“For the more adventurous, a climb to the top of Saddle Rock is a must. 1.5 miles of steep dirt road will bring you to an amazing view of the entire Wenatchee Valley. Make sure to dress appropriately and bring water as necessary!”

After your walk around the private grounds make sure to stop in at O'Gradys Pantry for a quick lunch and drinks while browsing thru the cute gift shop! ”

“One of Leavenworth's best kept secrets. A great place for a long quiet walk or a leisurely bike ride. Just a hop skip and a jump from the hubbub of downtown Leavenworth. Trails are open year round.”

“The Leavenworth Skate Park in Enchantment Park is sure to enchant skaters of all levels. The skate park offers a wide range of terrain for skaters, scooter enthusiasts, and BMX riders, including a six foot deep Bavarian themed bowl and a variety of street features (hand rails, boxes, a Euro gap, and more). All of these treasures can be found under the beautiful foliage of the trees that line Enchantment Park. The Leavenworth Pump Track is particularly unique. This asphalt-covered track is a new innovation, built by Vesosolutions, a Swiss-based company specializing in these asphalt pump courses. Located in Enchantment Park. ”

“The best local spot for sledding. But be aware you need to book on line ahead of time and get a parking pass and get there early as it can fill up on weekends and holidays”

“A great family hike for older children, say 9 years or older. Wild flowers and berries on the slopes, and then a fun lake to skip stone at. You will then be able to go home, bragging that you have hiked a section of the Pacific Crest Trail.”

“A bit less of a scramble than Saddle Rock Trail. Good views, but drive to it is on gravel road. Low clearance vehicles should not attempt the drive. Beautiful hills covered in sage. Excellent views of the Wenatchee valley and surrounding mountains. Short 1 mile treks to longer 6+ mile hikes. Fairly easy terrain except access to the trailhead parking lot is via a dirt road for the last 3 miles.”

“This is a great recreational area for anything from running, biking, walking, water sports and more. Walla Walla Point park is a great jump off point for the Wenatchee Loop trail (11 Mi) that goes from bridge to bridge on both sides of the river. If you are looking for one of the classic icon areas of the valley, this is it!”
