Beach
“If you have a car and want to take a day trip this beach is great to go to. It’s on the peninsula and you need to park at the parking lot of the hotel but they provide free transportation to and from the beach!”

“Near the marina and the Allegro Papagayo property is a parking lot where you can catch a free van ride to several beaches. This year we went to Playa Nascascolo which is close to the van stop and a short walk to the beach (no stairs to speak of). We saw several Koatis and Capuchin monkeys. The latter are a nuisance. They got into our bags and dropped items into the beach. Fortunately we did not bring food. They will steal anything edible. The beach is great and snorkeling is half decent on the south side. ”

“BEACH. Drive to the Four Seasons resort and follow the signs to the parking lot. Once parked the staff will load you into a van to take you via the Four Seasons service roads to the beach. We always go to Nacascolo beach. (there are options). There are bathrooms, showers, and a small wood walk way right to the beach. Clear waters in the bay. BEAUTIFUL. LOVE it here. Pack a lunch and drinks OR head to the end of the beach and pay for food and drink via the Andes resort.”

Locality
“Basically this is the peninsula across the bay near the Four Seasons Hotel. It is a pretty drive (perhaps 45 minutes). We saw Capuchin monkeys, red breasted trogons (birds), and a pond with various water birds. There is also a white sand beach that you can walk down to via a stairway along the road. You can snorkel on this side. It is not very deep and we actually saw more fish from Ocotal beach.”
