I would like to share my passion for classical music and dive into the world of Viennese classical music together with you for one evening. Together with my colleagues, we as Mozart Ensemble Vienna play impressive pieces of Viennese classical music. Be enchanted by the world of classical music and immerse yourself mentally in the time in which the great masters of Viennese classical music worked! There is no better place for this than the Sala Terrena, where our concerts take place. The Sala Terrena is the oldest concert hall in Vienna and serves as a perfect atmosphere to put us into the time of Mozart, Schubert or Beethoven. At the time, Mozart himself played in this historic place and earned his living for his first apartment in Vienna. The Sala Terrena, which is only a few minutes' walk away from St. Stephen's Cathedral, also impresses with its beautiful frescos with late venetian renaissance style. Hi, please come in the Singerstrasse 7. The concert is not in the Mozart museum. The main entrance is in front of Singerstrasse 10 (is a big haus and they are two entrances.) After a short ride from Vienna, we arrive at the ravine Steinwandklamm, where we have to pay a small entrance fee* and start our hike. We wander through the romantic gorge by crossing wooden bridges and a little cave on top of it. From there we continue through a forest and to a plateau with a magnificent view of the Schneeberg, the highest mountain of Lower Austria. From the plateau, we take a quiet forest path until we reach the beginning of the Myra waterfalls. We follow the for a while before climbing up a rather steep hill. After having mastered the sweaty ascent, we will be rewarded with a beautiful view from the summit into the valley and onto the surrounding hill chains. Our way leads us downhill and uphill again in gentle curves on a country road. We pass beautiful pastures and if we are lucky, may spot some cows or horses before we get back to the starting point. True countryside feeling just an hour away from Vienna! Duration approx. 3 hours. Length: 9 km/6 mi. Highest point: 720 m. Elevation gain/loss: +430 m/-440 m. *Please note: the entry fee of EUR 7,-- (maintenance of the gorge) is extra and payable directly at the entrance. The hike is of medium difficulty. Walking time is about 3 hours. Please make sure to wear proper hiking gear, especially sturdy shoes with a good grip are essential. Price transparency: The price includes 20% commission for Airbnb.

This is one of the oldest trails to the Rax mountain plateau. The founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, used to climb the Rax mountain on this trail several times a week. We start our hike on an easy forest road with the Rax massif in front of us. Soon, the road turns into a narrow and steep trail. In the beginning, the path is mostly in the forest, but after gaining some height, we enjoy stunning views into the valley. The last part of the trail is very rocky. After 2 hours we reach the plateau of the Rax mountain, enjoying fantastic views into the surrounding valleys and the neighbouring Schneeberg peak. We take some time to explore the plateau and have a look into the valleys north of the mountain as well. After a well-deserved break at the mountain hut we make our way downhill to the starting point. Duration: approx. 4.5 hours Elevation gain/loss: 1.079m/1064m Lowest point: 779 m Highest point: 1.734 m Distance: approx. 13 km/8 mi. IMPORTANT: please only book this tour if you are an experienced mountain hiker and are familiar with alpine trails. You must have very good physical fitness level. Proper hiking equipment, especially hiking boots are mandatory for participation! Travel time from Vienna to the starting point: approx. 1.5h one way. Free lift to the starting point. Hidden passageways used as shortcuts by the locals will take us into picturesque courtyards and tranquil side streets. This tour is about oddities, quirky stories of the city's past and the beauty of Vienna beyond the main attractions. We start on its most Italian "piazza" and will amongst others marvel at some fine Baroque illusional painting, visit the place where Mozart got a kick in his gifted backside and stroll through the former Jewish heart of Vienna. We look at the city's most famous doorway and discover Beethoven's neighborhood. Finally, the "Muse who's had it" will introduce us to Vienna's scientific heart and academic hall of fame. Always walking the most charming alleys along the way we'll stay off the big tourist tracks. The tour ends at the main university of Vienna. All tours are held in English.
