“The famous ice cream shop, Santini, founded in Lisbon in 1949 by the Italian Attilio Santini, has recently opened for the first time in Porto, in a large, bright space located in the downtown city centre. This is great news providing an opportunity to try their delicious, freshly made ice creams. Among the traditional, unique flavours of Santini ice cream, you can now try their latest flavour dedicated to Porto, incorporating Port wine, nuts and figs. Their macarrinis (macaroons with ice cream), bonbons and gin and tonic ice cream (available at weekends), are also well worth trying.”

“While walking down from the flat to the River, you should have a detour by this pedestrian street Rua das Flores, where you will find The shop Claus. I always like to stop there, a place of exquisite fragrances, smell, soap, cream... Created by two fellow German, 150 years ago the brand is truly Portuguese and the shop deserve a stop over... I like o much it’s design. I know you can find their shop in NYC but it is not the same, isn’t it?”

“Actually it's was probably the first store in Porto to combine different departments. Back in the century it was the place to go shopping, whether if it was clothes, shoes or house equipments. Nowadays, it's the place to go if you're looking for quality and personal shopping experience. Also, have a look at the rooftop restaurant. Breathtaking!!”
