Our Guesthouse looks out onto Lake Michigan and North and South Manitou Islands. You can walk as far as you wish on the beach or just enjoy the sun and water. The fire pit lets you cook and enjoy cool evenings with a warm fire.
Our Guesthouse, together with our home, is on Lake Michigan within walking distance of Glen Arbor, Michigan, and surrounded by the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore with its many trails, dunes and beaches. We look out onto North and South Manitou Islands, enjoy the beach for relaxing and walking, and enjoy the water for swimming and paddling around.
Our Guesthouse has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a living room with two day-beds , a mini-kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven, and a bathroom with a stall shower. We provide all the bed linens. We share a deck and fire pit at the beach with our guests. Two bicycles are available for our guests. Parking is available for two standard sized cars next to the Guesthouse. During summer we rent only Saturday to Saturday.
Although the Guesthouse is adjacent to the main house, privacy is assured with private access and no visibility from the main house. As part of our home, the quality of the Guesthouse reflects the quality of our home. Our site with the Guesthouse is very special to our family and to our guests. They consistently want to come back again.
In addition to the Lake Michigan beach, the area includes Glen Lake with its parks, boat rentals, and warmer water for swimming. There are, also, fine restaurants, shops, and a pleasantly relaxed ambiance.

We meet our guests when they arrive and we show them around. After this, we may see only when we happen to use the driveway or the beach at the same time.
