Park
“It’s a paradise on earth: you can easily spend a day there, walking or cycling between flowers and ponds with big beautiful fish. There is also a well designed maze, high enough to have real fun. Perfect to have a picnic, chill out and have a romantic time, I suggest one day for it. It’s 1.30h by bus from here.”

Historische Stätte
“a hillside estate in the town of Gardone Riviera overlooking the Garda lake. It is where the Italian writer Gabriele d'Annunzio lived after his defenestration in 1922 until his death in 1938. References to the Vittoriale range from a “monumental citadel” to a “fascist lunapark”, the site inevitably inheriting the controversy surrounding its creator.”

Malerischer Ausblick
“An unusual 100m waterfall that thunders through a vertical limestone tunnel rather than off an open cliff. With the help of metal walkways, you can enter the gorge to see the torrent – and get a soaking in the process. A botanical garden has taken root on the terraced hillside, making use of the perpetual downpour. The waterfall is just outside the village of Varone and 3km northwest of Riva's centre. Bus number 1 will get you there, or you can walk up on bike paths.”

“A dream becomes a reality in the botanical garden Hruska at Lake Garda! For a romantic day in a beautiful ambience, this green space, which was acquired by Viennese artist André Heller, is precisely the right place. The unique climate in Gardone Riviera makes it possible to join the flora of the Alps with that of the tropics. The result is an extraordinary collection of trees, shrubs and flowers from all over the world - from Africa and South America, Asia, Europe and Australia. There is edelweiss in the midst of orchids. There are metre-high tree ferns next to pomegranate trees. Behind streams and waterfalls, you find ponds with sacred koi carp and trout, with dragonflies floating on the water. You will see hills of dolomite rock next to cactus and towers of ivy. he paths that run through the lush garden lure you further and further, enticing you into the next unknown paradise, only to be enchanted by its beauty! Hruska Botanical Garden is open every day from March to October, with various events organised in summer.”

“In the Aecheopark you can explore a cave like those where, more than 10.000 years ago, people painted the animals they hunted; you can observe how the Mesolithic nomads , between 10.000 and 7.000 years ago, organized their rock shelters; followed by a herd of goats you can take a break in the neolithic farm and hold the tools of the prehistoric farmers as the hoe or the sickle. It’s also possible to go through a great labyrinth which has been rebuilt on the basis of the petroglyphs found on the rocks in Luine, Capo di Ponte and Cimbergo areas. This big multifunctional theme park is not only to visit but also to live...”

“The most eye-catching attraction of Sirmione is definitely its defensive fortress known as Scaliger castle and its unique geographical setting on a small headland surrounded by the lake. The fortress is the main entrance to the peninsula and is a popular photo motive… ”

“Definitely one of my favourite beaches on the Lake. There are umbrellas, deckchairs, kayak and paddling rental. The beach is composed by 3 parts, rocks, sand and park (grass). There is a good restaurant on the back of the beach that serves all types of dishes. There is a playground for kids too! It is free entrance, you just have to pay the parking.”

“Live a blue colored dream from Malcesine up to the top of Monte Baldo. Admire the blue shades of both lake and sky melting into an amazing landscape offering a view in all its variety: From snow covered Alpine peaks to the rough profile of the closer mountains and the soft scenery of the lowlands. Here the cable car “flies” up to 1,800 meters altitude within only a few minutes. The rotating cabins, unique in the world, let you experience new emotions every time you go.”

“A magic place where the lake landscape leaves space to a mountain environment. It was in this valley where the paper production was established during the early 1900. Just take a relaxing walk in this beautiful valley accompanied by the Maderno river surrounded by the nature.”
