Le cadre ravira les amoureux de la nature et des animaux, très calme et reposant... Danijel est très sympathique et accueillant, très attentionné il sait mettre ses visiteurs à l'aise. Notre fille a adoré dormir avec son petit chat et l'adresse qu'il nous a recommandé pour dîner était très bonne. Ça vaut vraiment le détour ne serait-ce que pour les verres de rakija partagés au coin du feu de bois.

At our arrival, Danijel was here to welcome us warmly. He invite us to have a homemade soft drink with flowers. The place is very perfect for a family with small kids, with the big garden and all the animals : cats, dogs and horses. The house is big enough for a family of four, everything is clean and not so far from the Plitvice lakes. Danijel and his family were always available to explain us all the things we need. We definitively recommand it !

We had a great stay at Danijel! He is a super nice guy, his english is perfect, and his ranch is really a little corner of paradise! He also had great suggestions for things to do nearby.. Highly recommended!

Daniel is the best host we could ever have! Everything was perfect: the house was clean and comfortible, the animals were adorables, and top of it we shared such a great evening with him! It was definitly one of our favorite Crotian experience!

My friends and I have enjoyed our stay at Ranch Dreams a lot! In a group of many people we've spent an amazing long-weekend in Janja Gora and Plavca Draga being housed in this charming and lovely apartment in the heart of Croatia and the beautiful region of Lika with its wonderful nature. It takes you around 45 minutes of car ride to Plitvice Lakes, which is worth it to be apart from the very touristic National Park. In Janja Gora you can visit the International Ceramics Center "Atelier Janja Gora" or the beekeeper family "Vezmar" to get the very best honey products ever. The apartment was perfectly clean and our hosts were very kind, courteous and understanding. Danijel and his family are warm-hearted and genuine people. We are looking forward to spending time with them again!

Lovely accommodation with everything you need in a really quiet location. House is around a 40 minute drive to Plitvice Lakes. Really enjoyed our two night stay there, Danijel and his sister both great hosts. Thanks!

The ranch was very large and clean. The area itself was very peaceful and secluded, about 50- 60 minutes from plitvice lakes. Ranch has wonderful horses and some very friendly dogs! Danijel, his mum and his neighbours were also very friendly, chatting to us and making us feel very welcome. Recommend.

The place is big and clean and Dolores is sweet and hospitable. Though we only needed a room for a night as we drove through, we really liked the place and would stay there again the next time we are in the area.

Dolores was a very good host as she arranged something for us even if her own accommodation was not available. Very welcoming, our stay was really good.

The house was clean, comfortable for us and 2 children of 19 and 16. We had good time (4 days) to relaxe, to walk and to visit the Plitvice Lakes. THE house is nearby the Lakes and we didn't had the rumour of tourists; holyday-feelings! Nice village. Ivona and her husband gave e very good welcome! Good hosts ( professionable !) in Airbnb. :)

Privé-huis met eigen tuin en achterbouw met BBQ. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal door Ivona met een streekeigen welkomstdrankje. De woning is ruim en volledig ingericht. Heel proper en net. Ideale startbasis om de meren van Plitvice te bezoeken, een echte aanrader.

This is a gem! Located 25 minutes drive up a narrow but scenic road from the main entrance to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes. A self contained house with easy parking and wifi in the very charming village of Saborsko. The house is fully equipped, quiet and also offers a cleverly designed barbecue area. You will be surrounded by a few houses and open fields. Experience the walking track up the hill, starting at the local church and marked by crosses and offering lovely views from the top. Recover in the local bar. Ivona is delightful and could not have made us feel more welcome.

La casa es estupenda, tiene yn inmenso jardin y un "txoko" para el asador y una mesa para comer junto a el. Es una zona rural super tranquila y bonita. Esta a unos 20 minutos en coche de los lagos de Plitvice por una carretera muy bonita. Ivona es muy simpática y amable. ¡Siempre es un gusto encontrarte gente asi! Os recomendamos este lugar tan apacible.

Ivona was really nice and welcoming. She opened the door of her house with a great smile and some home-made sweets. The house is really cozy and surrounded by the nature. Definitely a place where to chill out after visiting the lakes.

Notre hôtesse nous a merveilleusement accueillis avec une boisson de sa région, des patisseries faites maison,ainsi qu'avec des produits de son jardin. Son mari avait même préparé le barbecue.

Ivona è stata un'ospite perfetta, riservata ma allo stesso tempo accogliente e premurosa. La casa è facile da trovare perché sulla strada principale e ben segnalata. Pulita e attrezzata perfettamente, inoltre essendo capitate in un periodo semi freddo, Ivona ci ha fatto trovare la caldaia accesa e ci ha accolto come fossimo vecchie amiche. Peccato non aver potuto sfruttare l'area esterna nel giardino, per via del poco tempo e del freddo. Aggiungo che la casa è circa 20 minuti dall'ingresso 1 del parco Plitvice, quindi comodissima da raggiungere. Nel paese di Saborsko c'è un market, un paio di bar e un ristorante. Grazie di tutto a Lana, Ivona e Nikola, speriamo di vedervi presto a Roma.

Zdravko und seine Frau sind sehr herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt in einer malerischen ländlichen Kulisse. Der Garten ist groß und sehr schön. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Es ist alles vorhanden. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Zdravko hat sogar schon den Ofen eingeheizt, damit wir es bei unserer Ankunft warm haben. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Zum Nationalpark fährt man ca. 25min durch eine sehr schöne Landschaft. Wir können Zdravko und sein Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Our stay at Zdravko's House was very nice. The house is really pleasant, spacious and well located for visiting Plitvice Lakes Park as we did. Everything was clean and the rooms are really well arranged. The garden is perfectly maintained and it was really nice to spend the evening there as. Zdravko was really nice and helpful with us. I strongly recommend his place.

This place was so awesome!! We chilled in the lounge chairs on the lawn and made burgers on the covered outdoor grill. Once we saw how much action was at the lakes, we were glad to be a bit out of the way and in the Croatian countryside. The house felt like our own; all amenities available, very clean and cozy but still plenty of space for 5 people. Loved it!! Thx for the experience!

Zravko was an excellent host, we were running extremely late and did not arrive until past midnight, this was no issue as he made arrangements for us to check in on our own. He then met us the following morning to see how we had settled in and answer any questions we had. This house is beautiful and exactly described. The village of Saborsko is completed secluded, very high up in the Plitvice mountains, such a quaint experience. It is very spacious and was more than adequate for 9 of us. The highlight for us would have been the garden, beautiful rural views an outdoor barbecue area and even a small swimming pool. Saborkso is quite a drive from the bigger cities but it does have a small shop should you need anything. I would recommend doing some shopping on the way there, it's the kind of place you want to stay in once you are there, completely cut off and peaceful. The lakes are only a short drive away and I would recommend a day trip, the views are breathtaking, just make sure you get there early, you will need an entire day to take in everything that is has to offer.

We had a very warm welcome, Aleksandra met us in the center of Slunj because the cottage is hard to find if you don't know the way. The cottage is in real quiet area on the edge of the forest. The interior is lovely and cool even though it was warm outside. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to be back some day, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house, the surrondings, everything was perfect. Aleksandra is a perfect host and made sure that we felt home. The house is very well equiped, we didn't miss anything, wish we could stay longer! I would totally recommend to stay here! Thank you for everything!

Aleksandra was a great host - she met us in town and drove us to the cabin. The place was amazing! A fire, food in the fridge, a beautiful outdoor area... and most importantly. A super friendly dog. Wonderful place.

Super verblijf gehad in Slunj ! Aleksandra was erg behulpzaam. We mochten haar 24/7 bellen voor vragen ;-) Prachtige locatie als je niet perse midden in het centrum wil zitten, maar lekker rustig achteraf. Prima uitval basis voor 2 dagen Plitvice Meren. Lekker eten en zwemmen in Rastoke. Kortom we hebben genoten.... Aleksandra thanks !

Aleksandra was super nice, she met us at the center of the town so we could find the house. The house itself is beautiful, it's very quiet and a perfect place to stay on your way to the Plitviče lakes!

The house manda was a pleasant stay. The restaurant next door was easy and convenient. The house itself has a number of beds and could easily accommodate 4 adults no problem. If you are looking to get away for a bit, this is a good option. Wifi was only at the restaurant, so you had to go down to use it, but it is quite close to the house so not too far too go.

It was a lovely place to stay in the restaurant had wonderful food.

We haven´t met Ankica but we had a friendly welcoming from the barmaid working at the restaurant nextdoor. The place was ok but loud as the main street is passing by as well as the trains. It was a very hot summer day and it got hot in the room upstairs. The house was clean and very nice. The food next door was simple and tasty, we had a great breakfast. Place is nice for a night when traveling.

The room was very clean and this place is very convenient to visit Plitvice National Park. It's just 30 minutes driving. They were very nice and offered us breakfast. We recommend them as host.

Really nice cottage, built by the owners & well kitted out/finished. Lovely kitchen, living and sleeping areas. You would want a car really as a bit of a walk to the shopping area in Slunj and to Rastoke (incredible). Roughly 25min drive to Plitvice gate 1. Such a nice part of the world As on a main road, you hear the odd truck go by, but it's not too disturbing.

La casetta è esattamente come si vede dalle foto , è molto carina e ad una breve distanza dal villaggio dei mulini di Rastoke, che è direi l'unico villaggio in assoluto che vale la pena visitare intorno al parco dei laghi Plitvice, che distano una trentina di kilometri su una strada comoda a scorrimento veloce. Secondo noi una ottima soluzione per visitare i laghi senza trovarsi in mezzo al nulla e potendo cenare in un paesino delizioso come Rastoke (super consigliato il ristorante Petro) . Gorgana è stata molto gentile e la ringraziamo ancora per questa bella esperienza

Very cozy chalet in Slunj, we had everything we needed in the house - the welcome beer was a really nice touch :) Gordana was ready to give us advice on Plitvice and Bihac, which are just around the corner!

Just a brief meeting with Gordana to get the keys, but she was very friendly, communicated promptly and generously accommodated our early arrival. The house itself is very cozy, attractive and pleasant--something of the atmosphere of a ski chalet. As she notes it is on the main road, so if you are a light sleeper be sure to bring ear plugs as there is some traffic, including trucks, during the night.

Beautiful house in a breathtaking location. Unfortunately we only had the chance to stay for one night, but I would stay here again without hesitation. Coming from Plitvice and ending the day by being gracefully welcomed by Julijana and her son was great :) The house is amazing, and very comfortable. I would recommend anyone visiting the location to stay here. 5 stars*

We had a bit of confusion when we first arrived but Michaela and Marija were forgiving. :) The apartment was beautiful, and with the cooler weather we were able to leave the windows open and it was perfect. It was close by to many amenities and even some waterfalls (which are worth checking out). I loved how peaceful and quiet it was because the apartment is located off the beaten path. We were very impressed and would absolutely recommend staying here.

The apartment was great, clean and comftable. Michaela was great and helped with everything we need including a ride to the center or to rastoke when we needed it, she did everything to help. The only problem was that the right location wasn't stated on airBnB we thought the listing is close to the center, and we had to walk all the way to the apartment with the luggage. The apartment is a little isolated, but located in the woods which is nice, and if you contact the host before she will help you with the ride. Truly an excellent apartment!

Marija and her daughter, Michaela, were excellent hosts - friendly, helpful and considerate. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Surrounded by nice lawns, garden, play area and woodlands in a quiet location. Supermarket, cafes and restaurants are just a couple of kilometres down the road. As is the lovely village of Rastoke with it's beautiful waterfalls and Restoran Petro (great food with trout the specialty) - make sure you visit both, you won't be disappointed. Plus, the Plitvice Lakes are a fairly short drive away. All in all, highly recommended!

This was the best house I've ever stayed at! It is confortable, beautiful, calm, Very clean and with a wonderful space. We stayed there to Go to Plitivicka Jezera and It worked! Because It's near by car (about 20 min). I also have to say that there's a Very Nice restaurant near, called Petro Rastoke. Michaela (the hostest) is really Nice! I do recomend her house!

A perfect stay on our way from Zagreb to Plitvice with beautiful waterfalls and mill houses on 2 km. The room is totally new and very comfortable with all amenities (including a broad bed with an excellent mattress). The hostess made us immediately feel at home with her warm welcome and offered good restaurant tips. We were absolutely hapoy to have chosen this brandnew room and wish our hosts many happy and considerate guests.

Friendly, kind, generous! The host is very responsive and communicative. His mom sends us great baking goods that we enjoyed tremendously as breakfast every morning. Bus station is accurately close, 8 min walk away. Easy to get to Plitvice. There's also a ticket counter close by. Mainly for Sunday's tickets to Split like us, you need to get it in advance day before so that you get on the buses you wish. Counter is closed on Sundays. We were stuck in town for a whole morning and 4 hr behind our schedule because we didn't know that. As for Matija's place, we give 5 stars! Very clean, new and comfortable with free use of a tea corner and balcony in the house. Despite staying with his family, we also have all the privacy :) thanks!!
