base camp and learn what our beautiful state has to offer. (Yes we have space for parking your boat over night). (Pre-arrangements for larger groups is possible) Tenting space is available.
