“Darwin Eco-Centre - an alternative technology centre, it's also possible to rent a skateboard here and purchase wholefoods and books in the shops on site. The restaurant specialises in healthy meals from produce grown in and near the centre. Sunday brunch is particularly recommended. But book ahead! ”

“Traditionnel ou pizza, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Et la vue de la terrasse sur le toit est superbe. Parfait pour y déjeuner le midi aussi. Traditional or pizza, there is something to eat for everyone. And the view from the rooftop is superb. Perfect for lunch at noon too.”

“56 mins in the car but good fun. Built on the thermal site in Jonzac the swimming pool is big and has water slides, wave machines and a snack bar in the main pool, there is also swim out access to an outside area. The main pool can be a bit cold depending if they have done a water change but if you get an all access ticket the lazy river is well heated for kids and adults to warm up and a bit calmer for super small kids. Note: Men beware slip de bain or trunks only are permitted!!”

“Passage obligée, one comes for the breathtaking panorama but also for the atmosphere and the smile of Bernadette. The history of the restaurant Chez Hortense begins in 1914 with the great grandmother, Hortense Crampé and continues until today with Bernadette his little daughter and his great grandsons François, Olivier and Frédéric! ”
