Franky was the perfect host. He communicated well throughout the process and gave really good information on the local area. The location and accommodations was perfect for my adventurous family of four. We enjoyed our stay by exploring the Bruce Peninsula, by day coming back to the peaceful and beautiful sites of the back yard while using the gas barbecue to cook and unwind by the water. After dinner we would drive to the west side of the peninsula to Sauble Beach and the kids enjoyed the water while we watched the sunset. We visited all around the Bruce Peninsula but Highlights for us were: The backyard with the pristine landscape and crystal clear water. Inglis Waterfall in Owen Sound Sauble Beach sunsets Canoeing on Cameron Lake to Cypress Lake, then hiking to the Grotto where we all swam in the clear, refreshing, brisk, aquamarine waters of the Georgian Bay. (Reminded us of the Caribbean just chillier) Taking the glass bottom boat tour to Flowerpot Island and seeing the shipwrecks Hiking Flowerpot island and watching our two sons enjoy jumping of the 10 foot high rock next to the large flowerpot. (Their bravery for the cool water was contagious to the other visitors) The speedboat ride back to the Peninsula was a nice change of pace from our relaxed vacation. We would recommend staying at the "Taste of Water" for a family that enjoys nature and exploring.

Franky is a very good host. His place is very beautiful, right along the water. Amazing views, beautiful sunrises, great place to relax. The house is equipped with everything, we had a campfire as well as a BBQ. Kids loved it! We will definitely come again.

The location of the proprietor is quiet and the environment is beautiful. The 24-hour supermarket is just a 15-minute drive away and the Tobermory is about an hour's drive away. Early summer can only see the stars in the back garden lake stars.

Lion's Head Bahay is a lovely place to stay. There's a beautiful garden and patio, and the home is clean and comfortable. Tim was very helpful and gave us recommendations for places to go. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic long weekend at Sweet 1. The location is amazing to explore the Bruce Peninsula. We enjoyed hiking.kayaking and touring on the Harley taking in the beautiful scenery. The place was very clean, cozy and comfortable with all the conveniences needed for a perfect getaway. It is a good place to stay.

Excellent location, close to Bruce trail which runs almost right behind the property. 45 mins to Tobermory and lots of trails in between (i.e. Lion's Head). Simple, well equipped older apartment above the candy store, which carries more than candy. A variety of coffee selections, fudges, preserves. They have a lovely patio! The apartment was very comfortable for the three of us - 2 in the queen size bed in the bedroom and one on the sofa bed in the living room. It was a bit cold in the evening when the temperature dropped outside. The bedroom had a really warm duvet, and we brought a extra blanket that we used for the sofabed (a light blanket was provided) Towels, bedsheets provided, kitchen w coffee machine, microwave, stove, fridge. Bring a cutting board, oil, spices etc if you want to cook, and coffee to brew - but you can also buy that at the store. 24 hrs Foodland around the corner has everything you need! Communication with hosts was good. They are always in the candy store downstairs if you need them, or just text message them. Parking is behind the building but you can stop out front to load/unload so you don't have to haul stuff from behind the building. There is a good flight of stairs to consider for the elderly or with limited mobility. We had a great stay, I definitely recommend it.

Joan's place is in a really great location to be able to explore Wiarton and the surrounding area. We stayed here and travelled up to Tobermory and Lions Head for days out. The place was clean and cozy. Definitely a great place to stay. We would return.

We were delighted with Joan's place. Super-clean and comfortable with everything we could possibly need.We chose Wiarton as a jumping-off point to see as much as possible between Sauble Beach and Tobermory. It was perfect for that, though the Wiarton lakefront, just a block from Joan's place, turned out to be one of our favorite spots.

Wir waren absolut begeistert von Kevin und Cheryl zu Hause. Das Gerät ist schön und die Fotos online tun es nicht gerecht. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und Kevin war sehr großzügig und hilfsbereit, uns Tipps für Orte anbieten zu wandern und essen und Check-in, um zu sehen, ob wir Hilfe nötig mit etwas. Wir empfehlen diesen entspannenden Ort (über den See!) Und hoffen, einen Tag wieder zurück zu sein.

Toller Ort innerhalb einer kurzen Fahrstrecke von allem, was in Bruce County. Absolut schön mit der Privatsphäre und alles dekoriert man braucht. Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft, wenn Sie die Chance bekommen, wenn Sie hier kommen zu planen.

Wir wollten eigentlich in diese Wohnung zu bewegen, es war so toll! Sie wieder völlig unabhängig, aber Kevin und Cheryl sind nur ein Klopfen weg, wenn Sie etwas brauchen! Auch diese sind so hilfsbereit und freundlich! Couldnt haben für einen besseren Ort gebeten, zu bleiben, um die Bruce-Halbinsel zu erkunden. Wir kommen wieder.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt in einem schönen Appartement. Wir genossen dieses schöne Hotel in einer ruhigen Gegend neben Miller Lake. This might be one of the nicest places I've stayed at. Loved the decor and spaciousness.

We needed a place to stay that was close to the Cobble Beach Resort as we were photographing a wedding there. This was SO much easier then staying in Owen Sound and driving to the resort as Pam's place is way closer. It was so nice to have a place like home so close by so when the wedding was over we had somewhere to relax that felt just like home.

Thank you Pam, we had such a comfortable and restful evening! Very quite and cozy little place, would definitely visit again :) The host was super responsive and quick to take care of everything we needed!

From the moment I booked Pam's place, she stayed in constant contact, willing to answer all questions and arranging for our arrival. We were met at their house by Pam's husband, Joe who made us feel very welcome and assuring us that if we needed anything, not to hesitate to ask them. As far as the description of the place, it was everything that she described. It was well-appointed and everything we needed to cook the food that we brought, was at hand. The bed and sofa were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome! Pam even threw a couple of bags of ice in the freezer once she saw we had brought a cooler for picnicking in the area. There was beach towels in the closet for us to use and she even stocked the fridge with some milk, a couple of beers from a local brewery and some fruit. We thought that our view from outside our door was going to be a bit more than it was, but they offered us to go up on their deck, (this unit is a basement apartment) which was very hospitable but from the title of this property, we thought we'd see more of the bay from just outside the place we stayed in. The neighbourhood is very nice and sparsely populated. The area down by the water that we had access to was exactly what you'd expect to see close to the water's edge of the Georgian Bay/Owen Sound Bay. The walk to the water where Pam's neighbourhood has access is a five-minute walk. Pam is new to AirBnB and is eager to do whatever she has to do to make her guests happy and enjoy the beautiful area she lives in. We think that Pam's place is a great value.

The apartment was a perfect get-away from the city. Everything was as Pam described in the listing. The house is in a quiet (except for the crickets!) neighborhood close to the water, with plenty of stars. Everything was clean and comfortable and Pam made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend.

We spent 4 amazing days at Saubl beach and made this clean and comfortable apartment our home away from home. There is plenty of space for a family of 4 and the location was ideal for walking to the main strip and beach. Laura was always available to answer questions and very accommodating of our needs for early check in and late check out which we greatly appreciated. than you Laura.

The apartment is very spacious and in a great location just a couple of blocks from Sauble Beach. All the necessities are here and Laura was very easy to communicate with. There are a few minor items that could use some TLC (a few of the sheets, the double bed, a rattling bathroom fan, and the window handles) but nothing major. The master bedroom, including the queen bed and huge bathroom, is excellent.

This was a great find for our last minute beach vacation! Located within view of a grocery store and LCBO and just far enough away from the beach to allow for a quiet place to unwind. You will probably want to drive to the beach (otherwise, pack light, and its definitely walkable.) Adequately appointed, with a nice big deck and bbq.

The place was beautifully decorated and welcoming and much bigger than in the pictures! We had a great time spending the weekend here. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the main beach strip which was great because we weren't too far but far enough that it was peaceful and quiet. We had an amazing stay here! You can see Lake Huron from bed every morning and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. At night, it's extremely quiet and the beds are comfortable so you're going to sleep very well. It's equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Well worth the money! We stayed an extra night because this place is just that amazing.

Larysa's place is well organized and maintained. In spite of my critical nature, I can't pick on anything. She is extremely nice and accommodating, always ready to help us in every way. The sunset is so lovely, and the lake is so clear. We were so drawn into it that we forgot setting up a fire that she had prepared. Can not wait to visit again in the near future.

We spent a week at Larysa's and we enjoyed it entirely. The place is private and allows for a very relaxing vacation. The lake Huron waters are a short 100 metres walk over a rocky area. While the waterfront is rocky as most of the area it is still enjoyable. There are numerous Bruce Peninsula attractions just a short 15 to 25 minutes drive. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic time here! The apartment is beautiful and has amazing views of the water. We particularly enjoyed the patio with barbecue. The kayaks were a great way to explore the sound. Lillian and her family were so kind and accommodating for our stay. You can tell that they are very proud of their place and love sharing it with others. We will definitely be back!

Lillian's place was great. We stayed there for two nights with two small children. All the basics were there that we needed, and more (Lillian has stocked tin foil and plastic Tupperware containers which came in handy). There were even children plates! We went canoeing too, which was quite fun. Overall a relaxing and fun time!

Lillian and her husband are wonderful hosts. I don't always use the app and sometimes receive text messages, the whole address was cut off so I was looking for the wrong place which was completely MY fault! As someone who travels often I have never stayed in a home where everything you could possibly need or want was provided. I will definitely be back again. There aren't enough words describe the dwellings as well as kind hosts.

Lilian was a great host and has a beautiful place. The basement has been remodeled into a 2 bedroom apartment (and there may be more to come). It was well designed and the furnishings were very nice. It's directly on the water and I wish we had planned more time in Owen Sound to enjoy the location. We caught one beautiful sunset over the bay though! Lilian was very easy to communicate with and gave great directions to get there while a main road is under construction. She also provided coffee for the coffee maker, which was really nice to have in the morning as we looked out on the bay.

Ich bin 6'3" ohne Schuhe und in ein paar Bereich aus Angst, meinen Kopf hämmern zu bücken brauchte. Jede ähnlichen Höhe oder höher und das Tragen von Schuhen werden hart gedrückt werden, um zu gehen, ohne zu verbiegen ... oder Leiden eine Gans-Ei. Der Ofen, im Schlafzimmer ist noch durch eine Zugangstür getrennt war ziemlich laut, Ohrenstöpsel mitbringen. Virginia scheint wie eine schöne Frau und ihre Suite befindet sich in einem ruhigen Viertel von Owen Sound noch in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Stadt schön gelegen.

Gail, Elvin and Sammy the dog are great hosts. Your place is truly magical, and our dogs Fergus and Molly loved every minute as much as we did. Looking forward to coming back next season!

Just back from a mini-break with my hubby and 2 kids (2,5). Gail was wonderful and her hubby even let the kids feed the horses and took us for a carriage ride. Was awesome! Appreciate Gail taking the time to set up little cots for the boys so we could all sleep in same room. Lovely little suite! Nice and clean, 20 mins from Sauble where we took a day trip to. Boys also loved jumping off the dock at Gail's, just need water shoes. Lovely time, thank you to the gracious hosts xo

The place was really cute and nice. Perfect for someone who is looking for cottage vibe. Family who lives downstair was really nice. They gave us wagon ride in the morning around their farm!! It was such a great experience. Very friendly and kind host!! Recommend this place if you want to get away from the city life and relax :)

L'appartement est exactement comme sur les photos. Le loft est bien équipé et est décoré des peintures de Jean qui sont magnifiques. Nous allons y retourner c'est certain. Superbe endroit pour passer une fin de semaine relaxante. Tous les services sont à une distance de marche du loft.

This loft apartment studio was a great place for us to stay for three nights in Owen Sound. The location is great because it’s within walking distance to shopping, food, art, nature, and more. The location is convenient and easy to get in and out of. Even though it is in an urban area and there was heavy downtown traffic over the weekend with some of the streets closed off, we still found it to be very easy to get through town in our vehicle. The courtyard is lovely, filled with beautiful summer flowers and herbs. From the moment that we stepped through the front door we were graced with wonderful art throughout that we greatly enjoyed. The décor was beautiful and comfortable, some items repurposed in an artistic and functional manner. There was plenty of room and we enjoyed the great living spaces and everything was very clean and neat. The balcony off the back that overlooks the river was relaxing to visit while we watched people in canoes and kayaks passing by. There is also a grill on the deck as well and at night I would step out to view the stars. The kitchen was set up well and we enjoyed preparing several meals. Jean left bread, berries, milk, and eggs for us which was very thoughtful. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There was a place for us to hang our clothes and with lots of space it was easy to keep our things put away and enjoy the loft. The claw foot tub was pleasant to shower in and the bathroom was nicely laid out. Downstairs was the artist studio and here we found lots of maps and printed information about the surrounding area. We enjoyed several events downtown as well as local hiking trails and waterfalls (Ingliss Falls are amazing). We were also in town for a family reunion and I must say, I think all our relatives were jealous of our lodging – we were lucky to have found such a gem. I would definitely recommend Jean’s place and we hope to come back the next time we visit Owen Sound.

Notre séjour à l'appartement de Jean était très agréable. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était disponible. L'appartement spacieux est extrêmement fonctionnel à tous égards et tout fonctionne correctement. En particulier, le lit était très confortable. Les alentours sont parfaits avec une petite rivière qui coule d'un côté et de la verdure partout ailleurs. Jean a généreusement fourni un pain de Ace Bakery et un bloc de beurre frais avec des instructions pour utiliser tous les condiments dont nous avions besoin. Le plus réfléchi! Nous reviendrons certainement si nous décidons de visiter de nouveau la région d'Owen Sound.

This was a fantastic place. Full of charm and creative inspiration. Perfect spot to explore around Owen Sound. Would love to come back with my painting supplies.

Beautiful space that felt like home. Very clean and cared for. We loved our stay in Owen Sound and a part of that was having such a great space to "come home" to each day. Jean is a caring host! We'd love to stay here again.

Jean's place was absolutely perfect. I was in town for a weekend for work and I couldn't of picked a better central location. She has everything you need and was amazing to communicate with. Her sense of creativity and style shows throughout the whole place and I LOVED every bit of decor and art. Such a unique place. I want to live there haha I hope to stay here again!

Jenna's apartment is spacious and clean, and its location is fantastic for going to the Saturday market, and exploring the historic downtown area. We particularly enjoyed a couple of live music venues nearby, and it's a short walk to Casero Kitchen Table, a great restaurant. Jenna was very pleasant and responsive to our queries.

Jenna was a great host! She gave plenty of suggestions on activities to do near her area. Her home was very comfortable and close to a lot of amneties. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed a lovely, relaxing weekend with my wife and 8 year old son. The home was very clean and comfortable, located in a scenic and quite residential neighbourhood. Very short drive to all the nice things that Southampton has to offer.

We had a lovely quiet stay, and loved the relaxing atmosphere of this little town. The kitchen was well equipped for our breakfasts, and there were nice little brochures layed out for ideas of what to do and see in the nearby areas. The living room also has a DVD player and some movie options that were great when we were waiting for the rain to stop to go out, but the cable TV isn't reliable as it worked on and off. The one thing I would mention is this is a basement apartment, so bringing warm socks or slippers might be a good idea for those who are prone to getting cold feet. All in all we enjoyed a good stay for the purpose of escaping busy city life, thank you to the hosts!

This was a great location to stay. Nice clean house, great outside space and enjoy the summer. We had everything we needed.

A charming apartment on a beautiful street, only a couple minute drive to downtown Southampton. It was extremely clean and very quiet with all the amenities. They even left a welcome note with some movie snacks. The communication was great... they were very responsive to questions/texts before and during our stay.

We had a wonderful time at Anne's place. Anne and Paul are great hosts. We felt very welcomed and comfortable in the space and loved how it was a close walk to the beach and to the Main Street and shops. Anne and Paul were helpful when we had questions and told us of local events that were happening during our stay which enriched our time in Southampton.
