“New England has very few good Mexican places, and this is one of them. Love the carnitas, veggie options and margaritas. Limited seating during the winter; huge patio for the warmer months.”

“Go for the cupcakes, stay for the atmosphere. We recommend the Monte Cristo - a turkey, ham and swiss cheese sandwich on Portuguese sweet bread french toast. They are known for their brunch and afternoon tea, but we enjoy dinner there as well. Opens at 10am, but expect a line at the door in the mornings. Open late except Thursdays and closed on Mondays.”

“BEST restaurant in Providence if you want something special and willing to drive 45 minutes. MUST have reservation unless you get there to wait in line at 5pm before they open. MUST TRY- make a real event and go to Providence for the day or simply a wonderful night out- BEST spot in Providence and RI”

“On destination WICKENDEN ST. Historic FOX POINT. My fave pizza. (along with chain store Papa Gino's!) thin crust NY style. Casserta on Federal Hill is the traditional fave with thick crust. Also, downtown on lovely shopping/strolling destination WESTMINSTER ST.--Providence Coal-fired Pizza is pretty rockin'. You can sit outdoors--al fresco. They have an arugula pizza that I love. ”

“Haven't missed a beat since re-opening in mid-May! The food is really good, but their cocktail game is unusually strong. We can confirm that they're just as good to go!”

“The Bacaro experience is as heavy or light as the customer chooses it to be. Whether a night out is about meeting some friends over a wonderful bottle of wine with some prosciutto and grilled figs or summer melons or a full-service dining experience, Brian and Jennifer have created the environment that fulfills the senses.”

“Great, flavorful Thai food. Our favorite spot for curry. Ask for the Mango Roll, as in roll on the floor 'cause it's so good!”
