Valery's place was perfect for us - clean, complete and with a very nice terrace. Valery herself was also very nice and helpful. I recommend her place highly.

Marie was a very welcoming host - quite flexible about check-in times and happy to give us advice about local restaurants. She gave us contact details should we have any questions during our stay. With its stone walls the house was nice and cool during the hot summer weather, and the balcony at the top was large with a beautiful view. All in all, it was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay, surrounded by vineyards and fields. I'd certainly consider staying here again if I returned to the area for my holidays.

Marie personally welcomed us to her charming holiday home and introduced us to her delightful local "contact" lady in case we needed anything (we didn't!). Her house is delightful - it has lots of private places for reading and relaxing, a music room with piano, two bathrooms and eating areas on the terrace, balcony, courtyard and indoors. We especially loved the covered roof terrace (and upstairs kitchenette) for evening drinks and meals and the superb outlook over the hills. The house is very well equipped -there is everything you need in the kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, laundry, music room etc. Another standout feature is the tasteful interior decor, including works of art, and there are books everywhere - in fact, it feels more like a home than a holiday rental. The small touches counted as well - we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and essentials in the refrigerator, which was much appreciated. Marie's house is in a very quiet hamlet, yet conveniently located to shopping (by car) and the delightful town of Uzes. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing holiday in a very comfortable and unusually charming and historic home, Marie's house is highly recommended. We would love to visit again.

Host was very welcoming - easy to get the hang of the things. This is a very big house/apartment in an old - old and small little village. It is roomy - and on many floors. Lovely setting, great decor and everything you need for making a meal, in the kitchen. Short distance to all neccessities - short distance to Uzes, town that has good little pockets of cafés and great buildings. Short to Pont Du Gard (old Roman aquaduct, big tourist attraction but still not that hugely touristic but still...:) ). Well back to the apartment - like said we enjoy 4 nights there - peaceful, old, artistic, very rural, nothing around but still something. We were there in blistering summer heat - with no AC but still we managed. Just stay in the shade and all that. Well. Great little arty place, fits at least 7 i would think...definatly a family. Very happy with this place.

This completely unique house is a very rare and generous home to stay in. It has an expression and atmosphere all over the house inside as well as outside which we found most excellent and exclusive. We loved every day in this house and area - and 9 days were not enough. We stayed there as a family of four with teens and there were plenty of space for all of us. The aesthetics permeates the whole house, Marie's studio is a very inspiring room to stay in, everything in the house is beautiful and well thought out, there is a spirit in the house where you sense the creativity that obviously are practiced there, interesting books everywhere and the piano helps to complete this atmosphere. The beds are very good and Marie let's her guests sleep in bedding of high french quality. The kitchen is very well the equipped with everything needed for good cooking - again all tools in great french high quality. All communication has proceeded entirely smoothly from the very start until check-out. We were welcomed by Shirley on behalf of Marie - and that too went perfectly well. Every picture of this place is absolutely true - but the reality is even better. We highly recommend Marie's fantastic place !

Marie's home was spectacular! It is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa with lovely views, stylish decor and stunning artwork. The villa has a fantastic top deck with idyllic views across the country side. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were extremely well appointed. The residence was very clean, secure and well located near a lovely village. A wonderful experience!

A truly lovely home! Just as described. Marie had her friend Shirley meet us there and she was very welcoming, kind and helpful. A beautiful, very spacious home with a terrace we found hard to leave! Everything you need and more is here. Shirley even bought some fruit and wine for us!! How unexpected and kind! Marie's directions were very clear and helpful and her communication was always quick and lovely. Thank you!! We are not used to Provincal country life either, so the little critters came as a surprise, and we desided that must be part of the experience. Friendly neighbors in a gorgeous setting. You will love this place, as we did!

Accueil parfait, séjour très agréable, Danielle est très accueillante et à l écoute des besoins. Le gîte est propre et fonctionnel , spacieux.

Logement calme et spacieux bien adapté aux familles. Danielle nous a très gentiment accueilli et était tres disponible pour nos questions sur la region. Il faut disposer dun vehicule car le logement est un peu éloigné des villes autour mais c est aussi ce qui fait son calme ! Nous recommandons vivement !

Daniel is a very friendly host.He gave me many informative tips concerning the area around Uzes. Communication is a bit difficult if you don't speak French because Daniel only speaks French and Italian. But still the time in the Bergerie was great and an outstanding experience.

Un petit coin de paradis! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mas de Castellargues chez Aleth. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la maison, le raffinement de la décoration, l'équipement du mazet et surtout l'accueil chaleureux d'Aleth toujours disponible et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Belvezet est un joli hameau plein de ressources (expo, concerts, bar et dépôt de pain !) à 5 minutes à vélo. La région est belle avec Uzès à proximité et il y fait bon vivre entre randonnées et marchés à découvrir. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette adresse de charme.

Son accueil à été très chaleureux. Aneth est presente en cas de besoin et très discrète .le domaine est très joli.

Superbe séjour. Aleth est très accueillante et disponible selon nos besoins. Nos filles l'ont adorée. Le gîte était parfait, très propre, idéal pour les enfants: de plain pied, grand jardin et piscine protégée. La région est très belle, le village est typique et très calme et on y trouve juste ce qu'il faut: le pain et un bistrot très sympa pour les apéros!

Wir haben als 4- köpfige Familie vier wunderbare Tage in diesem idyllisch gelegenen Haus verbracht. Man konnte morgens schon in der Sonne frühstücken und hatte bis abends die Sonne im Garten, der sehr geschmackvoll angelegt ist. Uzes, Pont du Gard, Avignon etc. sind gut erreichbar, auch der nächste Bäcker und Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto nicht weit enfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Très agréable séjour dans la région d'Uzès. Maison très bien équipée, au calme, avec une belle piscine. Accueil chaleureux et de bons conseils pour les restos ! Très bonne prestation.

Très jolie maison et superbe jardin avec piscine et deux terrasses très agréables en pleine nature au milieu des vignes et en lisière de forêt. Un lieu de repos et de calme idéal. Des ballades et des baignades bien isolées au départ de la maison. Juan très réactif aux questions posées, nous avons donc adoré, nous reviendrons en été pour profiter de la piscine !!!

Maison très agréable, spacieuse et lumineuse. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant. La cuisine est immense et très bien équipée. Le poêle est extrêmement efficace en hiver. On a passé un excellent moment.

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans la maison de Claude qui est une petite merveille. Les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables et ombragés ce qui est idéal pour les siestes et les jeux des enfants. La maison, quant à elle, est très bien équipée, rénovée et décorée avec goût. Claude est une personne charmante, réactive, à l'écoute, avec un grand sens de l'accueil... Il a fait en sorte que nous nous sentions chez nous. Bref nous vous recommandons vivement cette maison qui nous manque déjà beaucoup !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Claude. Le village est charmant, proche de la ville d'Uzès et des magnifiques sites de la région. La maison est très accueillante, facile à vivre, au grand calme. Rien à redire, des vacances très reposantes dans une maison chaleureuse.

Excellentes vacances en famille dans la maison de Claude très agréable, fonctionnelle et remarquablement bien entretenue. Claude, très attentif et à l'écoute, a tous mis en oeuvre pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous! Accueil remarquable. Le jardin est grand et lui aussi très agréable. La région regorge de belles balades entre villages et sentiers de randonnée magnifiques.

Nous n'avons pas rencontré Albane mais un voisin très sympathique et serviable qui entretenait la piscine et le jardin. Le lieu, la maison et le jardin sont vraiment très beaux et à peu de distance d'Uzès. Cependant, quelques améliorations dans 2 des chambres seraient les bienvenues pour éviter les insectes indésirables. En dépit de certains détails à améliorer c'est une très belle location dans laquelle nous pourrions à nouveau séjourner!

La propriété d'Albane est magnifique. L'intérieur est à la fois très authentique et décoré d'objets vintage d'un goût exquis. À l'extérieur, l'ancienne bergerie à ciel ouvert est aménagée de telle façon qu'on puisse profiter de plusieurs points d'ombre appréciables (nous y avons pris tous nos repas), avant de descendre vers la piscine qui est encadrée de plantations pleines de charme. Et en contrebas de la piscine, encore un jardin, où les enfants ont pu jouer sans modération. Le village est très paisible, les commerces sont à 5 minutes en voiture. Nous avons pu découvrir Uzes, qui est vraiment proche, mais la maison d'Albane est si confortable que nous avons surtout profité du temps délicieux au bord de la piscine.

Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber wundervollen Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus. Himmlische Ruhe, toller und sauberer Pool, großer Garten, komplette Ausstattung der Küche, bequeme Betten, authentische Einrichtung. Betreuung vor Ort hat bei Ankunft einwandfrei geklappt. Herr Boxer, Sie haben eine Perle in der Provence!

Ein wunderschönes Haus, perfekt ausgestattet für längere Urlaube inklusive Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Der Pool sieht nicht nur auf den Fotos gross aus ;) Das Ganze Anwesen ist tiptop gepflegt. Die Wegbeschreibung ist perfekt gemacht, damit haben wir es gleich gefunden. Besonders schön an dieser Location ist, dass es nicht die typisch "kühle Ausstattung" eines Ferienhauses hat, man sieht dass jemand für sich eingerichtet hat, man fühlt sich auf Besuch bei guten Freunden. Die Lage mit dem wunderschönen Ort Uzès(grandiose Restaurants mit lokalen und saisonalen Gerichten) nahebei ist ideal für Kurztrips in alle Richtungen. Einen Stern Abzug allerdings für die Internet- Situation. Es gibt einen kleinen Pre-paid Router im Haus für den man in einem Shop des Anbieters, z.B. in Avignon oder Nimes, Guthaben kaufen und aufladen lassen kann. Wenn man also nicht gleich ab Anreise Wifi haben will, ist das vielleicht okay. Der Tarif jedoch ist recht teuer im Hinblick auf das gekaufte Datenvolumen, z.B. 20€ für knapp 300MB, das war mit zwei Smartphones die ihre Apps aktualisiert haben und ein paar geladenen eMails direkt weg. Michael war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und unkompliziert und hat sich auf Anfragen schnell zurückgemeldet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall sehr genossen und waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal in der Provence!

Mit der freundlichen Übergabe von zwei Flaschen lokalen Rosés, überbracht von der Haushälterin, begann ein perfekter Erholungs-Urlaub in diesem sauber gepflegten und bestens ausgestatteten Landhaus! Zwei Erwachsene und vier Jugendliche genossen Stille, Duft und Farben und den weiten Ausblick auf Felder und Reben, den grosszügigen Swimmingpool und Umschwung mit schönem Baumbestand. Das belebte historische Städtchen Uzès, Supermärkte oder Weinbauern in der Nähe boten alles zur Unterhaltung und Versorgung Nötige. Ausflüge ans Meer (ca. 1 h Fahrt) oder die Kanu-Fahrt auf dem Gardon unter dem imposanten Pont-du-Gard hindurch rundeten ein "100-Punkte-Sommerferienerlebnis" ab. Wer Ruhe und Erholung in ländlicher Umgebung und landestypischem Ambiente sucht und gerne selber kocht und grilliert, ist hier goldrichtig: "Väng e Päng de Montaräng" - für uns jederzeit und gerne wieder!

Très jolie maison a l'abri des regards. Fonctionnelle toute équipée ! Nous avons apprécié le barbecue, les deux terrasses pour déjeuner à l'ombre et dîner face aux vignobles et la grande piscine. Située à 10 min en voiture d'Uzes et sa jolie place aux herbes, son marché provincal et à 1h30 de la plage camarguaise. A refaire !

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Michael's house in Provence. The house was equipped with everything we could need and was clean and warm, the garden and terraces were lovely to relax in and the countryside setting was beautiful. It was perfectly situated for excursions to Nimes, Arles and Marseille, and close to excellent markets, shops and restaurants in Uzès. Although not specifically adapted, I found the house fully accessible for my wheelchair. We would wholly recommend this property and hope to return in the future!

The photos of La Bergerie simply don't do this gorgeous country house justice. With already high hopes of what we thought to be a cute cottage in the foothills of Provence, we were simply delighted to arrive at this charming, clean and rustic home & former sheepfold in the tiny village of St Mediers, 3km outside Montaren and 7km from nearby Uzes. We needed for nothing, which was remarkable given we were traveling as a young family with an 11 month old baby and two other friends. And anything we did request before our arrival was gracefully provided for by our friendly host Shirley. The house & separate studio were very clean, recently renovated and benefited from all the usual mod cons as well as a wonderful pool and sunny patio, which we put to very good use. Given the extremely warm temperatures during our stay, it was also very pleasant to have a shady garden right outside the kitchen. If I were to look for any room for improvement, it might be that the beds in the studio & main bedroom were not all that comfortable and could do with an upgrade. And for those who might spend more time indoors than outdoors, a modern TV might also be required. All in all however, it was a great shame to leave this quaint little village and our stay was made all the more enjoyable by this wonderful property.
