“Just south and east of downtown, this man made beach has become a popular attraction for locals and tourists. Right on the lake, it's a tranquil spot for relaxing, or people watching. It's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of downtown which is right behind you. You can walk to Sugar Beach from Union station, or take the streetcar from along Queen's Quay ("Key") which is just south of Lakeshore Rd, both of which are south of union station on the Yonge line.”
