“It's a public garden that sells coffee, beer and pizza. Sometimes you can find DJs playing. ”

“Highly desirable and perfectly lovely... Through the back is a smart dining room looking over the compact but peaceful garden; but you can eat in the pub too, and you should. The food’s far better than the usual pub grub, and pleasingly avoids the seen-it-all-before US diner stuff. Instead, it ranges from Jersey oysters to more complex dishes such as courgette and butter-bean cassoulet or lamb’s liver with green sauce. ”

“Regent's canal is great to walk along as there are small cafes, pubs and restaurants along the way and lots of interesting things to see. ”

Friedhof
“A cemetery from the 1600's where you'll find the graves of Nonconformists like William Blake, Daniel Defoe and John Bunyan. They have guided tours every Wednesday form April to October, but otherwise just pick up a leaflet and explore, or just enjoy the community garden.”

Botanical Garden
“One of my favourite beautiful places in London. Take the Central Line to Liverpool Street and walk up. The Conservatory is only open some Sundays in the year, so check first, but even if it's not open Barbican estate is a beautiful place to walk around for the architecture and the cinema, art gallery and other cultural experiences”

“Many buses from Clapton Pond to Victoria Park, Islington, Covent Garden. Hackney Central good to go to Highbury Islington for the Victoria line.”

“There's an unmarked entrance to Regent's Canal where Colebrooke Row and Duncan Terrace meet. It's ideal for a morning run, as well as a leisurely walk when sunny (or snowy), brimming with canal boats and a few pubs and cafes en route. This is one of the most scenic ways to get to places like Haggerston and Broadway Market. ”

“Side walk the Regent's Canal up to Victoria Park. Views to the City (the Shard Tower and Others). Access though the gate in front of zebra cross. Nice during summer for jogging.”
