This was one of my favourite experiences on Airbnb, the listing has everything you need and the scenery is breathtaking. I spent nearly a week at this listing with my Girlfriend and we arrived late in the evening, Tom, Rosie and Adam greeted us warmly and we felt right at home instantly. My parents were visiting the area also and Tom & Rosie were very accommodating and allowed them to stay with us for one night. Tom & Rosie are very knowledgable of the area and have fantastic tips and advise, it was truly an excellent overall experience. I will definitely be returning for a visit again!!

This is simply beautiful ! High on the hill overlooking Loch Derg , a great place to relax. Rosie warmly welcomed us with tea & scones and didn't bat an eyelid about us arriving 2 hours early. Wake up to a superb view in a really comfy bed.

Tom & Rosie were absolutely incredible! Their hospitality reached above expectations. They greeted us with smiles, coffee, history & information we wouldn't have had otherwise. Their suggestions for attractions near by were amazing! Our trip to Co. Clare would not have been the same without them! They were helpful & friendly and we couldn't have asked for more! The views were awe-striking and the place was cozy. The only negative is that it made the rest of our honeymoon seem blah in comparison to our lovely stay there. We loved their dog and kitties too! Awesome, sweet people with a beautiful home. We would definitely stay again!

Our experience at Tom and Rosie's was absolutely wonderful. We went to Ireland for our honeymoon and the studio was perfect. We had a gorgeous view all times of day, from sunrise to sunset to the middle of the night. The room itself was very cozy and the bed was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom had a super luxurious shower and a wonderful Jacuzzi tub. Rosie, Tom and Adam were all very kind and helpful with ideas of things to visit as we took our day trips. They are extremely hospitable, warm, kind people and made us feel special on our stay. Thank you for making our honeymoon so wonderful :)

Tom was incredibly welcoming, as was Adam, his son. Rosie was not around when we arrived but we met her later and she too is lovely. The accommodation is absolutely wonderful. Spotlessly clean & luxurious. The view over the lake is amazing. The jacuzzi and all other facilities were fabulous. Catering for our special diets was no trouble at all. It seemed like nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This was just what we needed to make our arrival in Ireland so easy and relaxing.

I don't think it's humanly possible to wax lyrical enough about Tom and Rosie's studio. it's SO beautiful, clean, impeccably well-maintained, luxurious (there's a jacuzzi for goodness sake), and there's loads of privacy if you want it too. the VIEW from the bedroom is of the lake, fields and mountains; it's a view that I wish I could wake up to every morning. their bed is just right as well - not too firm, not too soft. in fact, their place was so comfy that my friend and I decided to simply take it easy during our two nights there, just so we could enjoy the stay at their place. the breakfast items are very generous too. there's enough cereal, yoghurt, hams, bread, cheese, jams, milk to last your stay, and it's obvious that Tom and Rosie paid special attention to making sure you don't lack for anything. Tom and Rosie themselves - WOW, they simply reminded me of Airbnb when it first started, when Airbnb was all about interacting with the local so that you get local tips and live like a local. they're ever so friendly, and despite our late arrival (purely our fault as we underestimated the driving time), they stayed up so that they could welcome us with tea and cakes! and they proceeded to give us all the tips and info they had about sights and surrounding attractions. they're so well-informed and know the area like the back of their hands! and have I mentioned the friendliest yet? Rosie and Adam (their son) was even nice enough to hang out and chat over tea with us before we left. Rosie also showed us her art gallery; what a talented lady! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you were in the limerick area. I know I would 100% return to their place if I visit Ireland in future. thank YOU, Tom and Rosie, for helping us have such a relaxing time. we definitely erased all our sleep debt and loved getting to know you. as always, my personal highlight was getting to play with their house pets. I am legit in love with their dog and three cats now! :D and THAT VIEW, did I already mention that?! ;)

Rosie and Tom.. they are so kind and helpful couple,they invited us for a tea and gave us lots of great tips about the area and so much more,they are the best host we have ever came across. we had an amazing time there,the studio is so charming and stylish and the views are just breathtaking! we were so relaxed there its like a therapy for us what we needed so much. Really could not recommend highly enough. We were greeted with a smile and a beautifully restored stone cottage with fantastic views of the surrounding area. We really could not have been more welcomed and it was the perfect cottage for a few days away for our family. There is a great pub about 800m down the road which serves a good pint and the food looked good (we did not try). We will certainly be back again and hopefully for longer than a few days.

Killaloe est un village charmant et surtout cette localisation nous a permis de visiter de nombreux endroits d'Irlande avec nos 2 enfants (8 et 5 ans) : les falaises de Moher, Galway, le Connemara, Limerick, le parc national de Killarney, Kilkenny. Le cottage est bien adapté pour une famille de 4 ou 5. Le petit plus : la cheminée avec le bois à disposition que nous allumions tous les soirs en rentrant de nos balades. Fred et Monica sont des hôtes charmants, toujours disponibles mais également très discrets. Nous recommandons cette location.

A splendid stay in Deerpark. A beautiful old-world cottage with modern comforts and style! A very creative mix. The pictures don't do it justice! Comfortable and cosy bedrooms. The wood-burning stove is very welcoming in November. A lovely welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk and biscuits was waiting on arrival-a special touch.The kids loved the atmosphere with plenty of nooks and crannies and a cupboard of toys and games to entertain. Beautiful scenery and view of Loch Derg.Our dogs enjoyed the run of the four acres. Pipers restaurant is a must and only a short walk away. Fred and Monica made us feel so welcome and are both very creative. This property is a labour of love for them and their property deserves to be booked out 365/year. We will definately return.

Fred and Monica made us feel very welcome with some little goodies and milk when we arrived, which was great, because we were behind schedule and the kids were hungry. The cottage was perfect for our family. Looks just like it does in the pictures and is on a beautiful piece of land so close to a breathtaking lake. The hosts were perfectly welcoming and available, but didn't infringe on our privacy at all. They offered helpful suggestions and let our children play with their very friendly dog. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the house was clean and well put together. The location was great, close to Killaloe which is a very charming little town with lots of history. Great place to be based for a few days while we explored lovely Ireland. This cottage was perfect for us, and well within our price range. Great value for the money. Thank you! We hope to come back sometime!

Our hosts were fabulous- we booked at super short notice yet everything was prepared and immaculate when we arrived. We had many lovely chats with Fred and Monica throughout our 3-day stay. The cottage was spotless (no, we didn't find any cobwebs, Fred!), warm, bright and perfect for our stay with a 4 and 6-year-old. The kids loved exploring the surroundings and running around the house. Everything was just as described when we booked but actually exceeded our expectations. We didn't know the area well (we're based in Dublin) and loved the lush and green surroundings, enjoyed a trip to Spanish Point and the Cliffs of Moher, visited Bunratty Castle and had a great boat trip on our last day before heading back. We'd highly recommend staying with Fred and Monica!

Das Zimmer/Badezimmer sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wunderschön gelegen direkt am See. Frühstück gab es auch! Begrüßungs-Tee mit Jan fand ich ebenfalls sehr nett. Zimmer hatte leider keinen Schlüssel, ansonsten alles vorhanden, inkl. Küchenmitbenutzung.

It was a lovely stay at Jan´s place. The only negative aspect was the weather... No swimming for us. But the view was great from the garden. Jan was very helpful. Breakfast on the first morning after we slept in. Scrambled eggs on our last morning. And sleeping was so relaxed in the private room with en suite bathroom. Finding the place was not difficult after Jan´s explanation. Driving away was a bit scary at the start but Jan gave us a good idea which made the turn on the main road a lot safer.

The placebos exactly what we needed, we wanted to run away from the city for a few days. It is a lovely converted barn, very Cousy and close to the village. Noce pub at walking distance. Iseault was very welcoming: due to work we checked in late and she made sure we had tea, coffee and the essential for a quick breakfast the morning after

Iseult was a fantastic host. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable with all the amenities that we would need. We were at a wedding in a nearby venue and we were able to walk home in the evening with no problems. I would definitely recommend Willow Cottage.

Our host Tom was amazing with the most thorough directions to the house and great communication at all steps. And Rosie, our hostess, was such a delight! Rosie had tea and cake ready for us and was so fun and easy to hang out with; she even offered to drive us to and pick us up from the local pub. We feel like we made a new friend in Rosie.

The best Airbnb experience to date! I can't say enough about the gorgeous view, the comfortable and homey space and the thoughtfulness of Tom and Rosie. My only regret is not staying longer. This was the best place to stay fantastic welcome from Tom and Rosie a high tea with great local produce. Fantastic views over the countryside to Loch Deargh even in the misty rain. The apartment was very comfortable great big bed and everything we needed. We will certainly be recommending this one.

My wife, Roz and I had the most enjoyable stay of our Ireland adventure so far at Tom & Rosie's accommodation. We were treated as old friends and they both went well out of their way to make our stay something special, which it certainly was. From the afternoon tea, through to the very comfortable and well stocked apartment and on to the great afternoon conversations over a few drinks, this visit had it all. The area around Killaloe is also brilliant. We only have one genuine regret .... that we didn't book for longer. We will next time. Thank you Tom & Rosie.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's garden apartment! The apartment was spacious,clean, well-provisioned and has the most amazing lake view. Tom and Rosie went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had clear directions and the comforts we appreciated. They welcomed us so warmly and guided us to both the well known sites and to hidden locations most tourists wouldn't see. They directed us to a variety of sites, which pleased each person in our family. The apartment is private and quiet. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen, ruhigen Aufenthalt in wundervoller Lage mit direkten Blick auf den Lough Derk. Man fühlt sich geborgen und wohlig :-)! Die malerische Landschaft ist ein Traum. Empfehlenswert ist ein Auto, gar ein Muss, wenn man Irland "entdecken" möchte. Zum nächsten Spar Markt und zur Tankstelle ist es nicht weit und auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Absolut klasse für Menschen, die zur Ruhe kommen möchten. Eine tolle Wanderroute ist direkt in der Nachbarschaft. Jo und Diana sind so tolle und liebe Gastgeber!!! Das Haus ist klasse, mit Holzfußboden...und großen Fenstern zum Lough Derk! Eine super ausgestatte Küche. Uns hat es an absolut gar nichts gefehlt. We (2 couples) had a great time in the beautiful house of Jo. The house is very beautiful, cozy, spacious, clean and it has also an amazing view. Therefore it has everything you need and more. Jo had organized eggs, bread, milk and butte for our first breakfast. That was very nice. We were very happy about that. I would recommend the house at any time. Thank you Jo!

A great holiday home. Amazing views of Lough Derg. Home very pleasant and clean. Great fire place. Large vaulted ceiling to house, two bathrooms. Photos do not really show how nice the house is. Internet fast enough for Netflix film streaming. Very well equiped kitchen.

This house suited us perfectly , great space for two small children with beautiful views of lough Derg. It really was a home away from home . So comfy and cosy , my girls loved it. It allowed us own own private quite space near to family and friends which made Christmas visiting easy . Dina was extremely helpful in helping us to settle in and Jo provided all of the infromation necessary when travelling with two small ones. We will most certainly use this house again .

We stayed at Jo's place for a long weekend with our baby daughter. The weather was horrendous for the most part but we were cosy inside with the lovely fire. When the rain cleared we got to enjoy the amazing views. The house is lovely & very well equipped. We brought our android box which I would recommend as the tv reception is temperamental but the wifi signal is good for streaming. Overall we'd a lovely stay & would recommend for a quiet break

A superb stay in an idyllic setting. Marie and Paul made me very welcome and did all they could to make my stay enjoyable with nice touches like a snack on arrival and a lift down to the pub being the extras that make AirBNB so great compared to hotels. My room was light and clean and warm with a lake view and the duvet super snug. My full Irish breakfast set me up for the day ahead perfectly. Highly recommended.

It's a lakeside cottage in a very green area, with all the amenities for a wonderfully relaxing stay. Hosts Fred and Monica were oustanding. We felt at home with friends. They are an amazing couple with a wealth of projects and activities they share with others. The home was full of nice details to make life easier and more comfortable and all our 4 boys (13 to 19) had a great time.

Very picturesque and peaceful cottage with all the amenities. Fred and Monica were lovely and helped us with local advice about the surrounding areas, making our trip much more than it could have been! Plenty of space with a enjoyable living room and a wood stove to enjoy the evening away.

Our stay in this farmhouse was just perfect. We were attending a wedding in AnnaCarriga Estate and this was just a stones throw away. The house was so cosy and warm we could have stayed there much longer than 2 nights. Iseult was the perfect host. She had a fire lit for us when we arrive and met us at the door. There was plenty of information about local activities and amenities. We will definitely be back here and i would recommend it to anyone that just wants to kick back for a few days or to go walking in one of the most scenic places I have had the pleasure of staying in.

What a beautiful, charming space! Iseult was kind enough to receive us fairly late in the evening, and even made us a fire and opened up her art gallery so we could see! We truly wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking again in a future trip.

We stayed here for one night but wish it could have been longer. The house is gorgeous, really comfortable beds, lovely shower and comfy couches. Iseult was lovely, really accommodating and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would love to return for a longer stay.

Bridge House, a former farm and now a tranquil retreat, has been artistically renovated into an organic mix of home, art studio, and outdoor gardens. Our party of four could not have been happier (although a little tight for two couples-better suited for a family or just one couple-but we still enjoyed it immensely). Iseult, the owner and wonderful host, lives on the premises and was available for anything we needed. She was in communication since we booked and provided good instructions for arrival. The house was clean, light, and well maintained with luxury towels and sheets, and artwork. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is basic but provides what you need to cook meals in. The local pub, Pipers Inn, is a fantastic place to eat and drink and is only a 5 minute walk away. We highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.

A lovely, cosy getaway, where Iseult welcomes you warmly and makes you feel at home straight away. You can tell that the minimal design aesthetic is purposely refrained and implemented very tastefully. The house is located 2 mins walk from an incredible bar and restaurant called The Pipers, which is perfect for an evening's relaxation with superb food (I really cannot emphasise how good the food was), a very good wine menu and a bar that had a sing song going when we walked in. To top it all off the mattress back at Iseult's is the nicest I've ever slept in. If you want the genuine Irish country experience, this is it. We'll certainly be back for more.

This was my second stay at the farmhouse and it turned out to be as good as my first. The same attention to detail by the host Iseult that makes this quiet and cosy cottage a pleasure to stay in. It has everything you could need for self catering, it's clean and tastefully decorated with the emphasis on a quiet place to relax within easy striking distance of Killaloe, Ballina and Lough Derg. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the surrounding area.

Charming cottage in a beautiful quiet setting and a great host. I spent 4 weeks here in 2014 and will definitely return. The cottage is traditional, recently restored and has all mod cons. There is a wood and turf burning stove that makes the place super cosy and warm. Iseult, the host is fantastic, making me feel very welcome from start to finish with loads of fresh linen, towels and wood for the stove!! She has loads of local knowledge and was always around to answer any questions I had. At night with the window slightly ajar you can sleep to the sound of the river which is amazing!! There are 2 bedrooms, a wet room with shower and a separate smaller bathroom all upstairs. The kitchen has all you need to do proper self catering. Would highly recommend this 2 bedroom cottage to anyone looking to stay in and around Killaloe.

Very nice home with all of the necessities. A quiet neighborhood. Pat and Thomas were very accommodating and helpful. We rented and car and drove everywhere so this house allowed for a "base" to start from. Very beautiful scenery but not directly on the lake like I thought it would be.

Lovely stay in Mountshannon, Clare. A group of 7 stayed here for three nights. The house was comfortable & warm with a fully equipped kitchen, which we made meals in everynight. The yoga studio was a welcome treat & allowed us to release 2016 tension and head into 2017 with resolve. Thomas the house manager allowed us to visit Inish Cealtra (Holy island) by taking us all out on a boat. I would really recommend doing this. There is also a fine stove, board games and TV with DVD player. Thanks for the stay.

This home smelled wonderful when you first entered, so fresh and inviting. We stayed for a week and traveled to local sites by car. Everything about our stay was comfortable and relaxed.

Everything was as described. A quick call to Thomas brought the keys to us in minutes. The house is well laid out and warm. The back porch was a beautiful place to watch the sun set. The whole area is really, really quiet and peaceful. We'd have no qualms about coming back. Oh, and the white cat with the black tail didn't seem to mind us being in his territory. 'Nuff said.

Great host! We booked last minute and were able to get the place no problem! We went to The Half Barrel in Whitegate the night we got in, which was recommended by John. It was absolutely delicious and the locals were friendly and fun to hang out with!

Fantastic location & view!! Very hospitable and accommodating. Had a great adventure to Holy Island in Rob's canoe, was a blast. Hard to find a good value place in Lough Derg - but this is definitely one :-)

Rob was very friendly and we were warmly greeted when we arrived. He gave us full use of the kitchen, living room, and deck area. The view of the lake was great!

It was a little hard to find in the dark, since it is quite remote. But once you are there you will get a warm welcome. Rob wasn't there, but his wife Mona showed us to our room and offered us a seat by the fireplace, very cozy! The place in general was very welcoming with a good spirit. Mona was quite easy going and we were offered a Romanian coffee in the morning. Even though it was cloudy and drizzly the view over the lake was stunning. In the morning we even had the pleasure to meet little Maya, Rob and Mona's lovely daughter, a very decent child and such a cutie. All in all we really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come around if we ever are in the area again. I can highly recommend staying there if you like a calm place with a good spirit!

Theresa is a wonderful host with an amazing home. Her huge place is exactly as described with interesting items all over her house. It was perfect for our family to get a taste of Irish country life and I would highly recommend Theresa and her home.

Theresa was just lovely we met when we arrived , she was able to tell us lots about the area, she had us feeling right at home straight away . Theresa's house was very comfortable with everything you need for a home away from home . My children loved the extra space to runaround outside and the trampoline and of course the horses. I fell in love with all the floral tea cups and jugs that amongst other quirky things Theresa had decorated decorated the house with, she has a great way of making the house feel like a home ! short walk into town was great we were able to test the Guinness and see the sea eagles nesting and the kids played in the park and the maze . I highly recommend Theresa's home for a comfortable getaway in the lovely Mount Shannon x Kelly and Pat Australia

We had a great stay in Mountshannon. Theresa was very welcoming. She had prepared the most divine bread for us, and some candies for the kids. Her house is just perfect. We warmly recommend Theresa's house!

We had a great time in Mountshannon, the house met all our needs and was very spacious both inside and out. It's about a 10 to 15 min walk to the town. Theresa was away when we visited but her neighbour greeted us and showed us around. We were also lucky to be there for the Scariff festival a small town just 10 mins drive away.

Theresa's home was exactly as described. It was rustic and charming; a proper family home. We found a very warm and hospitable welcome. On our arrival the lights had tripped; although we were able to resolve this ourselves, a neighbour kindly popped around to offer assistance. It was ideally located for all the activities we had planned and the surrounding area was stunning. The house was spacious and comfortable with all the basics but it would've been difficult to find. Thankfully, Theresa had ensured we would be able to check in with her neighbours in our arrival. They were very lovely and helpful. Thanks very much, Theresa! :)
