At 'No.1B' you find a warm welcome and can relax across an open-plan sitting & dining space with modern kitchen. New bathroom with a tub to soak in & power shower. Two bedrooms. Outside deck. Freeview TV & Wi-Fi. A secured parking space can be available on request; plenty of free parking on the street outside.

This newly-refurbished completely self-contained apartment forms the lower level of a beautiful period property in a leafy pocket of Glasgow's West End, quietly residential yet within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. Underfloor heating throughout, large windows and an open-plan design provide a bright, modern yet cosy home-from-home. Two separate bedrooms. We had building-regulation-approved soundproofing built in to the conversion which enhances this private and relaxing space.

You get the whole self-contained apartment. The layout sees two separate bedrooms and a bathroom set off a hallway which in turn leads through to a kitchen, dining and living area. Outside at the rear there is a decked area which you are welcome to use. Access is via very secure doors at both front and rear. An off-street parking place can be provided on request at a modest fee (if say you have a very special car!) but there is plenty of free parking out front.

We will be on hand if you need us and you will have our mobile number to call. We have a little dog, so if you don't like the idea of a dog living upstairs then probably not the best.

The West End of Glasgow is famous for its history and culture. It has all the shops and dining you'd expect in a wealthy inner suburb equivalent to areas of London like Hampstead, Islington or Richmond. Vibrant restaurant and café life and near to the Glasgow University district and Botanical Gardens. Our apartment is nice 10 minute stroll from the heart of all that, which is the Byres Road. Walking distance to public transport into Glasgow City Centre, plus regular train links to Edinburgh. 20 mins cab ride from Glasgow International Airport. 30 minutes from the start of the Highlands and 40 minutes from the seaside.

My husband, our adult daughter and I had a fantastic few days in this beautiful, clean and comfortable flat. We walked everywhere, only about 20 minutes to the Byers Road. It's easy to park outside. Ed and Natalie are great hosts who are there if you need them but otherwise leave you to it. Glasgow is a fascinating city.

Really great place to stay in the west end. Fantastic, helpful hosts. Really quick to respond to messages and to provide information and advice you need on your stay. Well equipped kitchen. Nice, private space to sit outside when the sun shines in Glasgow. Perfect.

Natalie and Ed's flat in the West End was absolutely perfect. It was clean, modern, comfortable and well appointed. Natalie and Ed were equally perfect. Communication was easy and we were allowed to check in early and met personally by Natalie. It was an absolute pleasure and great value. I would definitely prefer to stay with them in the near future if back in Glasgow. Five stars all around!
