Be prepared to live a unique experience, in contact with dogs and nature! Take a break from the city chaos that fills our days every day. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember: - long and comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). - I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.

We want you to see, smell, touch and taste the elements that combine to make our wines. On arrival you’ll be welcomed by Piero, Ramona or Sarah. We’ll introduce you to the rich wine-making heritage of the Orvieto area and go on a tour of the winery. You’ll be able to walk among the vines, feel the soils in which they grow and at the right time of year, even taste the grapes. From the vineyard we’ll move to our small cellar where you’ll learn about the winemaking process for our white and red wines and the final part of your time with us will be spent in the tasting room. Here you’ll be able to gain a greater understanding of how the wines are an expression of the place in which they’re made. We’ll sample both red and white wines, together with a selection of locally made breads, cheeses and artisan salumi. Hello, Im not a professional chef, so this experience wont be professional, but will be professionally managed. Everyone will take place to the preparation of the dishes from the scratch to the end. The aim of this experience is to spend some time in an umbrian country house cooking with me in an informal environment. After we'll consume all together the meal in a joyful conversation with a glass of wine per course. The day after you will receive the recipes file. We will prepare together 2 kinds of pasta and a dessert to pick from the list below. How ancient populations where capable to understand the quality also in those years . 2)Olive oils production in the world and explanation of cultivated varieties (Cultivars) 3)How olive oils are classified in accordance to International regulations 4)How to read the labels, try to avoid misleading advertising, get to know how to choose best quality products. 5)How to use EVOO while cooking and associated risks (smoke point temperature). 6) Specific session on EVOO tasting during which participants are taught the main principles on how to appreciate the qualities of a good Extra Virgin Olive Oil and how to use it in combination with gourmet or day to day food 7)Visit to a nearby olive grove with explanations of the various coulivars and cultivation technique 8)Visit to our proprietary modern oil mill to understand what are the various phases for processing olives with the aim to produce a vey High Standard Extra Virgin Olive Oil and comparison with old and now obsolete techniques. We start with our e-bikes from Piazza del Duomo in Orvieto to reach Albornoz Fortress where we have a 15 minutes stage for admiring wonderful landscape on Monte Peglia, MAB Unesco reserve, and tell some word about Orvieto's history. Then we will get the "Ring" of Orvieto in order to have unforgottable views from different angles. We stop also come minutes just above "Etruscan Necropolis" where historians are still studying to better understand that fascinating civilization. After we go again inside the very center of Orvieto through "Roman Door", reaching a terrace from where you may take beautiful pictures on Orvieto and lands around. Again by e-bike we get S. Andrea Church and Piazza del Popolo, ending our tour in Piazza del Duomo again, where in a very old and unic winery (an Etruscan cave used now as private wine cellar) we will have our unforgottable wine and food tasting, an experience of scents and tastes that will make this tour an extraordinary "souvenir" of your holiday. Products very genuine from the land and tipical wines of the territory tasted in a spectacular place, just seat in front of Orvieto's Cathedral . Degustazione enogastronomica, wine tasting, in una cantina storica del ghetto scavata nel tufo. Si offrono degustazioni con prodotti tipici locali del territorio, tutto a km0. Formaggi, olio, salumi, pane e vino dal mare ai monti della maremma. Vi porteremo nel mondo dei sapori della tradizione pitiglianese con assaggi di dolci del posto. Per chi volesse e’ possibile fare un’esperienza artistica dentro la natura, a cielo aperto, scoprendo su la Selciata - zona di passeggiata sotto il paese - un’area con le sculture dell’artista Maurizio Dusio. Al rientro ci troveremo tutti nella cantina.

Cominceremo il nostro percorso di degustazione con la visita della cantina del 1300 scavata nel tufo. Qui vi racconterò un po' come veniva utilizzata questa grotta in passato. Dopo la visita sotterranea torneremo su e ci siederemo ai tavoli vista Duomo, se il meteo non lo dovesse permettere la degustazione sarà all'interno, inizieremo ad assaggiare prodotti tipici della norcineria Orvietana come porchetta, salsicce secche e prosciutto ed anche dei formaggi con varie stagionature; il tutto verrà abbinato ai vini della nostra città sia bianco che rosso. Poi come da tradizione finiremo con il vino santo con i tozzetti alle mandorle e nocciole. Durante questo trekking avrete la possibilità di ammirare un'antica cisterna romana mentre i vostri occhi scruteranno l'orizzonte da una posizione unica che vi permetterà di spaziare dalla montagna al mare. Saturnia è una famosa località termale conosciuta già dai Romani che vi costruirono un insediamento per accogliere tutte le persone inviate lì dai Cerusici (medici) per via delle proprietà curative di queste acque. Ciò che è meno noto, invece, è che questa zona era già apprezzata e utilizzata durante il periodo etrusco. Questo popolo aveva un enorme rispetto per i fenomeni vulcanici, visti come espressione di alcune divinità. Vieni a fare un'escursione con me! Ti porterò dove si trova una cisterna d'acqua romana di ragguardevoli dimensioni conosciuta come Castellum Acquarum da cui si gode un incredibile panorama. Scoprirai i segreti dell'antica Aurinia (Saturnia), e godrai degli effetti benefici delle acque curative di questo luogo che continua ad affascinare l'umanità da oltre 2500 anni. Alla fine dell'escursione goditi il ​​caldo abbraccio di queste acque curative conosciute dall'umanità da oltre 2 millenni. Unitevi a me in un trekking di circa 6 km che partirà dalla città di Sovana (importantissima città Etrusca), per andare alla ricerca di una serie di tombe del periodo tardo etrusco nascoste e sconosciute alla maggior parte dei camminatori. Queste tombe e le relative vie cave si trovano in punti poco frequentati, ma la loro bellezza ed il loro fascino non sono secondi a quelle meglio preservate del parco archeologico poco distante. Lasciatevi andare alla sensazione di magnificenza che cattura il camminatore quando si immerge all'interno di una via cava per poi provare ad immaginare l'enorme sforzo compiuto dal popolo Etrusco per scavare questi canyon artificiali. Al ritorno è prevista una degustazione di vini prodotti da giovani vignaioli locali ATTENZIONE: il prezzo dell'esperienza non comprende la degustazione che è volontaria e potrà essere pagata in loco ai proprietari. Il costo della degustazione è di 15 euro a persona ATTENZIONE: In caso di maltempo o condizioni di pericolo la guida si riserva il diritto di cancellare l'escursione.

Our journey will continue towards the Vie Cave that branches off just below the village and then goes up to the opposite hill from which we will have a unique view of this enchanted village. On the way back we will stop at the Cantina della Luce, where its owners will let you taste the products of their hard work. Ci tufferemo nel verde di una realtà agricola alle porte di Roma. Lì, nella sala adibita a birrificio, faremo un vero viaggio nel mondo della birra artigianale, non solo degustando diverse tipologie, ma soprattutto PRODUCENDO una BIRRA propria!! La giornata sarà infatti incentrata su COME SI FA LA BIRRA!! Il tutto avrà luogo in un contesto "contadino" e durante le pause del processo produttivo, si potrà godere della pace della zona, in relax con una buona birretta e dei prodotti tipici locali. Il processo di birrificazione è lungo e complesso perciò è meglio avvicinarcisi con una guida. Sarò lieta di orientarvi passo dopo passo: dalla scelta dello stile in base ai vostri gusti, alla selezione delle materie prime, all'ideazione di un'etichetta personalizzata. Durante il percorso assaggerete il mosto nelle varie fasi di preparazione, così potrete scoprire le magie della trasformazione del gusto grazie alla fermentazione. Quando vi ricapiterà di produrre la vostra birra?!

Vi proponiamo un aperitivo nel nostro oliveto, a poche centinaia di metri dallo splendido lago di Bolsena. Avrete occasione di passare qualche ora immersi nella natura tra i nostri olivi secolari, veri e propri monumenti naturali del territorio. Vi faremo conoscere la nostra tecnica di coltivazione raccontandovi ogni passo necessario alla produzione del nostro olio EVO "Cisterna31". Faremo poi una degustazione dell'olio, scoprendo i sapori e gli odori caratteristici della cultivar Caninese. Infine, assaggeremo alcuni dei migliori prodotti caratteristici della Tuscia tra cui salumi, formaggi, ortaggi, legumi, pesce di lago, vino e naturalmente pane e olio!

Aqua trekking Bolsena. Dit wordt de leukste zondagmiddag van jouw vakantie. Volg de schoentjes en ga mee op Aqua trekking in de heuvels rondom Bolsena. Doe lekker uit die schoenen vanmiddag, want we gaan op blote voeten en waterschoenen op pad. Vanaf het water ziet de wereld er anders uit. Puur natuur wat een intense beleving. Soms spannend, maar wat hebben we een fun vanmiddag! Bij de waterval kun je zwemmen en in het waterspringen. Superleuk.

Stadtrundgang Civita di Bagnoregio & Valle dei Calanchi. Heute fahren wir nach Civita di Bagnoregio. Cività di Bagnoregio gehört zu einem der schönsten Dörfer Italiens. Dieses hübsche Dorf hat einen besonderen Spitznamen, nämlich die sterbende Stadt „la città che muore“. Während unseres Stadtrundgangs erzähle ich alles über diese wunderschöne Stadt. Nach dem Rundgang betreten wir die Natur des Valle dei Calanchi. Erosion und kleine Erdbeben haben den Tuff und den tonigen Untergrund beeinträchtigt. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Gegend, die im Laufe der Jahrhunderte modelliert wurde. Auf alten Wegen durch Wiesen und Felder mit Olivenbäumen begegnen wir den schönsten Vögeln, die Kühe und Esel durchstreifen. Manchmal treffen wir auch wilde Tiere. Wie schön ist das Wir passieren die natürliche Kathedrale und machen ab 1500 ein Picknick in der Pilgerkirche St. Antonio.

Wandelen Bomarzo. Etruskische cultuur en de natuur van het Sacro Bosco met een beetje Pasolini. Wil jij iets unieks ervaren tijdens je vakantie? Wandel dan mee met volg de Rode schoentjes door het Sacro Bosco (heilig woud) vlakbij Bomarzo het is ronduit bijzonder te noemen. Met deze excursie ga je een geweldige dag beleven. We starten bij de toren van Chia ooit de woning van de beroemde filmregisseur Pasolini. Langs watervallen en door ravijnen komen we langs een oude watermolen en bekkens waar vroeger vlas in het water werd bewaard. Het bos is een beetje sprookjesachtig. Je hoort alleen maar het water vallen, de vogels en krekels. Wat een ervaring. Via een holle weg komen we uit bij een oude kerk ruïne met graftomben. Een fascinerende en ook wel ontroerende plek met duidelijk sporen van actief leven waaronder een bekken waar druiven in werden verwerkt. Tijd voor de lunch? Of wandelen we verder naar het hoogtepunt van vandaag de Pyramide. Via smalle kronkelpaadjes en over rotsen klimmend staan we dan opeens oog in oog met dit Etruskische juweel. De wandeling is nog niet voorbij want we sluiten af met een Via Cave, om daarna te genieten met een drankje op een terrasje in Bomarzo zelf. Voor de liefhebbers is er nog tijd om Bomarzo te bezoeken.

Civita di Bagnoregio ist ein wunderschönes antikes Dorf, das als sterbende Stadt bezeichnet wird. Von den Etruskern gegründet, durchlief es dann verschiedene Herrschaften und im Mittelalter erhielt es viel von seiner außergewöhnlichen Form, die später in der Renaissance bereichert und bis zu uns erhalten wurde. Hier ist alles ein Zeichen einer Zeit, die es nicht mehr gibt, Neuordnung und Wiedergeburt. Die Suggestion und der aktuelle Charme sind das Ergebnis dieser Hybridisierung von Epochen, die sich begegneten und aufeinanderprallten. Verstreute Spuren hinterlassen. Am Ende des Spaziergangs eine fantastische Verkostung typischer Produkte

Wo sie ihre Tiere unterbrachten, machten sie Platz für ihre landwirtschaftlichen Werkzeuge, Olivenöl und Wein. Auf dem Plateau der alten Vitozza befinden sich die Überreste einer Kirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und zwei Burgen. Wir besuchen ein Kolumbarium aus der etruskisch-römischen Zeit und steigen über alte steinerne Hohlstraßen (Via cava) ab, besuchen die Quelle und den Wasserfall des Flusses Spring, den wir überqueren. Wir fahren weiter über ein Feld zur Via Cava di San Rocco, einer hohlen Straße aus der Zeit der Etrusker. Die Aussicht auf das atemberaubend schön gelegene Sorano ist fantastisch. Nach dem Mittagessen besuchen wir Sorano und gehen dann zurück nach St. Qurico.

Wandeling Hermitage en kluizenaarsgrot. Wandelend door authentiek Lazio nemen de rode schoentjes je mee naar een hele bijzondere plek. Een plek waar je je ogen uitkijkt en stil van wordt. Waar een prachtige waterval uit het niets verschijnt naast een oude woning van een kluizenaar, een zogeheten eremo (kluizenaarsgrot) en een Hermitage met altaar en troon en oude fresco ‘s op het plafond en de muren. Neem je zwemkleding mee want we lopen langs een mooi riviertje waar we lekker kunnen uitrusten, zwemmen en mooie stenen zoeken.
