“Beautiful little walk with low country views, right by tons of bars and restaurants. A great way to get some nature without venturing too far from downtown!”

“When its hot and humid and everyone needs a good cool down, the kids can play in the fountain while the adults picnic in the grass. Right on the water, this is a great spot for a summer day!”

“The historic Battery, at the tip of the peninsula. Its the location on the harbor you always see the weather channel broadcast from during big storms. Wonderful photo spot, large oaks and great spot for a picnic. Great place to see old architecture. Free parking along the battery also. There are no public restrooms in the park though (just keep in mind)”

“One of the most famous scenes of Charleston! While often a touristy spot, this place can be enjoyed day or night. Relax on the grass with a picnic. Or just sit and watch the boats go by. ”

“This park is located next to the James Island Yacht Club. It was formerly known as “Sunrise Park”, and it offers some spectacular views of Charleston Harbor and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. This park does not cover a large area of land, but the variety of scenery here is incredible. Many people bring their dogs here to walk.”
