Nature Preserve
“he Paros Park deserves a ‘top 10’ article by itself, as there are innumerable reasons why you should visit. The natural, unspoiled rock formations that are a great sample of Cycladic beauty are one. The walking paths that introduce you to the beautiful nature on the island all year round are another. If you visit during the summer you should definitely have a swim at the gorgeous beach of Monastiri (AiYannis), or watch a film for free under the stars at the open movie theater Cine Enastron. During the yearly festival of the Park (June-October) a number of jazz, classical music and traditional Greek concerts and fascinating cultural events also take place. The Cycladic monastery of Ai Yiannis Detis and the Museum of the Park with the permanent historic exhibition ‘The Island of Paros through the Russian cartography 1770-1774’ are also well worth a visit.”

Nature Preserve
“Located 5km south of Parikia, near the Monastery of Jesus of Woods, this valley is referred to as Petaloudes, which means Butterfly in Greek. Every year during the summer months, the valley is verdant and the Jersey Tiger Moths seem to wrap the entire valley which creates a truly breathtaking natural phenomenon.”

“ Kalogeros beach extends to the right of Molos, with its wild natural beauty and its wonderful colours given by clay, well-known for its healing properties. It is a unique natural spa. A rock rises at the end of the beach, where according to the tradition a monk (kalogeros in Greek) committed suicide, giving the beach its name. Accessible through the Marmara village, by taking the road to the right after Molos, using your own means of transport.”

Park
“A wind-proof white-sand beach with green-blue water. Not quite large, but a small creek, unknown to many people. For that reason its not really popular. What’s really special about it is that it generously offers the desired natural shading, thanks to a small cedar forest located there. If you wish to enjoy your meal after sunbathing there are some taverns around. The road is asphalt to an extend, but right before the beach is dirt but it’s an easy route. Aliko remains a unique seaside place which preserves it’s nature and uniqueness admired by every visitor. In the public forestation, consisting of rare cedar forest, the sand dunes, some Belgian trespassers tried to build a Hotel but was never completed due to locals protesting against it. So the beach is still open to the public. The ruins of the huge Belgian buildings eaten by the sea salt and weather remain creating a strange scene. ”

“A diamond in the rough, Agios Sostis is located in the Northern part of the island, about 6km from the Chora. Prepare your daily essentials, as there are no bars or sun beds at this boho - retro beach. Preferred by the locals and celebrities, expect ample nudists. The sole tavern at Agios Sostis closes at sunset and offers you the bare essentials; Almost like a glance back thought time, of what Mykonos used to be.”

“Psarou è una delle spiagge più famose di Mykonos, a soli 4,5 chilometri dal centro. Bella spiaggia sabbiosa dove molti turisti e celebrità provenienti da tutto il mondo lo visitano ogni anno. Psarou is one of the most popular beaches in Mykonos, only 4,5 kilometers far away from the center. Beautiful, sandy beach where many tourists and celebrities from all over the world come to visit it every year. Very good organized beach with umbrellas, wooden sunbeds and excellent service. Because of its popularity, in high season there is waiting list. When the “Nammos” has a party, champagnes and lots of fireworks light up in the sky. Sports, lifeguard and easy access to the beach.”
