Es una casa preciosa, cómoda, espaciosa, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de descanso. Vista impresionante, camas confortables, fuimos con nuestros hijos pequeños y estuvieron felices. La piscina privada es pequeña pero especial para chicos, y la piscina de uso común es muy linda y segura. Buena seguridad, un poquito de cuidado con los animales porque vimos dos alacranes pero lo normal en esta zona. Lo recomiendo al 100%

The place was perfect for our family -- very clean, well stocked and in great condition. Roberto responded quickly to our communications and made it very easy for us... even leaving some initial goodies so that we had basic supplies for a late night snack and the next morning breakfast. Highly recommend!

The house was nice and big, everything we needed was there, the pool is a 5 minutes walking and it has the most amazing view i have ever seen, totally worth it. Loraine and her husband were really nice and there house was just next to this place. I would come back for sure!!

I recently stayed 7 nights with family from Guatemala. Including our 3 year old daughter. The house was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for our holiday. Because there was four of us and we had our 3 year old daughter we utilised the whole house. Due to the location of the house a rental car is necessary. Beaches are close by, but also the pool was available to use and was a few minutes from house (by foot). The view from this large accommodating pool were breathtaking and perfect for our family. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking some time out.

This house is such a great little gem! It is in a safe area and the beautiful infinity pool is a few minute walk down the road. Aye and my girlfriends loved the house - great kitchen, open space, and in such a nice little area. Lorraine is great and speedy to respond to any questions we had! The beds are comfy, space clean, would definitely love to stay here again!

Our host made us feel very welcomed. She picked us up from the bus stop, gave us a quick tour of the area we were in so we were aware of where restaurants, shopping centers, grocery stores were, etc. She gave us a detailed tour of her place before handing us the keys over (We left a $20 deposit for the keys and got it back upon returning them)

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time in Costa Rica and when we found this beautiful villa that was part of a resort near the beach, we did not hesitate to book it. The villa itself was bigger than I had pictured! Our family of four was very comfortable there. The whole villa was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed to make our week there feel like home. The pool was very small, but seriously more than enough to relax after a long day of exploring. The resort staff were all so, so, so friendly and helpful. They genuinely made this entire trip the most memorable! I can't imagine staying anywhere else the next time I'm in Playa Hermosa!

Anic's villa is perfect for a quiet vacation on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. I went with my family and this was big enough for the five of us (all adults). Her AirBnb is as described her in add. Ronnie (villa manager) came to see us the following day or your arrival. He was very kind and helpful. Playa Hermosa beach is just a +/-5 minute walk from the villa. The beach is beautiful and is not crowded. We have visited Playa Del Coco beach and honestly Playa Hermosa is a nicer beach for swimming. However, there is more to do in Playa Del Coco as it’s more populated. There is a grocery store (Luperon) 10 minute walk away from the resort which is convenient as you can easily prepare meals. Anic’s villa is equipped with all the kitchen essentials to prepare your meal. This can really be an asset if you want to save money. If you want to explore outside of this place, the best way to do it is either renting a car or booking organized tours with the hotel reception. We did rent a car from Avis (located in Occidental Grand in Papagayo- +/- 15 minute drive). The hotel staff called the agency for us and an Avis agent picked us up at the main office in order to do the organize the booking.

Great place. Convenient location and the villa had all the furnishings one would need. Housekeeping was a nice touch and the private pool was the best amenity.

We travelled with 2 young kids (aged 1 and 4) and everything was perfect: the villa is located within a resort, so you get all the amenities and at the same time enjoy a fully equiped apartment. This villa is also well located within the Villa Sol complex: in a quiet area, a short walk to the beach (10 minutes walk) and a short walk (5 minutes) to the main pool. Anic was a great host and quickly answered all our questions. We highly recommend!

David and Yara were very easy to work with and were quick to communicate with me since day 1 of booking. This home is part of a resort so it's important to follow all the rules of both the resort and the villa! The villa was gorgeous, modern feel with a beautiful back patio, with a hammock, a great view and private pool. They did provide Wi-Fi for us, that you must remember to pay at check-out :-) There were lots of beds which was nice and 2 bathrooms. What's nice about being at the resort is that there are a couple of main pool areas with swim-up bars and food, as well as a shuttle to get you around the resort and most importantly, to the beach! We were treated well by both David and Yara, as well as the whole staff at the resort. If I ever go back to Playa Hermosa, I would definitely stay here again!

David was so easy to work with...prompt and friendly communication. Location was good, beach shuttle was very convenient. We had a couple hiccups, but owner was very fast and fair to remedy. I would definitely stay again.

The house manager Jennifer was the perfect host and liaison the whole entire trip! She made sure we were comfortable and even recommended some places for us to visit! She scheduled a touring company to visit us at the villa to explain different excursions. Watching the sunset was the best part! Wonderful!

I don't think it is possible to put my stay here into words! Really I don't even know where to start! I arrived to Costa Rica with five of my friends to celebrate my birthday. We had some bumps upon arriving to Costa Rica (rental cars were a mess!) The property manager Jennifer (an absolute savior) was happy to assist us in figuring out our mess and we hadn't even gotten to the property yet! Once arriving to Alicia's incredible home, all six of us had our jaws drop to the ground, absolutely beautiful! Pictures cannot capture the beauty. High ceilings, plenty of room, and an amazing kitchen! Already impressed but the mansion we were to call home for the next week, and we hadn't even seen the best part - the pool. Unbelievable, the most magnificent view and it was right outside our panoramic windows to the master bedroom. The location of the home was unbeatable. Ten minutes from the lively Playa De Coco, five minutes to the beach, and one of the best restaurants called Ginger is about a two minute drive (we ended up going twice its that good!) Our stay was made that much better through Jennifer. She cared about our time there, assisting us with tours, airport shuttles, and dinner reservations, she was there anytime we needed help! I can say enough how truly thankful I am that I got to celebrate my birthday in such a magnificent atmosphere.

Nous avons été bien accueilli par Myra et André; même si nous étions en avance deux heures. Ils étaient au rendez-vous. La maison était comme décrite. Nous avons eu quelques difficultés, bris d'un air climatisé; problème qui a été résolu dès que possible. Bravo à Myra et André et Gerri. La piscine était situé un peu plus loin que je l'avais compris ( à environ 300 mètres de la maison) avec une côte assez abrupte à monter....Mais quelle belle piscine avec vue sur la mer nous y avons passé pleins de belles après-midis en famille. C'était formidable. Le réseau Internet fonctionnait très bien.

This place was wonderful. The area is quiet and remote. The property manager was there to help out with any issues that popped up and have us helpful advice on making the most of our time in Playa Panama. The only thing that renters should consider is that the property is not located where AirBNB shows. The property is actually located here (URL HIDDEN) . The house was perfect for everything we needed and a great deal as well.

This house is such a lovely, wonderful place to spend a family vacation in Guanacaste. It is just a short drive from the Liberia airport and just a few minutes to beautiful beaches. The house is roomy and comfortable - also very nicely furnished. Each morning, we had coffee on the balcony and watched the wildlife - including howler and capuchin monkeys. We went to the pool most evenings to watch the sunset - spectacular! I recommend visitors rent a car. The roads are very good and it is easy to find your way around. While 4-wheel drive is not necessary for most drives, it is needed to reach more remote locations and beaches. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house each day - the kitchen has everything you need. Groceries are a bit pricey, but not too bad if you buy local products. Overall, I recommend staying at this house in Playa Panama. We will definitely try to stay here if and when we are able to return!

Wonderful house in the middle of an unforgettable place. If you want to have a pleasent stay just a few minutes of the beautiful beach (i.e. Playa Hermosa or Playa Panama), we really recomend to rent this great house.

The house is spacious and beautiful, and in a quiet, private, gated community. Lots of wildlife around the house, including monkeys, parrots and iguanas. The community pool is gorgeous and never crowded. The property manager responds quickly to any concerns. You will want to rent a car in order to go to the beaches, restaurants and stores.

I really enjoyed staying at Gerri's place. She was very responsive and replied every message very quickly. The house is really nice. It is equipped with everything you might need, even a washer and a dryer. The tennis court is really beautiful, if you play tennis, you will love it. The pool is gorgeous. It is an infinite pool with a great view to the Pacific that will make you feel very relaxed. The place is really quiet and nobody was using the pool so we didn't have to share it with anyone :) . Myra is the property manager, and she is also a very nice person and she was really willing to help us with anything. I'm really happy I found this place and will definitely rent it again and recommend it to all my friends.

Views were amazing - pictures don't do it justice! Pool was very nice. House easily accommodated our party of 6 (3 couples) with privacy for all couples, but great gathering space as well. Concierge, Frazer, was friendly, helpful, and the excursions offered were well worth it. Vehicle is needed for the steep hill up to house. House was clean, beds comfortable. Only downside was low water pressure in the showers and water temperature was highly variable (but I think that's just Costa Rica and not so much the house). Would definitely come back again - loved our stay here!

Our family of 8 just spent 5 wonderful nights at Jody's rental in Playa Hermosa. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed them from the roof top deck, from the second floor balconies and especially poolside, as well as from inside most bedrooms - just gorgeous. The location was a great fit for our family. We had a rental car, which I highly recommend, so we could take day trips to Playa Flamingo, Playa Del Coco and more, but several in our large group enjoyed having the chance to walk into town or even the nearest beach. The pool was larger than we expected. While I thought it might be a small plunge pool based on earlier reviews, our whole group had fun splashing away daily. Mind you, it's not a lap pool but the nearby ocean is available for distance swimming. We appreciated having the kitchen as it allowed us to make breakfasts and two dinners at home. We also had great meals at nearby Ginger, Robertos, and Abbocato. The Surf Box near Playa Flamingo was labeled epic by many in our family. Jody herself is a wonderful hostess. She sent many tips and recommendations and answered all my questions patiently and with great detail. Three out of the four restaurants above were her idea, and we loved them. Frazier, our concierge at Milagros Guest Services, was spectacular. He answered a few late night phone calls, helped us arrange for a rental car large enough for our party and - at our request -booked us two fantastic tours. The all day fishing/snorkeling trip was amazing but if you have the time be sure and ask Frazier to book you a day tour to hike Arenal and then enjoy the Springs Resort and Spa. Every member of the group mentioned it as one of the highlights of the trip. Our Tico Tour operators Hansel and Juan Carlos went above and beyond in every regard. Thanks to them, we saw a cloudless volcano AND a real live wild sloth. Last but not least, we were grateful for the 24 hour security guard and alarm system at the property. One member of our group had some very expensive equipment with him but everything was safe and sound thanks to the guard gated community. There are a few things to be aware of: this is not a resort town. That's what we loved about it but if you are looking for an homogenized beach community that could be dropped on any coastline in the US, this may not be for you. If you are looking for beauty, fun and an authentic feel, enjoy Casa Buena Vista. Pura vida!

Casa Buena Vista was a great choice for our family trip. We were traveling with our four children (ages 20-25) and it worked out great for everyone to get around and find different activity options. The beach and several area restaurants are within walking distance as well as a small grocery store. The house is large and spacious. The view is awesome. The only trade off to being close to restaurants/activities/beach was the noise from the main road below. For us, it was worth it though. Playa Hermosa was a beautiful beach area. It was busy without being too touristy and crowded. We drove over to Playa Coco and Playa Tamarindo to see different areas. We found there were many activity choices but they were also very busy and full of tourist. We were happy to get back to the Playa Hermosa area. Ginger's was a very nice tappas restaurant near by. Probably not the best choice for a hungry crew of six though. Check out the Aqua Sports restaurant/bar down on the beach, The food was very good and you can just sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy the ocean view. We would definitely recommend this house and Costa Rican location.

Casa Buena Vista was an amazing place for our 5-day stay. It was great for my immediate family of 3 kids (under 7) and spouse, plus my parents who joined us. The house layout is a great fit for two families given how spacious it is and the two master BR format. Views are spectacular, and it is particularly lovely to dine outdoors on the terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The house infinity pool is compact, but was perfect for our young children who made good use of the pool! It was cleaned daily, too. Location is perfect for those who want to be away from some of the commercial spots in Costa Rica but close enough to access stores, shops, and restaurants within easy drives (or walks in some cases). The property is in a gated area staffed 24 hours by security staff, which contributes to an overall feeling of security. There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive, and Playa Hermosa is walkable from the house. The destination management company (Milagros) was great to work with and they helped us book some of our events during our stay. There is plenty to do in the area, and it is very convenient to be located within a half hour of the Liberia airport. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Buena Vista and would recommend it to travelers looking for an alternative to the hotel experience. It would be particularly ideal for 3-4 couples or 2 families looking to enjoy a spacious house with access to desirable Costa Rican views and attractions.

The house was very beautiful and was as described. We were concerned about the size of the pool but it was adaquate for our needs. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this location and this property. Our only con: The owners could provide more basic supplies. They did say they provide an initial set up but it was not adaquate for 8 people. I would have been willing to pay a few dollars more to get enough basic supplies to last duration of the stay.

I can't recommend this house enough! The first thing that greets you when you walk in the front door is the stunning view of Bahia Hermosa, a beautiful bay dotted with tiny islands. Whether you're relaxing in the infinity pool, standing at the, or sitting in one of they rocking chairs that populate the wrap-around balcony or just lying in bed, it's almost impossible to look away. In addition to the view, this house couldn't be in a better spot. It's only about a 20 minute ride from the airport. A quick cab trip (approximately 10 minutes) gets you to the dance clubs in Playa del Coco. Closer still is the beach, which is about a five minute walk. And last but not least, one of the highlights of our trip was the lovely restaurant called Ginger that's about a two minute walk from the front gate. I can't imagine that it's possible to find a more perfect location to go on holiday.

We highly recommend this house. The house is beautiful and we loved the location. The property management company, Milagro was a huge help. A huge thanks to Laura, she made our trip amazing! The company Sibu Tour's was wonderful, we loved all our guides. We would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Playa Hermosa, and this was a great place for our two families to stay. Steven was very communicative and his business partner works nearby which was very helpful. Our kids LOVED the pool table, and we all enjoyed the pool. It's very convenient to the beach. Lots of howler monkeys nearby which we loved to watch. We recommend to others looking to stay in the area!

Our family group of six adults and a toddler greatly enjoyed our stay. The beach was a short walk and the location made it easy to come back from the beach when it was nap time for our toddler. There's a restaurant across the street that we ate lunch at several times. The beach front restaurants were perfect for dinner and were family friendly. The on-site caretaker and in-town contacts were very helpful and answered questions promptly. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and beach towels. We did not have any problem with security and felt that it was safe and did not worry about leaving our belongings in the house or rental cars in the drive. The grocery store was close enough not to be inconvenient to get fresh bread for breakfast or ice cream in the evening.

Very nice home, just as described. Easy to get to from airport. Ian was always courteous and helpful when we needed him. Loved the beach within walking distance and the small shops and restaurants all around.

Our stay at Safari House was fantastic! The location is perfect for relaxation and yet a stroll away to the beach, restaurants, groceries & artisan vendors. The house, pool and grounds are beautiful! The visits by Iguanas & Monkeys made it a "safari". The locals are so friendly and welcoming. All communications with Steve were promt, and any/all details were taken care off right away. Highly recommended!

Lovely home in the center of Playa Hermosa. We stayed for four nights over Christmas with family aged 5 to 70. Everyone was very comfortable, enjoyed the home and the pool. It's located on a large, private lot in the heart of town, about a 5 minute walk along the road to the beach, near several restaurants/bars.

If you want to stay where you can be right in the middle of the Costa Rican culture, this is the place for you. The weekend got loud and busy with locals, but we loved it. The beach was amazing! Isabel was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable. A couple of nights we woke up to the sound of howler monkeys in the trees right above us. That was awesome. We were very happy that we stayed there.

Isabel's cabina at Playa Hermosa is the epitome of "La Pura Vida"! It is in an lovely, quiet, tree shaded compound, of several other cabinas, right on the beach. The private deck and patio provide views of the local fauna(birds, howler monkeys, iguana and squirrels), sunsets, harbor, beach goers, islands and distant vistas. It is a beautiful sandy beach, with small waves and clean water. Several, delightful restaurants are easily accessible by walking. Seafood is king and the local fare is great and affordable. Kayaks and snorkling trips may be rented right from the beach. This cabina, I feel is for those who want a simple, comfortable and authentic Tico experience- not an isolated, condo/resort vacation. Isabel, the owner, is a warm, kind, friendly, extremely helpful person who made our 1 week stay all the more enjoyable and memorable. We definitely would want to return!

Our family booked this home for a long weekend and found it perfect for our children and our puppy. The home is spacious and conveniently located just in front of the beach, which the kids (and pup) loved. The rooms had air-conditioning, which we only needed at night. The kitchen had all the basics for preparing meals at the house, but for the non-cooks like me, several restaurants were conveniently located a very short walk away along the beach. The property is in an enclosed (fenced-in) area with a few other homes, just to the right of the small main (2nd entrance) public beach parking area. So, it felt safe and secure, like a little shaded oasis. It was nice to let our pup, and kids, run around the enclosed area, when we weren't out on the beach. Howler monkeys, iguanas, birds and hermit crabs were just some of the wildlife we experienced while having breakfast in the shade overlooking the beach out on the balcony. Playa Hermosa was perfect for our kids (6, 12), who played in the sand and water for hours, and regardless of the tide, there didn't seem to be any huge waves. There is a playground on the beach just near this home, too, which was another plus for my youngest. Isabele is a most gracious host, eager to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She and a few family members live in a couple of the homes on the property, and rent a couple of the other homes. The family seems to take much pride in their property, and in keeping the grounds neat and clean. It had a very nice family-friendly feeling. There is no internet access, which may be problematic for some renters, or rather a nice get-away from technology, as it was for us. (However, when we needed internet access, it was easy to access in front of a nearby hotel/restaurant). When I made this reservation, my husband was initially worried about the heat on the beach during the dry season, but then very pleasantly surprised by this home and location- the surrounding shade trees and beach breeze were pleasant (with A/C, if needed). It was nice to spend an evening lying on the sand quietly stargazing, and another evening listening to live music and watching the bonfire at a restaraunt nearby. This home felt conveniently centrally located. It is easy to walk from one end of the beach to the other, and there are several activities offered nearby (stand-up paddle board, banana boat, parasailing, snorkeling etc.) We are spending 1 year living in Monteverde (from Colorado), and since we periodically need a kid-friendly beach retreat from the cooler cloud forest location, we were happy to discover this beach and would definitely return here, and to this home, again. We loved staying at Isabel’s place! The house is amazingly located on the beach. And I mean ON THE BEACH! Getting to Playa Hermosa you can't miss the complex as you drive all the way down to the beach and the gated complex is on you right side. The house is simple but convenient and well equipped. We loved the monkeys and iguanas and Hermosa beach is fabulous. We recommend taking a boat to do some snorkeling in the morning (8-9am). We paid $50-$80 for a family of 5. Also ask your captain if he is going in the water with you. It makes a huge difference as the locals know where to find the most interesting creatures! Try to do your shopping before getting to the beach (Liberia?) as prices are much higher in stores around Hermosa and Coco.

My friends and I (five total) had a great stay at Isabel's house. The best part is that there is only a gate separating you from the beach. The beach is small, relatively quiet with mainly locals and families or couples. The water is warm and the waves are large enough to be fun, but small enough to be totally safe (at least while we were there). The house itself is simple, but comfortable. There are two bathrooms with showers. Water is warm (but not hot). There is a kitchen that is nice for making breakfast. There are four bedrooms, but lots of beds for larger parties. Sleeping was quite comfortable with rooms darkened by word covers if you want (especially if you are using the A/C units in each room) and you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. Everything is pretty comfortable, but nothing is fancy. Between the house and the beach is a small patio that's nice for escaping the sun, playing cards, or reading. Overall, it's a great place to relax as long as you don't expect to be in the lap of luxury. It's definitely an excellent value.

We only stayed our last night in Costa Rica, but loved it, and next trip will stay a couple of weeks! I agree with all the other reviews. As hard as it is to believe, it really is right on the beach. lovely courtyard, good air conditioning, amazing porch view- including sunset, easy walk to restaurants and markets. Felt very secure. Beach is clean, and sand right up to the gate. The trees provide great shade. Mangos do fall on the roof - but slept great!

What a beautiful property! Clean, spacious, and a close walk from the beach. 4 of us stayed in the home and were very comfortable. Beautiful pool area that looks over the ocean, and a large kitchen that was perfect for cooking meals at home. Couldn't have asked for a better location or place to stay! The concierge was also very helpful in setting up excursions for us. I highly recommend the ATV tour and the private fishing trip. Overall, a wonderful trip!

Beautiful and spacious house... pictures can't show the amazing view. Great communication with managers, where fullfield all our needs at their soonest, water issues due to the season were fixed as well. Near by the most beautiful beaches in Guanacaste... Recommended 100% for family vacation

Pricila's home was so great for our girls trip. There were 5 of us who traveled so it was great to have the space so that everyone could do what they wanted. There were great restaurants in walking distance on the beach, which was great because we didn't have a car. The little pool was lovely and it was pretty magical to lay in the pool at the end of the day and watch the monkeys play in the trees above each evening. Playa Hermosa had great restaurants on the beach, but most of the shopping and entertainment was outside of walking distance, especially in the heat of the day so that's something to consider if you are considering Hermosa and not considering a car. For those who are new to Costa Rica, they don't have addresses as many places so if you are ready trying to research this area, or plan any excursions, the reference point for tours, transportation, etc is that the house is located directly south of Hotel El Velero. :) Pricila was an incredible host. She met us at the house, showed us around, and told us a little about the house when we arrived. Weeks before we got there, Pricila was always willing to answer a question and aid with planning, which made planning the trip so much easier. It was a beautiful stay and I'm so grateful that we found Pricila's home for our trip. We would definitely stay again.

This location is perfect! Loved having coffee at the pool right outside the back door, then stepping out to the beach for morning walk. The neighbors and neighborhood were delightful. We (group of women) all felt very safe there, and walked around day and night on the beautiful beach and around the darling little town with no worries. All the locals made us feel very welcome. Priscila was wonderful, we had a lot of contact before we arrived, and she met us at the property, and also checked in with us several times throughout the week. She has a sweet young man that does maintenance on the property that was helpful for any questions we might have had. (and he helped us with our Spanish!) There are 3 yummy restaurants within a 3 minute walk (one on the beach-fabulous!), 2 convenience/grocery/pharmacy stores within a 10 minute walk, and a hotel next door that you can book tours with if you were interested. As they say, Location, Location, Location- and this home has this in spades!! Loved it, will do our best to be back some day!!

Location is amazing, right in front of the beach. House is huge. We were 9 people and a baby and we stayed very comfortable. Priscila was a great host. We were there for our brother's wedding and she allowed us some flexibility for the check in and check out since we had so much going on with the wedding, which we appreciated deeply. The house definitely is a little bit old (a house in front of the beach demands a lot of maintenance), but with a good renovation it could be perfect.

Fantastic place! The house was very comfortable. The kids loved snorkeling at the beach and playing in the waves. We look forward to a return trip.

We loved Priscila' s home. It was right on the beach and close to many restaurants. Great location. Pricilla always checked in to see if we needed anything. We would definitely return.

Priscilla was great! she was very helpful and willing to ensure we had a great time. The place has a GREAT beachfront location and is in good conditions. We had a great time as a family, from my parents to my baby nephews and even my dog!
