“There are over 3000 plant species in the nearly 400 hectares of parkland that comprise Chile's Jardín Botánico Nacional. It's 8km southeast of the city center; take a taxi or catch bus 203 from Viña along Calle Alvarez to Puente El Olivar, then cross the bridge and walk about 500m north to the park's entrance signs.”

“Spectacular panoramic views of uptown and downtown Santiago from cable car (Funicular) and from Aerial Tramway (Teleferico). Great views also from top of the hill where Virgen Inmaculada Concepcion Sanctuary is located. There is also "Vista Santiago" restaurant with great panoramic views. There are many other places to visit in this urban park that you may enjoy such as Japanese Garden, a small zoo and many green areas to rest. ”
