Angie's flat is beautiful and in a really quiet location. Communication was always fluid and we had a great stay. Highly recommend.

We had a warm welcome from Angie, and the flat exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and light, and provided a very comfortable stay for our family of 3, including a pre-schooler. The kitchen and bathroom were very modern and easy to use. The location of the flat was convenient for the activities we wanted to use (there is a softplay a short drive away), and parking was easy to find next to the flat.

Had a wonderful break at gardeners cottage, quiet and relaxing, the area has some lovely walks. Close enough to Gainsborough for shopping. The cottage it's self is well maintained, has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen and Debbie is so thoughtful, cereals, fresh eggs, milk, butter, jams, teas and coffees , all provided, as it was Easter, hot cross buns and mini eggs were a nice surprise! also, a couple of bottles of water which was a lovely touch. The bed is incredibly comfortable and and the quality of the bedding added to that, overall we loved it, Debbie is incredibly welcoming and we are looking forward to a return visit

Over and above expectations, butter, milk, bread, conserves, biscuits and pastries. It was lovely and quiet and the bed comfortable. Good communication and kind offer to sort takeaway for us as we were arriving late. Too cheap and excellent value. However we did miss not having a TV how sad are we!!

Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo a casa di Keely. La sistemazione era presentata e di alto livello. La vasca free standing e letto a baldacchino erano piccoli tocchi di classe. La posizione è ottima! E 'vicino (15-20 minuti a piedi) al villaggio che ha un grande pub e pesce a carbone e Chip Shop! Abbiamo avuto il miglior pesce e patatine mai! Nel complesso una bella soggiorno!

Keely made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely touch of a welcome basket and bottle of wine as well. The place itself was stunning and true to the pictures...even better in real life. Location was ideal and made for a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!!

Keely's place was really lovely. We were welcomed by her daughter who politely showed us in. We were pleased to see crisps, chocolate and a bottle of wine! It's a really homely place and felt warm and cosy with very comfy sofas. It's in a pretty location and the garden is beautiful. Went to Adam's Bay in nearby Gainsborough for fish and chips which were really good too. Check in and out were very easy with great communication. Oh and how could I forget the bath?! -Also a great feature of the place! Thank you Keely for a brief but lovely stay!

The stay was amazing. Lovely area and had close my shops and pubs. The place was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for anymore from the stay. The hosts, had thought of anything and everything for the stay and it had lovely finishing touches. - massive value for what is asked for. The couple made us feel very welcomed and contact was so easy. Beautiful place and would definitely recommend a stay here.

We only stayed for one night but it was lovely and had everything we needed and more cereals and breakfast items than we could ever want! Our teenagers thought this was brilliant! It is a beautiful cozy stable conversion, probably more suited to two people than a family, but we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

A little gem of a place with all mod cons and very well presented. The hosts offer a great balance of friendliness and privacy. A very tasty selection of basic food items offered which were very much appreciated. A pretty location with a beautiful canal in the centre of the village and a tasty local cafe offering healthy, delicious snacks and meals. The local Chinese Takeaway also excellent! An excellent stay all round, highly recommend.

John is friendly and welcoming. His place is an interesting barn restoration with quality fixtures and lovely interior design. The kitchen was well stocked with delicious breakfast supplies. The accommodation is close to Lincoln and Gainsborough which are both interesting places to visit in Lincolnshire.

Everything was perfect, no problems in this clean and well equipped house in a charming village. John was the perfect host. We can very firmly recommend to couples with or without children.

Everything about The Stable is excellent, it's beautifully decorated and furnished, extremely well stocked with everything you need for your stay-more than we expected, John had thought of everything. We didn't want to leave and wished we were there for more than one night!

I would highly recommend the fantastic Stable / Barn stay. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. It was homely, relaxing, so clean you could have your breakfast off the kitchen floor. The facilities were amazing. Such a lovely generous supply of food. The two boys were so hungry when they got in from the long drive from London that the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and topped with Nutella went down a treat. We genuinely didn't want to leave and will definitely be coming back as soon as we can!!!

Anna und Wayne sind tolle Gastgeber, Wayne gab es bei der Ankunft zu begrüßen, und es gab einen Korb mit Essen für uns gefüllt - absolut toll. Konnte nicht unseren Aufenthalt im geringsten Fehler und würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Really great Luft B & B-Erlebnis. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft in der Nähe von Wakefield und Doncaster bleiben. Wir waren sehr glücklich, Wayne und Annas Ort finden. Es ist in einem Nebengebäude aus dem Haupthaus. Es ist alles auf einer Etage, mit einer Küche / Wohnzimmer, einem Schlafzimmer und eigenem Duschbad. Wir waren mit unseren zwei Jahre alten Jungen unterwegs, und eine Woche alten Sohn (der auf dem Schlag bis Bett geschlafen). Es gab genügend Platz für uns alle, um zu leben. Es gab einen schönen Picknickkorb für uns bei der Ankunft bestückt, die mit Frühstückszutaten gefüllt war, (sehr nette Geste) Wayne war zur Stelle, um uns zu zeigen, in, erklärt, wie die Heizung und TV tätig. Alles war einfach, in der Küche zu finden und alles in allem war es eine fantastische Basis, um für uns zu haben. Wayne und Anna gab nur einen Telefonanruf entfernt, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Draußen gab es einen schönen Terrassenbereich, wo man sitzen und entspannen Sie bei einem Glas Wein können. Wert weise, was man bekommt, seine erste Klasse. Wenn Sie nach einem Ausgangspunkt für Reisen zu suchen, ist es ideal, wenn Sie nach einem Ort suchen, um zu gehen, wo man sich zurücklehnen und entspannen können sind, ist es auch ideal für. Beste aus beiden Welten

Wir buchten dieses letzten Minute, so dass die "Instant-Buchung" für uns gut funktioniert. Die Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet. Wir lassen unsere Gastgeber uns wahrscheinlich Ankunftszeit, aber am Tag kamen wir knapp 1 Stunde später als erwartet - nicht ganz sicher zu sein, wie lange für Fahrten von einem Ort zum nächsten zu ermöglichen. Trotz dieser später Ankunft wurden wir sehr willkommen und der Bungalow war sauber und gut präsentiert - so wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. Das Frühstückskorb war eine willkommene Ergänzung, die bedeutete, dass wir etwas Milch und Getreide hatte am nächsten Tag zu starten. Die Lage war ruhig in einem halb ländlichen Umgebung. Wenn in der Gegend wieder, würde ich nicht zögern zu.

Wählen Sie diese vor allen anderen Optionen Wir sind absolut geehrt und chuffed um Anna und Wayne ihre erste Bewertung zu verlassen, und begrüßen sie bei Airbnb. Wir nahmen den Bungalow für eine Nacht über auf einer langen Fahrt zwischen Edinburgh und London, zu stoppen. Es sollte ein kurzer Halt sein, aber am Ende haben wir die meisten der am nächsten Tag in der Gegend. Es ist ein kleines Stück vom Himmel weniger bekannten, mit schönen Spaziergängen und viel zu tun in der Umgebung. Der Bungalow selbst ist ein Zeugnis für Anna und Waynes guten Geschmack und Großzügigkeit. Es ist äußerst komfortabel, gut ausgestattet war und luxuriös - wir hatten nicht erwartet, diese Erfahrung und konnten unser Glück kaum fassen, während am nächsten Morgen auf der Terrasse genießen ein warmes Frühstück. Anna und Wayne sowohl auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir spät angekommen und waren immer bereit, mit irgendetwas zu helfen. Dennoch gaben sie uns viel Privatsphäre. Kurz gesagt, ist dies die beste Erfahrung, die wir, wie der mit Airbnb hatten jetzt: geräumig, bequem, begrüßen zu dürfen. Ich fühle mich nostalgisch nur darüber zu schreiben und wir können es kaum erwarten, wieder hinzufahren.

Wir haben 10 Tage in Waynes Bungalow verbracht und waren begeistert von all den Bequemlichkeiten, die unsere Unterkunft geboten hat, die Einrichtung und gesamte Ausstattung kann als absolut perfekt bezeichnet werden, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Obwohl recht einsam auf dem Land gelegen, findet man in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen, auch ein Pub ist in der Nähe. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Kieran was a great host, making sure that we found everything and that the house was spotless for our arrival. We had a great time at this house for New Year's Eve and would recommend it to anyone who wants a house that's quiet and private for a few days.

Exactly as advertised, very nicely renovated cottage, directly opposite one of the village pubs. Well appointed, comfortable spot ideal for a stop in the village of Owsten Ferry or surrounding area. Will definitely be back. Kieran was very quick to respond to any contact and even allowed us a slightly later check out.

Great place to stay if you are exploring the area and want a base. All kitchen equipment available and plenty of room for couples or families. Clean and comfortable. No problems at all with my stay. I would recommend Kieran's place to stay.

Kiearan received us at the entrance of the house and showed us around. The place is extremely clean and tidy, and it is a very spacious house. If you don't cook there is a pub right across the street, and parking slots in front of the house or at the pub are very easy to find. This place is highly recommended if you want to travel by car to places around this area or if you are looking for a place to rest in tranquillity for a few days.

Richard and Vicky were very helpful with our booking of their rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable with plenty of parking outside. Richard offered to make the lads breakfast and because they were starting early he made breakfast sandwiches for them. They also were happy for one of our guys to bring his dog, as long as she behaved herself and didn't go on the bed, we appreciated that. Communication was great and we would not hesitate in recommending this place or in coming again. Thank you.

Richard was very helpful in the run up to our stay. We needed accommodation for two employees that were starting a bowling green build project in the village and this bed and breakfast couldn't be better located. Richard and I spoke to arrange arrival times and he gave me good information about the village and facilities available nearby for the lads. I know they've been taking advantage of these. They are also doing our lads breakfast sandwiches to take with them, because they start work early, and have offered to cook them dinner if they wanted. We are happy to be staying for the next two weeks at this friendly and welcoming place. They also were happy for one of our lads to bring his dog, which helped us out.

Also, mein kurzer Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr angenehm. Ich wurde sehr herzlich von Cathys Mann empfangen, der auch Geduld mit meinem holperigen Englisch hatte und sogar noch ein Bier spendierte. Das geräumige Zimmer hat alles , was man braucht, WLAN, und vor allem, ein eigenes WC und Dusche. Duschgel usw ist vorhanden, die Handtücher duften und sind weich (nicht diese üblichen Hotel Bretter). Eine gut gestaltete Mappe erklärt die Umgebung und die Möglichkeiten. Jedenfalls sieht man, dass die Gastgeber sich große Mühe bei der Einrichtung gegeben haben. Ein kleines Frühstück ist inklusive und wird im Wintergarten serviert. Der Ort ist sehr klein, und so ist die alte Schule auch gut zu finden. Interessante , dörfliche Idylle in gepflegter Umgebung! Schade, dass ich nicht länger bleiben konnte. Eine kleine Oase mit sehr netten, interessierten Gastgebern.

Cathy and Kev were very friendly and welcoming hosts and we had a great time chatting with them. The bedroom and bathroom were nice. A lovely breakfast was provided in the sunroom. We drove to a local town (10 mins away) for dinner.

Our host and husband came out and welcomed us, explained everything and provided off road parking for our classic car. The self contained bedroom, sitting room and bathroom offered all that we could have wished for. The period converted old school house is in the quiet street of this peaceful residential hamlet. Our breakfast was all that we could have wished for meeting our individual requirements perfectly.

What a delightful stay! From the start, communication was clear, my arrival welcomed, the accomodation so comfortable and clean and as peaceful as promised. The extra little touches, which are not yet explained, include cafetière in the room, stunning breakfast buffet in the conservatory overlooking the lovely garden and just a feeling of being 'at home'.

I stayed here with my partner and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. We had a warm and friendly welcome, felt really at ease and as we were attending a wedding, were offered a glass of wine to set us on our way! The room was very private, cosy and comfortable and the area was very quiet. We were offered lots of choice at breakfast and as hosts, Cathy and Kev made lots of effort to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly recommend this beautiful home as a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Old School House. Cathy and Kevin welcomed us into their home straight away and made us feel at home. The house was beautifully decorated and felt very cosy. The bed is super comfy! There's tea and coffee making facilities and lots of homely added extras. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for our day. You can have anything from cornflakes to a full English and Cathy puts out a wonderful selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals too. Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the garden. The surrounding village is lovely and there's a town close by with lots of shops and places to eat you can reach in 5 mins by car. Thank you both so much for a lovely stay we wish we could of stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back! xx

Great cottage perfect for our new years celebrations! Lovely and clean and Lynsey was also very nice and welcoming, would recommend Luke's in the village however it is about a 30 minute walk to the village. None the less a great stay!

We stayed in this beautiful house for a local wedding. It offers a lot of privacy for guests being part of a group in the sense that everyone has separate bed- and bathrooms and there is ample space to relax. The central area (kitchen/diner area) is a pleasant space to be in. We also enjoyed the games room a lot. The house is very clean and neat and it has a luxurious feel throughout. Iain could not be quicker and more efficient in replying to questions. Would most certainly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great time staying at the Stables at Laneham. The pictures really do not capture the charm of the place. Although we didn't get to meet Debbie and Simon (as they were on a well deserved holiday) we were very well looked after by Janet. The stable is perfect for a family of 3 (and a puppy). The outside area was beautiful and so lovely to watch the chickens (not to mention eating their eggs for breakfast). We had some memorable visits to Lincoln and Sherwood Forest. We didn't plan the timing to Cresswell Crags well, so we were unable to view the rock art (an excuse to return to the area). The highlight of our time at the stables has to be the Bees Knees pub and brewery down the road. Great beer, lovely food, friendly atmosphere and they are happy to welcome puppies!! Thanks so much for a great Airbnb rental, we recommend the place without any hesitation!

A beautiful place with lovely hosts. We stayed for one night and it was idyllic. Sensitively converted stables, with right amount of modernism. We struggled to find the place initially because the pin drop on the app isn't particularly accurate but was easily solved with one phone call. We particularly enjoyed the eggs from their own hens. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped with all the essentials, and biscuits (which I deem as essentials).

From the point of our initial enquiry to the day we left we were made to feel most welcome by Deborah and Simon. After a long journey we were met by Debbie and her husband and shown around the cottage. They kindly stocked the fridge with all the essential plus some lovely eggs from their chickens, which you can see (and hear) from the garden. They even provided a new pizza slicer which was great considering we decided to have pizza on our day of arrival. The cottage itself is lovely and bright and airy, especially the kitchen which leads on to the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed eating our breakfast outside, weather permitting. The cottage is perfectly located if you are thinking of staying in this part of the country and visiting Sherwood Forest, Lincoln, Newark and perhaps the coast as well. We would not hestitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
