This experience was everything an AirBnB experience should be! It didn't feel like staying at a hotel or a resort. It was private, quiet, safe, and most importantly, BEAUTIFUL! Selwyn couldn't have been lovelier and more hospitable! She was GREAT with recommendations on beaches, food, grocery shopping, and anything else you could think of! All the amenities were in great condition (A/C was great on the really hot and humid days!) The bed was comfortable and there seemed to be a lot more space to spread out than the pictures look! I will be returning to the sweet little cottage on the bay whenever I can! The best part of the whole vacation was definitely the stay at the Sweet Cottage! Book this ASAP because I'm sure it'll book fast!

Selwyn is an amazing and wise person who loves her life and can direct you to anything you need. I had a fantastic vacation. I would highly recommend her place - just don't book the weeks I want to return!!!!

We had a lovely time at Selwyn's Sweet Cottage! Selwyn was gracious and welcoming (picked us up from the ferry and drove us to the airport!). The cottage was so cute and the views from the place were beautiful. We didn't have a car but would definitely recommend one for longer stays. We would definitely stay there again!

Selwyn's place offered a spectacular view. She was gracious enough to come pick us up. That was nice. There was a small fee added. The shower was outdoors and really wonderful. There was no kitchen or living area at the unit I stayed in. There was a small refrigerator in the bathroom with a coffee pot. The space was small but nice. I do recommend her place especially if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle.

Selwyn was a great host. Even though she wasn't there when we arrived, she was only a text away and we were in communication. The Sweet Cottage was as described and what we expected, charming, cute, cozy. The best thing about it is the outdoor shower. It was fantastic! The views out over Magan's Bay were breathtaking. One of the reasons we chose this was it's location in Peterborg, an area we understood to be very safe and we felt that way.

Selwyn was extraordinary. She was proactive, calling us well before our visit and west out of her way to see that we were prepared. The place was one of a kind. We loved the outdoor shower and the company of the kitties. We will certainly be back next year..

Overall was a good experience. Loved the cottage, it was perfect for us. The view has to be its best selling point. Was just amazed on how beautiful Magen's Bay is from up there. Selwyn was welcoming and made us feel like home. She has all the things you need from beach chairs to coolers and even snorkel gear. Loved it, we would definitely stay here again!

I arrived late at the Airbnb due to a delayed flight however Charlie and Nurseen were so kind as to wait for my arrival as well as offer me dinner. The place is just as it looks, but the scenery looks even better in person. Overall the stay was amazing! It is a challenging drive when it gets dark out as the roads up the hill are quite steep and rocky, other than that definitely a must stay.

Charlie is a great host - he very kindly guided us the last bit into his place as we arrived at night. He was helpful with suggestions for the islands. The room was very clean and we enjoyed all the stars and the view. We only stayed one night as we were continuing our vacation on st John the next day, but are glad we chose this place for the evening!

Charlie was an outstanding host. We traveled down for 8 days to visit St. Thomas. Charlie went above and beyond what was to be expected. He picked us up from the airport and offered countless rides. The view from his mountain side place was incredible. If this is your first time or your fiftieth in the Caribbean the view is stunning. I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Charlie's for two nights after staying a week at a resort. It was a good ending spot for our vacation. The location is a little intimidating since it is up some pretty steep roads- we had a jeep, so this wasn't a problem for us, but getting to the top is def worth it! Also about the location- putting the address directly into (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps doesn't really come up with the right location. Before we drove there, my boyfriend was able to follow Charlie's directions beforehand on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps to locate the correct location- we just dropped a pin and had no problem getting there. Unfortunately, we weren't able to meet Charlie since he and his wife were off the island. However, he was quick to respond when I sent him a message and he left detailed instructions on how to get into the property. His neighbor stayed on the other side of the house, so she was available if we had any problems (although we didn't have any :) The view from this place is spectacular! Waking up, it felt like I was in some dream land...pics don't really do it justice. The inside was cozy, clean and perfect for two people. They also had a mid-sized refrigerator, microwave and basic dishes/utensils. All in all, it was a perfect way to end our vacation! It is pretty secluded and up on a mountain, but as long as you have a rental car, you will be fine. It was perfect for the two nights we stayed there. I'm not sure if I would spend a long vacation here solely due to the secluded location (there aren't many restaurants/stores/no beach directly near it etc.) It takes a drive to get to the more hopping areas (not more than 20 minutes though). All in all, it was absolutely perfect for our two nights there and I would highly recommend staying here and checking out the amazing view.

Nurseen and Charlie are lovely hosts and very helpful. Even picked up our luggage at the seaplane terminal in order to allow us a full day in Charlotte Amalie without having to rent a car before dusk. Perfect! The place is as you see it - the view even more breathtaking............... Hire a car to get around the island and to get to the cottage. Going up to the hill by car is no problem - just push the pedal to the metal :-) The place is value for money and definitely recommendable.

Harolds place was a great beach getaway. He was very responsive to all our needs while staying there and provided the essentials for a day at the nearby beach. However, some of the lights didn't work properly which was difficult at night. As well, don't expect great wifi here (or really anywhere on the island). If you are expecting to be able to watch a movie at night on your computer, that can prove to be quite difficult as the internet was spotty at best. Otherwise the apartment had plenty of sheets and towels, and was located in an amazing location near bolongo bay which is where we spent all of our time. Plus you really cannot beat the view. Probably one of the best on the Island. Especially at sunrise. I would stay at Harolds place again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great place to stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Harold's place. The location was perfect and the view was even better. This room had everything i needed for my stay and he left us water and little tips on post it notes all over the room which i thought was cool :) i didn't get to meet Harold but he did invite us to a couple parties and was always easy to contact. The room needs a little cosmetic updating in the bathroom area but he informed me of this in advanced and i appreciated that. Other than that, everything was great and i would recommend this room to others.

Being a guest at Harold's villa was relaxing. The pictures do not do the view justice. Harold was attentive and helpful. I haven't even caught my flight yet and I already want to come back.

Barbara was great host. The place is exactly as pictured. Walking distance to a beach at Blue Beard's Beach Club. I recommend renting a car to get to and from the home as it is off of a private road. It can be a little hot as there is no AC, but Barbara does supply plenty of fans as well as bottled water.

We loved staying here. We rented a car (adventurous driving in STT for sure) and ended up with a low-slung little Corolla; the driveway up to the studio is rocky (not paved) but we were able to make it up there just fine. A truck or jeep would have done us a little better, but it worked out fine. A little hard to find the first time, but Barb gave good directions. We did not try the taxis but there is a card in the studio for a local guy you can call. Conveniently located between Charlotte Amalie and the East End where all the good beaches are. You are about 20-25 minutes drive from the airport. There is a nice beach for a swim, with a bar/grill, bathrooms, and shower just a short walk/drive down the hill -- nice bartender there named CJ -- stop in and say hello. Barb is available, welcoming and knows the island and local context. The studio is simple but well-provisioned and very comfortable. It's hot during the day w/o a/c but cools down nicely when the sun goes down. We LOVED sleeping with the windows open and listening to the frogs and fans blowing at night, and looking up and being able to see the stars. Lots of iguanas, anoles, ground lizards, island chickens, neighborhood cats around outside to watch. Be aware that you are in the Caribbean. 95-99% of food is imported (so it is expensive -- especially fresh produce) and St. Thomas has a VERY old electric grid and infrastructure. Electricity costs five times what it does in the rest of the US, fresh water is a precious resource, and most houses are on septic tanks. What this meant to us was that to be good guests and good citizens, we tried to be mindful of our electricity and water use. This also meant we could save some $ staying at Barb's by shopping for food and making our own breakfast/lunch -- then dinner out was our treat. Barb will loan a cooler for the beach! Cost U Less was a great place to shop -- warehouse type (like Costco or Sams, but no membership fee); there are other grocery stores if your stay is short and you don't want to overbuy. Our advice: If you are all about the fancy hotels and luxury accommodations (or have mobility issues and can't do a set of about 15 stairs) this might not be your place -- but if you are relaxed, adventurous, somewhat flexible & like to get some sense how people really live on the island it's just absolutely WONDERFUL and so is your hostess. Bring a treat for the little dog Annie -- who is also a wonderful hostess. :) Bring bug spray and good sunscreen for the island. Buy a cardboard box and some bubble wrap at Kmart and bring home some rum from the islands. Thanks again for everything, Barb!

We found the place to be more enjoyable than a standard hotel. It definitely has character. The open-ness to the outdoors with all of the screens was a plus. And the location...a few minutes walk to the beach made morning and evening walks unforgettable. Thanks Barb!

We loved staying at Barb's beach house! She is so helpful, genuine and down to earth. Any questions we had, Barb was right there to help. The location couldn't have been better! It is off the beaten path but yet so close to gorgeous beaches, great restaurants, shopping, etc. No complaints whatsoever! We would love the opportunity to stay there again. We wish we could have moved in permanently. Lol

We spent nights at The Barbie Beach House and it was AWESOME!!! A great place for privacy and quiet times. Barbara is a great host and was always ready to help with what we needed . We enjoyed waking up in mornings by the wildlife around the property. It was a lot of fun!!We're already planning another trip.

My host was very kind and willing to get or help out with anything I needed. It's a lovely apartment with a quiet deck for coffee or drinks. It's a 5min walk to Bluebeards Beach Resort that has a poolside bar and good snacks. 15min to Red Hook or the local mall(k-mart, a more traditional grocery store, and a few shops). I recommend renting a car if visiting this location, public transit is not ideal from here. The apartment is private and has everything you will need. I also recommend the snorkel trip from the adventure shack on the beach at the resort. Very good bang for your buck! Coral world is also a must see all afternoon activity, Trista is the best guide! Back to the host; sweet, respectful and helpful. There is a fully functional kitchen, but when it's 80, who wants to cook. Think light food, fruit, cerial, and drinks. Go out to eat for the heavy stuff! I bought way to much food. There is so much to taste and see, cook when your back home, go out when you are here :) My only negative were bugs(not the hosts fault), bring good bug spray!(it is the tropics of course) they have hungry mosquitoes down here!!

Barbara was very welcoming! She made sure even after arrival delays of my parents that she was there to welcome them.

We had a wonderful stay at Barb's beach house. The studio is spacious, fully equipped kithcen made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. There is no A/C, but the large windows with screens meant there was always a nice breeze and plenty of fans around the bed kept the space cool. The studio is a 5min walk to bluebeards beach - a nice quiet beach good for swimming and laying out, the beach bar is fun and very reasonably priced. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Marvin war unglaublich! Er war sehr freundlich und kompetent über die Region, und hat uns sogar einen Aufzug bis + vom Flughafen und Fährhafen. Die Hütte selbst hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und Berghang über der Nordseite von St. Thomas, und war geräumig.

Wir hatten kurze, aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Marvins Ort. Es war sehr praktisch, um anzukommen, wie Marvin uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und brachte uns auf dem Weg in die Hütte zu kaufen und später zeigte uns Orte auf der Insel. Verlagsort gebracht uns 4 sehr gut und hat eine herrliche Aussicht auf den See aus dem Hügel. Kühle Temperaturen auf dem Hügel und keine Notwendigkeit für eine Klimaanlage. Alles, was Sie über die Insel wissen nur Marvin fragen.

Marvin war ein toller Gastgeber und half wirklich unsere Reise unvergesslich machen. Er war freundlich und zuvorkommend und legt seine Gäste zuerst. Ich wusste wirklich schätzen seine Bereitschaft, uns zu zeigen, eine gute Zeit und sicherstellen, dass wir die Insel verlassen einige seiner Schätze erlebt zu haben.

Marvin war ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Er holte uns ab und sogar aus dem Bett zu einem lächerlichen Stunde am Wochenende brachte uns zum Flughafen zu nehmen, so so freundlich und ein absoluter Star. Er empfahl eine tolle Ort zum Essen zu Abendessen. Ich wünschte, wir hätten länger bleiben können. Seine Hütte hat einen atemberaubenden Ausblick und ist sehr schön und geräumig und ein echter idyllisches Hotel.

Marvin war erstaunlich, unsere Reise war süß wie Honig, wie er sagen würde. Die Hütte liegt auf einem Hügel mit einer herrlichen Aussicht, jeden Cent wert! Es ist in der Nähe von Magens Strand, Emerial Strand (gehen Sie dort, wenn Sie Jet-Ski wollen) und zu Fuß vom zip-Futter. Marvin war so freundlich, uns vom Flughafen abholen & Shuttle uns herum, wir unsere eigenen persönlichen Reiseleiter hatte. Wenn ich jemals zurückkehren würde ich die meisten def hier übernachten und kann es jedem empfehlen, der jungfräulichen Insel empfehlen.

Sehr schöne kleine Wohnung mit einem geräumigen Deck das schöne Wasser mit Blick auf. Es war sauber und durchdacht mit wenig Notwendigkeiten für Duschen, Insektenstiche und Sonnenbrand bestückt. Wir empfehlen es sehr und wirklich Kendra Gastfreundschaft geschätzt.

Dies ist ein kleines Studio apt in der Nähe der Spitze des Berges auf St. Thomas gelegen. Es ist gut ausgestattet und sauber, aber winzig und hart für zwei Personen zu bewegen in. Die Außenterrasse war ausgezeichnet. Wir dachten, es ein wenig zu teuer war es im Hinblick auf andere AirBnB Optionen aus. Der Gastgeber war angenehm und der Eigentümer war sehr nett, auch. Sie haben freundliche Hunde.

Solch ein großartiger Ort, mit so großartigen Aussicht. Meine Frau und ich waren nur für ein paar Nächte, weil wir die meiste Zeit auf St. John verbrachte. Absolut empfehlen, dies zu jedem Paar oder einsamen Reisenden weg von der Hektik des St Thomas zu erhalten suchen. Wirklich fühlt sich an wie Ihr in einem Baumhaus. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Hotel war super! Wir haben das Haus kurz vor unserem Flug NY verlassen und durch die Zeit, die wir in St. John gelandet, alles gesetzt wurde. Bei der Ankunft, Kendra und Jen trafen uns schnell und begleitete uns bis zum Haus. Tammi, Lance, Feddie und Zeena waren sehr freundlich und erlaubt uns, einfach nur entspannen und unseren Besuch genießen. Aufwachen zu den 180-Grad-Blick auf die Insel war alles, was wir brauchten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Erfahrung im Escape to Paradise Aufenthalt auf St. Thomas! Das Hotel war sehr sauber und ordentlich, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Magens Bay unten und einer großen Terrasse aus zu sehen. Kendra war ausgezeichnet als Wirt, an der Unterseite des Laufwerks für meine Ankunft warten und zeigt mir alles, was ich brauchte, um den Ort zu kennen, sowie Empfehlungen für wo in der Nähe zu essen. Ich empfehle diesen Ort für eine große Erfahrung auf St Thomas 'ruhigen Nordseite.

Kendra und Jen waren super Gastgeber. Sie trafen uns auf der Auffahrt, uns zu zeigen, wo das Haus war, und nachdem wir in angesiedelt wurden, lud uns am Strand zu einer lokalen Bar / Restaurant aus. Was für ein tolles Willkommen auf der Insel. Der Raum war sehr angenehm und die Aussicht, lächerlich!

Erstaunliche Ansichten des Magens Bay unten. Einzigartige Stelle hoch oben auf dem Berg. Ich wünschte, wir mehr Zeit zu genießen es hatte. Die Familie und die Hunde über leben, waren freundlich und ruhig. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

O lugar é lindo. A varanda é tudo! A varanda tem estas cadeiras de balanço surpreendentes onde assistimos a lua :) A cama é super confortável, a cozinha eo banheiro eram limpos e abastecido! The views are awesome. The hammock is fantastic. The grill works great. Everything we needed was there. Based on the comments left here we debated getting a car or an SUV. We ended up with the SUV. Do yourself a favor and do the same. Great place! Can't wait to go back!! If you're looking for R&R away from the hotels and cruise ships. This the place for you. Not one single complaint. Can't wait to bring more people and check out their other property.

Great view! Clean home and friendly hosts. You definitely need a car due to the rugged terrain to and from the home but that is common on the island as a whole. I hope to return soon.

We came to St. Thomas to visit my sister and brother-in-law. They did all of the scouting prior to our arrival so getting our rental jeep and getting to the property was as smooth as possible. Karen and Kale offered to help with all of this, but we didn't need it. Since we had built-in tour guides with my family, we didn't really rely on Karen and Kale's offered hospitality too much which is our loss. The listing is really underselling itself. All of the rooms were very large with plenty of room to spread out and comfortable beds (one queen and one king). The private deck with views of Magen's Bay is fantastic. Karen and Kale really provide you with quite a lot of things to help you to enjoy your stay: everything needed to grill, beach towels, beach chairs, bath towels, linens, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and what seems like everything but food and clothing. The local rum and cokes waiting for us on our arrival was purely icing on an already delicious cake. We're already talking about when we can come back.

Everything Karen says about this place in her description is true. Location, view, spacious and clean. In addition you get a great hostess who has a full knowledge of local and other island based attractions. When she tells you about the Hideaway, don't wait for Taco Monday to try it. It is the ultimate and original beach bar and full of locals. when we return to St Thomas, you will find us at North Side.

Apartment has a beautiful view. Would definitely rent a jeep. Arriving and departing to/from the apartment can be challenging.

Karen was the best host! She greeted us and was so attentive/quick with messaging prior to our arrival! I felt comfortable messaging her with any questions about the island during our stay. There was even complimentary rum :) The deck was amazing and the house was so clean. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Karen is a great host - she was responsive and did everything possible for us to have a comfortable stay. We loved the quiet and peace after every hectic day on the beaches - word of caution - I would strongly advise on having a SUV (preferably a Jeep) - the home is in an area which has steep hills and a curvy road. I arrived around 9pm. Shirley met us and brought us to our room and made sure we were all set up. The accommodations are great. Incredibly large rooms and great finishes. Looks like it was recently updated. I was just staying overnight before getting on a boat. This by far is one of the best places that I have stayed in when visiting St Thomas. I highly recommend it

Ich wurde am Flughafen von einem des Hausverwalters, John trifft. Er half mir einen Mietwagen in der Kommissionierung und zum ersten Mal in das Haus fahren. Auf Wunsch brachte er auch einen Propangastank, den Grill während unseres Aufenthaltes zum Nachfüllen aus. Es ist schön, die Fenster mit Latten Belüftung öffnen, da es keine Klimaanlage, aber insgesamt ist die Fans haben den Trick, und es war ein toller Ort. Sehr privater Raum, anständig Deck Ansicht (großes Standing, zum Teil behindern beim Sitzen), und es war fantastisch, so viele Küchen Gewürze und Leckereien für unseren Gebrauch (Butter, Salz, Pfeffer, heiße Soße, Zucker, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bug links zu haben Sprüh- aber bringen sunblock- oder vorbereitet werden, um Walgreens zu fahren ~ 25 Minuten). Der kleine Strand in der Nähe hat super Korallen gewaschen am Ufer.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Zen Höhle. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gepflegt und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall ein 4WD. Die Fahrt auf den Hügel und die Aussicht, sich von Zen-Höhle ist extrem atemberaubend. Wenn wir jemals wieder in St. Thomas sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall die zen den wieder buchen!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Zen Den. Jon traf uns am Flughafen und war sehr geduldig und höflich, während wir mit Mietwagen Fragen behandelt. Er führte uns zu dem Grundstück. Wir hatten Obst und Bagels im Kühlschrank für das Frühstück und sogar eine Flasche Champagner für Flitterwochen congrats. Alles war sauber und gemütlich und all die kleinen Notwendigkeiten waren da. Wir checkten Enkai Sushi während unseres Aufenthaltes von einer vorherigen Bewertung und es war ausgezeichnet. Zen-Insel ist ein kleines Stück vom Himmel. Tropische Brise fließt mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Der Grill Killer ist und Sie verpassen Sie nicht die AC, waren die Fans genug. Sauber und perfekt dargestellt. Dies ist der richtige Ort für Sie, wenn Sie aus den Massen bleiben wollen und auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Wir liebten es.

Die Aussicht war unglaublich und das Hotel war sehr schön. Es war kühl auf der Westseite der Insel zu sein, wo es mehr abgelegen ist. Ich würde nicht ohne einen 4-Rad-Antrieb gehen. Wir haben einen Jeep und es war eine Menge Spaß. Wenn Sie AC Buch ihre obere Einheit wollen, die ist zen Insel glaube ich.

We stayed at Salty Sway for our honeymoon and we couldn't be more pleased! Such beautiful villas, views, clean, and comfortable beds! We both said we will certainly be back to St. Thomas, and this is exactly where we will stay again! We couldn't ask for more! Such lovely host & eve gave us a whole bottle of Cruzan Rum upon arrival! my husband & I were able to enjoy our trip! Very safe community as well! Nos lo pasamos de maravilla en Ingrid. El apartamento está muy bien decorado y acogedor, con una vista increíble del océano. Sólo unos minutos después hicimos nuestra reserva (donde íbamos a llegar el mismo día) Ingrid nos pone en contacto con un gran direcciones para encontrar el apartamento y era sólo una llamada o un texto lejos durante toda nuestra estancia. My host, Ingrid was very accommodating. She contacted my prior to the trip and made herself available if I had any issues. The unit was EXACTLY like the description, except pictures can't capture the true beauty of the surrounding ambiance. I recommend renting from Ingrid! Thanks again!!

Ingrid was great at giving us local information about the islands and also provided a free upgrade from our original apartment to a two-story villa right off the beach. We also received a discount card for the local Abi beach. The villa was beautiful and the local town was really close as well. The villa had a smart tv attachment and wifi was available. There were also plenty of towels and some food available. The local market and town was close to go shopping and Ingrid was right up the hill and available through text the entire weekend. We definitely loved every minute of the trip and would enjoy going back any time!

Salty Sway 3 really is as close to the water as described, and the shoreline is amazing. Access to Abi beach really made the trip special for our family. We have an 11 & 14 year old and tried to make due with the pull out sofa, since the unit only has one bedroom. By the second night they weren't comfortable enough to sleep well. If you have more than three in your party, you might consider another of the host's options. The host is very connected on the island and was able to offer amenities and access which we wouldn't have found as regular tourists. We will certainly stay with her again.

The place is perfect for 2 people and the view is amazing. I suggest renting a car and drive around the island. Have dinner in Red Hook for it is a nice and lively place with a lot of good restaurants! Abi beach around the corner is also amazing with a great bar and very friendly people!

Myrla was amazing! Picked us up at the airport, drove us to pick up a rental car and than took us to her lovely home! The place looks better in person! The view is stunning! Cable, AC works lovely! The place was just what we needed! Loved our stay! I will be booking my next stay soon!

Our stay at Myrla's beautiful place was outstanding. Myrla couldn't have been a more gracious host! On several occasions she helped us get into town and thus saved on taxi fees. She also pointed us toward a few WONDERFUL waterfront restaurants, and even DROVE us to her favorite, Mim's! We're already talking about returning next year for a week or two. We loved the place, the beautiful view, and proximity to Magen's Bay beach. A stay at Shirley's place will make it clear to you that there's LOTS more to St Thomas than Charlotte Amalie!

Cannot get over the view. We woke up everyday and had coffee on the porch. The place was cozy and perfect for us two and the pool was a perfect touch. Thank you for letting us rent your home.

Wonderful place to stay on a budget with a view that is second to none! The directions to get to the rental are a little daunting, but (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map is very accurate and gets you there without issue. The rental is not large, and it is a pullout couch that you're sleeping on, but it's very comfortable and you cannot beat the value! Myrla was very accommodating and gave us our privacy unless we needed anything. I would certainly stay there again.

If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, but still be able to get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes, this is the place for a couple!!! The view is spectacular of Magen's Bay and Myrla is the most gracious of hosts!!! She provided wonderful suggestions of what to see and what to do. Iguanas hanging out in the trees, pelicans cruising by and plunging for fish, and the sea turtles swimming below just added to the charm. The fresh linens halfway through the week were a fantastic surprise!!! Please note that there is not a bed, but a pull out couch. That being said, it is not your typical pull out couch, the mattress was extremely comfortable!!! If you decide to choose this place, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks again, Myrla!!!

Jimmy was an amazing host who made us feel right at home! He gave us lots of suggestions on places to see in St. Thomas and St. John. It was a great deal to stay at Jimmy's place since we were minutes away from Red Hook and Food Center. Make sure you get to here first before you start exploring St. Thomas. Jimmy has been on the island for a long time and he will make sure you enjoy your trip. Thank you Jimmy your hospitality. I hope to see you again soon!

We had the best time staying at Jimmy's! He was such a great host and so helpful. He has lived on the island for years, so he was a great person to let us know about the best beaches, restaurants, and neighboring islands. Definitely visit St. John and Jost van Dyke for a day.. the house is conveniently located near Red Hook, so catching a ferry is easy. There are so many great restaurants in Red Hook.. we never had a bad meal! Our favorites were Island Pub for pizza, Tap & Still for great beers and good burgers, XO for a nice meal, and Fishtails for cocktails and Sushi. We met Jimmy at XO for drinks one night which was so fun. Taxis run by pretty frequently, and the house is on the safari bus line but renting a car is recommended because there is no safe way to walk to beaches or to Red Hook. You can get around without one, but a rental would have made catching early ferries much easier and you would probably wind up saving more because taxis are pretty expensive. Jimmy was kind enough to offer to give us a ride if we had any trouble. We had no trouble checking in, but we reached out to Regina beforehand to let her know when we would be arriving which made check-in smooth. All in all, a great trip and highly recommended. We can't wait to come back!

Staying with Jimmy was a complete delight: Jimmy has been on the island for over 5 decades, and has the warm, relaxed, witty character that comes from that. His knowledge of the area, the history, the tips and tricks for getting around, etc. are perfect for someone wanting an authentic island experience. The apartment was clean and quiet, right on a lagoon and overlooking some of the catamarans docked there. It sits just off the main road, so it's not ideal for walking to town---but you can easily get the local $1 safari taxi and hop on/hop off where you need, or get a regular taxi to jet down to Red Hook or a beach when you want.

The Waterfront Fisherman's Paradise is the best deal in St. Thomas! The host, Jimmy, was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, bug-free, and ready for us when we arrived. Jimmy provided us with an air mattress for our 3rd guest. The air conditioner worked well and the house felt safe and quiet. Jimmy lives upstairs and was around in case we needed help with anything. The garden was beautiful :) The house is located right on the Safari bus line which you can take to town for $2. Something to be aware of: the Safaris only travel in one direction near the house (until you get to the big K-Mart) and they stop running at about 7pm. The beaches are STUNNING and all close by. Jimmy even gave us a ride to Linquist beach, the most beautiful beach in St. Thomas. Thank you Jimmy for a wonderful visit and for helping us have an amazing vacation in the Virgin Islands (:

We had an amazing experience staying at Jimmy's apartment! The place is the perfect size for two, is quiet and well kept, and very comfortable. Jimmy was a great host and even took us on a tour to see the beautiful sights. He was always available to ask questions and gave information on the best local spots and how to get to and from places. His recommendations made the experience even more memorable. We loved the apartment and area and would definitely stay here again! St. Thomas is beautiful and there is a lot to do. We highly recommend Water Island/Honeymoon beach for free Monday night movies hosted by Heidi's Honeymoon Grill! If you need a car, Bowsky auto is highly recommended. We couldn't have asked for a better place or better hosts than Jimmy and Regina. Thank you!

From the very beginning Regina was extremely helpful. Answered all my questions and made sure I knew exactly how to get there. The studio is just as described. It is a little older but the owner is continuing to update the property. It is extremely clean and and everything you need is provided. I would definitely recommend this studio.

Traveling alone to the Islands, I must say that I could not have had a better start that staying at the Marlin Room. Jimmy, the owner, is probably the nicest and most kind person I have ever met. He made me feel extremely welcome, gave me rides to the beach or to Red Hook on several occasions, even showed me the Island on one day, and always had suggestions on what to do at the island. Also, it is just fascinating how engaged he is in the community. The studio was just perfect- very clean and it has all necessities, even beach towels! The outside of the property is just beautiful as well! I loved the fact that I was able to brew coffee in the morning and enjoy it in the yard looking at the palmtrees. A big plus is that the studio is at the dollar bus route, which saves a lot of money and is just awesome to get around the island :) I would recommend anyone to stay at the Marlin Room!

Highly recommend staying here. Jimmy is an incredible host, and will tell you the best places to visit while you are there. His employee Wilbert and dog Lilly made us feel right at home. Everything was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. Go there and see for yourself!

Ich würde dieses Studio für 1-3 Personen empfehlen, die keine Fragen der Mobilität haben und nicht in der Nacht Geräusche gestört. Zuerst das Positive: Mo reagierte prompt und ihre Mutter, Frau Bee, war eine Art und hilfreich Vor-Ort-Gastgeberin. Das Studio selbst ist sehr sauber, mit einer starken WiFi. Es ist in einer großartigen Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Vielzahl von Restaurants und Bars in Frenchtown, und ist nur eine kurze Fahrt mit dem Taxi zum Flughafen. Future guests should understand the location before booking, which I did not. Ask for a picture of the outside entrance and the street/alley leading to the entrance. It was not at all the "strolling/walking" neighborhood as described. We obviously didn't do our homework and understand the neighborhood. However, because of the location and our walking we did discover a few outstanding Frenchtown eateries and deli that we look forward to visiting on our next trip to St Thomas (but we will find an alternative lodging). Re: Air-Conditioning. It was accurately reported that there was not AC, so it was not mis-represented. However, we have stayed in the islands this time of year many times and have been fine with open windows etc, but this unit has no cross-breeze and was very uncomfortable, constant blowing fans required to maintain comfort.

Great communication! Even with all of my cell service struggles, Mo was able to get me all the information I needed.

Mo and Ms Bee were very prompt and kind in all communications. We had a little trouble finding the place and Ms Bee was there with her car within minutes to retrieve us! The accommodations were very clean, and the hosts supplied anything we could think of (URL HIDDEN) WiFi, towels, coffee, coffee maker, bottled water in the fridge, and even a couple of local roosters as early morning alarm clocks.

This was the perfect location. Clean, gated, and great for singles or couples alike. I'm definitely returning to Lauralie's studio. *****

From the airport greeting (thanks Butch) to my departure today there was not one misstep. The accommodation is lovely and well appointed....and the views are breathtaking. We really enjoyed our time at Lauralie's studio. It is located in a very beautiful area in St. Thomas, the area is also quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of down town. Being close to the picturesque Magen's Bay beach was a bonus! The studio was very neat and clean when we arrived and Lauralie was very helpful with directions and queries. For the price and location of this studio, I highly recommend it.

Words can't describe how happy I was with my stay. From the minute I wanted to book, Lauralie answered every question promptly. I could only stay for two days and Lauralie made an adjustment on her 3 day minimum policy. She also provided transportation for my entire trip for a small fee. While leaving the airport on my way to the studio, her husband greeted me in passing. The property is located close to popular beaches, but you will need a car or taxi to get there, so schedule transportation with Lauralie in advance. Larry and Ny'Khai were the best drivers!!! Lauralie also checked in occasionally to see if I needed anything. My stay was too brief, but I will return!!!!

Alafia was a great host - we had a lovely time. The apartment was clean, internet worked flawless, beach towels were provided. You need to have a car to come there. It s close to the city, the pool was clean and the view amazing. The check in and check out went smoothly.

This was our first Airbnb in St Thomas for a wedding at the Mariott Frenchmans resort. The unit was right across the road and we walked there within minutes. The view was breathtaking being over the pool off the mountain. During our stay we received unfortunate news and had to leave early. Alafia was amazing with helping us before and during our stay. I would highly recommend using her.

I didn't get a chance to meet Alafia, but she called frequently to make sure everything was fine. Her located was very convenient to the Marriott Frenchman's Reef which is where I needed to go,and the complimentary snacks and drinks were really a nice touch. Thank you Alafia

The place is great for a couple. You'll want to rent a car for sure unless you just want to walk over and hangout at the Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort the whole time. Check-in was a breeze.

Love this place, amazing spot and a great environment. Will be returning to St Thomas again in the future, would definitely re-book this place if it's available. It was everything I needed it to be.

The apartment is fantastic. Very clean, very beautiful, very quiet and secluded in a wonderful location overlooking the ocean. Host was very helpful with recommendations and advice for a first timer. Had an escort help us navigate from the airport to the apartment and get us situated from the moment we were off the airplane. Highly recommend renting a Jeep Wrangler if you visit St. Thomas like we did. This trip cannot be done relying on Taxis. I will be visiting and hope this rental is available to us when we return to the island. Wonderful four days here !! :)

My wife and I were looking for the perfect place to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. And we found it in Cathy's Condo. The rooms were spacious and all had spectacular views of the ocean. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are traveling to St. Thomas, this is the place to stay. 15 minutes from everything! Just be sure to rent a Jeep or 4 wheel drive vehicle.

The view from the Condo is SPECTACULAR and its beauty is beyond describing. My sisters and I tried to capture its beauty…. picture after picture, and as beautiful as our pictures turned out, they came up short for the beauty we were actually seeing. We all agreed that the absolute best time on the Island was the time we spent in the Condo. We sat for hours every day on the patio and enjoyed all the subtle and not so subtle changes in the view. The evening was full of wonderful night sounds and the sky was filled with more stars than I’ve ever seen. The temperature was perfect, which included a beautiful breeze. The Condo is located in what my sisters and I believe to be the most beautiful part of the Island. The view is exactly as the pictures show, except more beautiful….. The space is very accommodating and pleasing. The bed was very comfortable and there is a view from almost every inch of the condo. I’ve decided to call it Paradise Found !!! Thank you, Thank you. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Condo.

A nice, green location on the quiet Northside, with ocean breezes and a great view of Magen's Bay from the deck. Dorothy was very helpful, and ready to make sure my stay was comfortable.

The stay at Dorothy's was amazing. She is a very friendly and helpful lady. We are close to stores, the beach, and down the road from the zip line. If you want nature and a nice view of the water but still in a quiet area this is where you wanna be!
