Had a lovely stay at Paula's for one night, we were really made to feel welcome and at home. Good communication prior to arrival. Beautiful view from the house and just down the road is a beach where you can go swimming in the Lake. We went to Stonecat for our evening meal, following Paula's recommendation, which I would definitely recommend - the pulled pork is delicious!

Paula and Phil were the most gracious and hospitable hosts. Our little family felt right at home. It was a perfect getaway. We plan to return for a longer stay. The vistas of the vineyard and Lake Seneca were stunning we can't wait to return and spend some time in the local wine tasting rooms. We really lucked out when booking our stay, being it was our first Airbnb booking. If you want quiet and a slow pace this is a perfect getaway. Everything that is described in the listing is on point. You will not be disappointed.

What can I say my stay with Phil and Paula was outstanding. The room was just as expected and looked just like the pictures. The bed was the most comfortable mattress Ive ever slept on. They offered wine glasses and a corkscrew so after a long day of wine tasting me and my wife would go back to the room and have a few glasses of wine and go into the hot tub. The first night there we sat outside and watched the prettiest sunset. I am definitely staying with Paula again my wife and I would love to go in the summer time.

Paula's home was beautiful. She was an excellent host with lots of suggestions. This place is situated in one of the most beautiful places. We tried out the surrounding wineries and food places and were equally delighted. We would happily return.

Paula and her husband were very friendly and accomidating. They had a bottle of wine in the room for us and also a fridge. The room has a private entrance which was nice and they had a very nice calm dog. There was a hot tub on the outside deck with a nice view of the lake and towels. The room was a little dated, but very spacious and clean. We did miss the ability to hang out and watch tv since there was none and little else to do in the evening. This was our first experience with Airbnb and the bathroom up in there main living area and not a private bathroom, but we had no issues and felt very comfortable there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the price was reasonable compared to the area and we would stay there again. If it had been a touch warmer we would have loved to hang out at the firepit with a a great view as seen in the photo.

We were able to walk to a few wineries as well as a lovely restaurant about a half of a mile from their home. A great weekend all around! Thank you Ellen and Jeremy!

This was a charming, rustic long weekend in the Finger Lakes. We got in very late and were out exploring most of the time, so we didn't actually meet Ellen until we were leaving. But Jeremy answered our questions immediately the two times we called them. The property is tucked away, but they had given us extremely explicit directions so we found it easily in the pitch black. So dark, the stars were startling. There is even a path through a little field to a bonfire area, and one down to a really cool little creek with bathtub pool notches in it. The space is tight and cozy, but perfect for two people, and with a nice little porch on the back. It had everything we needed, except wine, which is in abundance on the road they live on with too many wineries to try. Rough life.

The Cottagette is exactly as descirbed. Perfectly cozy and clean. Ellen and Jeremy warmly greeted us as we arrived, but otherwise gave us complete privacy. We found the location to be convenient to a variety of attractions. Only wish we had more time! Would definietley stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the cottagette on our way through to a friends wedding in Ellicottville. We couldn't have been more thrilled with it. Ellen and Jeremy not only live in a fantastic place to enjoy the wine trails in the area, but their property is gorgeous and their guest house is the perfect combination of funky, and charming. Jeremy was very friendly and greeted us on arrival but otherwise, they gave us our privacy and we didn't see much of them. The guesthouse was quaint, everything we expected from the description, and just perfect for the two of us. It had all the amenities we needed and they even left us some coffee for the mornings. Ellen and Jeremy was wonderful hosts. When we arrived Jeremy was able to give us such great history about the area and things to do close by. The Cottagette is in an excellent location. Within walking distance to the Red Newt Cellar Winery, which was one of our favorites! The cottage is very warm and welcoming. we loved the vintage plates and bowls and many of the old fashion decor, it reminded both us of the comfort of being back in time and brought back warm memories of our grandparents. We would highly recommend the Cottagette for your vacation at the Finger Lakes!

Ellen and Jeremy made out stay in Hector very pleasant, and the space was perfect for what we wanted. Cozy, comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Wifi was spotty but we didn't really need it so that was fine. The property was beautiful and the location was great, in the middle of everything! Thanks for a great stay.

The renovation of this 1800s house is just lovely, and we especially enjoyed the living/kitchen/deck areas. This house is right next door to the locavore Stonecat Cafe - loved being able to walk over to the best meal we've had in a long time! We especially appreciated having our Air BnB host - Scott, the busy exec chef of the Stonecat - be so responsive to our questions. As Seneca Lake natives who know and love this area so much, we know we'll be back to Scott's place!

This is the perfect place to explore the Finger Lakes region! It is in a great location, in the middle of everything. We are really happy we stayed here. The home is exactly like the pictures, though it feels even larger in person. Everything was very clean. The deck was a great place to relax. The owner answers back immediately, though we had no problems. This is my first time using Airbnb, I felt this was a great experience and will be using it again in the future. I am very happy with this home, and would highly recommend it to anyone, families or a romantic getaway!

We had a great time at the Club Seneca Retreat. Sharon was there waiting to receive us and she provided sheets, linen and drinking water for our stay. She was very hospitable and was easily accessible over the phone to answer any questions that we had. She provided with a list of local eateries to visit. We ate at the Stone Cat Cafe which has become our favorite for the last two trips to Finger Lakes region. The cabin is a little old and rustic but aptly suits the surrounding nature. The cabin has all the amenities and the views from the large deck are breath taking. The steps to the lakefront and boat dock are a little steep but we managed (elderly ppl may require a little assistance). We kayaked, swam in the lake, barbecued, visited local wineries and had a good time. This was a nice vacation to celebrate my 40th birthday and we will definitely visit Club Seneca Retreat again.

The cabin is in a super location and we really enjoyed our time there. It was our first time to the Seneca Lake region and we will definitely be back. The lake is literally only steps away. We spent almost all of our time outside - swimming, kayaking, using the paddle boat and fishing. The deck is relaxing - we ate breakfast and played cards there. When we weren't doing those things, we went hiking in the Finger Lakes national forest, visited wineries, and breweries. So many things accessible from this location. The sunsets are beautiful to watch from the cabin's deck or the dock at the lake. We arrived 2 hours later than we thought we would. Sharon welcomed us and was so very accommodating with our arrival time. Thanks Sharon!

Sharon was great with communication leading up to our visit, and she was there waiting for us when we arrived. She set us up with plenty of drinking water, which was much appreciated given the heat we experienced. Loved the location, right on the lake. We really enjoyed breakfast on the deck, sunsets on the dock, hanging with family at the kitchen island, and kayaking in the lake. It was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Sharon is an outstanding host! She provided lots of instruction for operating the house amenities, bottled drinking water, and extra warm blankets. She made great suggestions for breakfast and other dining options. The house location was perfect for three of us, on a girl's weekend, and the view from the deck was stunning. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely to sleep to sounds of the water lapping against the shore. Would definitely stay with Sharon again.

A great place to stay if you want a laid-back holiday, or to see the wineries in the area. It's 10-15 mins driving from Watkins Glen, where there is the beautiful Watkins Glen State Park, and also a Walmart and other shops/eateries. We stayed at cabin 4 which is good for family of 3. Facilities were clean with warm showers available. Jacqueline was a gracious and patient host when dealing with our shifting arrival times, and also when there was a mixup regarding bedlinen.

Jackie is a great hostess. She met us upon our arrival and introduced us to the property. We were allowed access to the entire vineyard with our two dogs and they enjoyed it as much as we did. The winery is next door. Bought some wine and enjoyed the view of Seneca Lake. Most of all the cabin was very comfortable with a great porch. There was always a nice breeze over the lake that kept us cool throughout. It was a very pleasant experience and we hope to return soon.

Great experience! Cabin was adorable, clean, provided a spot for campfire, seating, and had a grill. The only thing that was necessary was blankets and towels. Awesome location- multiple wineries and restaurants nearby, in a walkable distance. Jacque was very accommodating and offered great suggestions. Look forward to coming back again in the future! My sister's, mother, and I stayed in the antiques cabin and were more than pleased with with the space. The room had a fridge, a two Burner stove plate, and a microwave. The location of the cabin was perfect, only about 15 min from Watkins Glenn state park and wineries/breweries all around. It was very hot when we visited but there was a nice breeze coming from the lake to keep the cabin cool at night and made sitting on the front porch very enjoyable. However, the cabin is located directly beside the road so if you are a light sleeper you might need to close the windows. The bath house was very clean, but there is only one toilet and one shower and it could get a little crowded in the mornings and at night with all the cabins being full. All in all, I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a more "camping" like experience without sleeping in a tent.

Da wir mit einem kleinen Baby unterwegs waren, dass überall herum gekrabbelt ist, entschieden wir uns, einen Tag eher abzureisen. Michael war sehr verständnisvoll und erstattete uns die eine Nacht zurück. Das war wirklich nett und hatten wir so nicht erwartet. Danke, Michael. Nebenan ist eine kleine Brauerei und das Bier war super.

It was a wonderful stay! So close to a lot of great breweries and wineries. It's an older house with some quirks, but we really enjoyed it and hope to stay there again. As others mentioned, there are steps to get into the kitchen and dining area, kinda throws you off, but easily get used to it.

We really enjoyed the Lake View house. Location is wonderful. Close to wineries and a great pub next door (but well away from the house). The view over the lake from the balcony was spectacular. House had everything you could need and Michael was exceptionally easy to deal with.

Michaels house was great for our stay. The two bedrooms on the lake are gorgeous. I stayed in the back bedroom which was very comfortable. The porch was a treat. Kitchen was great. We had a perfect stay!

The house is very specious and nice, we loved the balcony - the view is gorgeous! Parties at the next house can be pretty loud, and you can definitely hear it from the balcony, but inside the house it is quiet. We visited with 4 kids and the noise wasn't an issue. Great location -close to the beautiful Watkins Glen and Ithaca. The beer from the brewery next door was very good!

Just got back from an excellent weekend stay at Ryan's Lake View! Definitely would recommend. Getting the keys was a breeze. Plus, the decks on this house have the most AMAZING views! We would come back at night and just sit out. You could also find us out there eating breakfast and enjoying coffee. Basically, any free time when we weren't wine/beer tasting, we were out on that incredible deck. You are within walking distance to Two Goats Brewing (AWESOME live music and beers) and Atwater Vineyards. We had a fabulous stay and couldn't be happier. Thanks, Michael!

Very cute studio in a beautiful part of the Fingerlakes. There were a ton of views and wineries all along the street, and it was quick and easy to get into town and to national parks. Host was quick and helpful with any concerns and requests and even allowed us to store a few things for a few days as we traveled on for our honeymoon. Great spot.

If you want to stay in the heart of all of the fantastic fare that the eastern shore of Seneca Lake has to offer, you can't beat this location. This was a comfy, easy place to stay, within a few short miles of the best food, wine, beer and views in the area, and steps away from one of the best restaurants in the region. The studio apartment has a vintage country, yet bohemian, vibe and is nicely appointed. The kitchenette is great, with a large sink, some basic dishes, a microwave and generously sized mini-fridge. The bathroom is also very nice, with a decent-sized shower with good water pressure, lots of towels, and nice shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available in an in-shower wall-mounted dispenser. The overall feel is just warm, casual and easy. If you prefer a cushier sleep, bring an extra pillow or two - the mattress is very firm, and there were only two thin pillows provided. We thought the bed could benefit from a mattress topper and a couple extra pillows. Also, one wall is all windows, with thin translucent curtains that don't provide much privacy or light filtration. Other than those two items -- the bed and the curtains -- we had no complaints and would happily return! Thanks for making this easy lodging option available to visitors to the region!

Scott and Melissa's was perfect for what we needed it for: an extremely convenient (read: wineries in every direction) place to lay our heads after long days of tasting. Though the actual experience in the Studio could have been better (very thin walls and ceilings so we heard constant walking, ran out of hot water when two of us showered consecutively, no hairdryer in the bathroom), the location made it worth it. Plus, the Stonecat next door was a lifesaver! Amazing food and, again, extremely convenient.

My husband and I really enjoyed this cute studio apartment. Great location, close to the numerous wineries and breweries on this side of the lake (the other side would be a bit longer of a drive but we were happy just exploring one side). It's close to the National Forest as well if you like hiking. We also went into Watkins Glen for the park and dinner a few nights , around a 10 minute drive. The apt included shampoo, conditioner, etc and the 2 bottles of sparkling water in the fridge were a nice touch. There is a little road noise since this is right on the road but we got used to it pretty quickly. Some darker/heavier curtains would be nice to give you a little more privacy and block out the morning light. (For now, bring a sleep mask if you have one and are sensitive to light!) Otherwise, everything was great--and Stonecat Cafe was just as delicious as promised!

Awesome apartment in a great spot. Truly dozens of wineries and places of interest within 15 minutes in any direction. Being right on route 414 does mean that there's a bit of traffic noise, but we didn't find it offensive, and the trade-off of being so easy to get to and so close to everything is worth it. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting some places for us to check out, and provided great instructions ahead of our arrival. The folder with instructions in the apartment was also very helpful to have. The place itself is very nice, clean, and private. The bed was comfortable (with what looked like a couple of fluffy new pillows!), the bathroom is nice and up to date, and the kitchenette is nicely equipped. I do, however, have to repeat the concerns about the window treatments: they're not so bad privacy-wise during the day, but at night, you can see right into the room when the lights are on. Solution? Turn out the lights... The Stonecat Cafe also deserves a mention here: the food is amazing, and the service was even better. Dinner and brunch were both great, both in terms of food and atmosphere. Being literally right next door is almost too convenient. I can see an extended stay being hard on one's waistline. Overall, we would not hesitate to return to the Stonecat apartment... indeed, this will probably be the first place we look if/when we return to the area for another trip!

Our stay was great! It almost feels like you are "camping" in a little cabin. While there is no air conditioning there is a ceiling fan and a box fan there to keep you cooled down. The host was great with a bunch of information and responding to any questions we had. The best part about this place is the location for sure. The StoneCat is simply amazing and you are along one of lesser know areas of the finger lakes still full of great wineries and breweries. We will be back for sure!

Listing was even nicer than advertised! The property was very clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked and very comfortable. Great layout, use of space and showcases the stellar views of the lake and property! Perfect size for a couple or small family. Location is terrific as home base for day trips or simply walking to a nearby winery or brewery. Nice outdoor amenities including shared fire pit, picnic tables and BBQ grills.

My fiance and I enjoyed a great weekend getaway at Villa B! The house is well appointed and has everything you could possibly need for a quick trip. The space was extremely clean, bright, and smelled like new. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the greatest when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit or outdoor space, but we did enjoy the view of Seneca Lake from the upstairs porch. There are multiple wineries, two breweries, a distillery, a gas station, and a nice restaurant within a 10 minute drive. It's also really easy to get to Watkins Glen and the other side of the lake where there are even more wineries. I would definitely stay in this villa again!

All good things to say about this place! It's a home away from home! Very well stocked, clean, quiet, and we like the privacy of the villa. Close to vineyards and love the view of the lake and the setting sun. Nice way to end the day with a glass of wine.

My two sisters and I had an amazing time at this Villa. It was exactly what we imagined. It fit us comfortably and gave us amazing views of the lake. It is in a quiet area, so if you go for a run, you will be surrounded by nature (lambs) and farms. The fire pits were used every night and so was the grill. Nothing like hamburgers and smores. Rico was very accommodating and answered all our questions. The binder that was left for us gave us numbers to wine tour drivers and enjoyed our saturday sipping wine for 5 hours. It was a great place for a relaxing family get away or friend get away.

We truly enjoyed the vineyard villas! The place is adorable, has a great view, super comfortable, clean and was quiet. The location was absolutely perfect and within just a few miles of everything we wanted to do. We can't wait to get back!
