Paul was a fantastic host - incredibly kind and helpful. He gave my friend and I a number of recommendations for amazing local restaurants, bars and more and even drew a map of the surrounding area with a lot of his recommendations denoted. The apartment is even nicer than in the pictures - really stylish and nicely sized, with a gorgeous outdoor garden/courtyard (perfect for a leisurely breakfast). Could not recommend this stay more!

It's all about the details. Paul was by far one of the best hosts we have had on AirBNB. We wish we could have stayed longer but arrived late and had to hit the road early. During our stay Paul greeted us curbside and showed us to the suite. After a brief tour he provided us with a comprehensive list of local know-how (complete with a hand drawn map!) The suite is a must see. There is so much to see and explore in a "efficient" size. I wish I knew more about interior decorating to rave endlessly about the room. (Paul we read the article!) Our time was very relaxing and much needed. Upon "check out" Paul made sure we knew the best breakfast in town. Two thumbs up!

We had such a wonderful stay! Paul was a very gracious and present host. You can tell that he and Zach have paid a lot of attention to detail within the suite, from the tile and trim work to the garden. The room is cosy but doubles in size with the outdoor space. We do recommend bug spray in mosquito season although Paul was thoughtful enough to provide it just in case. It worked as a perfect get-away for a long weekend oasis while also still being close to DC happenings. We would definitely recommend this place to any couple. Above all, Zach and Paul are the best Airbnb hosts in our book!

My wife and I had an absolutely perfect stay at Paul's AirBnB. It was very conveniently located. The perfect size for our visit. Everything we needed was supplied. The unit was beautifully decorated. Paul even included and hand-written two-page sheet with a map and dozens of recommendations for things to do, where to eat, where to shop, etc. Highly recommended! We will stay here again!!

Paul was an excellent host. He was super accommodating with our arrival and was there to greet us when we arrived. He gave us a lot of great recommendations around town. The room is cozy and comfortable-- pictures of DC on the walls, a lot of TV channels, a nice bathroom, and snacks. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding neighborhood. I wished we had been there more than 2 nights!

Paul's place was just AMAZING! The photos actually don't do it justice as what you see here is what you get and more! Paul himself was just wonderful! With a personalized map that he made himself (if I'm not mistaken), he gives his guests a very detailed guide on the best eats in the area! The house itself is situated in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of interesting places at every corner. Little surprises inside the house like chocolates and popcorn were a nice treat too :) add in to that the amazing light fixtures with their own dimmers that his partner made! The house with its garden is such a cozy retreat after going around the city all day! We're really glad we were able to experience a stay at Paul's :)

I found this stay to be a great value for the DC area. Julian & Lucrecia were delightful hosts. The accommodations are well suited for a single traveler and were as described in the listing; I would certainly stay here again. I was attending a meeting at the Institute of World Politics on 16th Street which was less than a 10 minute walk from this home.

This place is absolutely lovely. The decor is so cool and the hosts are so nice. The location is perfect and we walked to many great restaurants and bars from the house. Very walkable street and we felt safe the whole time. I will definitely be back when I go to DC!

I had read great reviews - so my expectations were high, but Julian & Lucrecia were even nicer than expected. Love the neighborhood, the proximity to Metro (subway) and museums (just 5 stops, I think, on Metro). Julian & Lucrecia are so interesting (even found out that Julian grew up 20 min from where I did!) and very helpful with advice on getting around, what to see. Bed and room comfortable - bathroom small, but who needs large? Everything clean and worked just fine. Fascinating books in the room I stayed in. I loved the neighborhood so much, I am exploring the possibility of living there - seriously. In the meantime, I want to stay in with Julian & Lucrecia next time I come to DC.

Beautiful location, home, and hosts. I would go back. For me, it was ideal. I was traveling on biz and wanted something simple, and easy, with soul, not far from Dupont. I mostly just needed a good place to sleep for a night. The bedroom is simple. The bath is small. The host are in the house. But, all of that works for me. The place has a great vibe. Makes me want to live in DC.

Jessica's place is absolutely gorgeous. It's impeccably clean, the neighborhood is lovely, and she is a wonderful host. I stayed there on business travel, and the wifi was better than in hotels at the location was convenient to downtown.

Second time staying here. Jessica is a great host. She offered to get some grocery for me from the farmers market. Very thoughtful since she knows I like to cook :) I feel very comfortable staying here and I would do it again next time I need a place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you like to cook the kitchen is amazing!

This space is all it is advertised to be! So close to everything! We will plan on using this space again if we get a chance to return to DC ! Also loved the cable programs ... helped to relax after long day!

Beautiful, spacious apartment in one of the best DC neighborhoods! Check in/out was super easy, and Jenny was a great host. Truly a wonderful spot.

Jenny's condo worked well for our family of 4. The nearby access to the Metro made it easy to get to/from the attractions on the Mall. There were also numerous restaurants and shops nearby, including grocery. The condo was well-equipped and comfortable, and remarkably quiet at night. Jenny's communication was very quick and helpful. It was a great experience!

Jenny's place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation nearby and walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. Our recommendations: are Mount Desert Ice Cream (in the same buidling), Suns Cinema (indie movies and a bar), Ellē (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and the dive bar The Raven. Jenny's place is great, quiet, very clean and has everything you need. Jenny was also very helpful since the beginning with great communication. Totally recommend it! A++

Great location, public transportation very accessible and apartment Very light and bright. Bonus was a view of the National Cathedral out the bedroom door window.

The quiet apartment is just as beautiful as the many pictures Jenny shares on Airbnb. Much attention to detail was in place for a guest to feellike they are right at home. We had 2 adults and 2 teens in our party and we had plenty of room. The apartment also has a washer and dryer in the bathroom. That to me was a huge plus. The two TVs have Hulu, Netfilx, and Amazon Prime. Those were hits with the teens. :) There are many stairs to the apartment and it was located in an ethnical area - yummy Mexican food! The apartment is conveniently located to the metro (1/2 mile) and bus routes (few feet to 1/2 mile). There is a 7Eleven just down the street and Target is by the Metro. We felt safe in the area walking day and night.

Linden's small cottage ist super. Die Unterkunft ist in einer netten, ruhigen und sicheren Nachbarschaft und das Capitol ist zu Fuß in ca. einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden diese Unterkunft auch das nächste Mal wieder buchen.

uns gefiel das sehr saubere, liebevoll ausgestattete Tiny House im skandinavischen Stil.Linden war sehr freundlich und wir durften früher einchecken. Die Wohngegend ist wunderschön, sehr grün und ruhig. Leider gibt es weder gut sortierte Supermärkte noch günstige Restaurants in der Nähe die abends geöffnet haben. deswegen sollte man besser direkt nach dem Sightseeing etwas essen gehen ausser man möchte nach einem langen Tag nochmal mehrere Meilen laufen. wir können das cottage auf jeden Fall empfehlen.vielen Dank Linden!

Die Umgebung in der die Unterkunft steht ist sehr schön. Auch die Unterkunft an sich. Sie lebt von kleinen Details und alles ist sehr gut durchdacht. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Leider haben wir Linden nicht persönlich kennen gelernt. Aber der Kontakt wird immer in guter Erinnerung bleiben.

Wir haben für zwei Nächte bei Linden übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Cottage ist wie beschrieben, zwar klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sogar Extras wie ein Fön oder Bügelbrett/Bügeleisen sind vorhanden. Wir sind mit einem Mietwagen angereist und brauchten einen Parking-Pass, den Linden uns aber völlig unkompliziert besorgt hat. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Man braucht bis zum Capitol jedoch schon gut 30 Minuten. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt und ein sehr netter Kontakt.

Das Cottage befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend, ist gemütlich und bietet alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt für 2 Personen benötigt. Die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. An- und Abreise ist unkompliziert, einzig wenn man mit dem Mietauto unterwegs ist, sollte man sich vorab mit Linden abstimmen. Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Linden absolut empfehlen!!

Great little studio space, clean and really well located!

Linden's tiny house was the perfect retreat for a short trip to D.C. She was on pointe with the communication and provided great suggestions for dining. It was a quick Uber ride to all museums, entertainment, and other stops on Capitol Hill.

Der Auenthalt bei Riverta war sehr schön. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Die Metro war zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Auch die Menschen in der Gegend wirkten sehr hilfsbereit und offen bei Fragen aller Art.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß! Die Bahn Station war in der Nähe und in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich würde dieses Zimmer wieder buchen!

Wir hatten wirklich alles was wir brauchten, während unseres Aufenthaltes. Platz im Kühlschrank, ein großes Bett, ein wunderbar sauberes Bett, Bad und insgesamt die Unterkunft. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, den Garten hätten wir ebenso nutzen können. Die Nachbarschaft ist herrlich und Roberta war einfach nur herzlich und unkompliziert. Kurzfristig könnten wir einen Tag eher anreisen. Es lief einfach alles super hier. Danke Roberta!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Roberta war super und es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Unser Zimmer im Keller war noch viel schöner als auf dem Bild und das Bad war geräumig und sauber. Der Check-in verlief problemlos. Zur nächsten Metro Station waren es zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten und Supermärkte sind auch fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir können die Unterkunft 100 % weiterempfehlen!

Jessica's place is a lovely, quiet place to stay in DC. She was a friendly host who provided some great personalized tips for my visit.

We rented it for three persons. There was just one very small bedroom with one medium sized bed. Our daughter had to sleep on an a blow-up bed. The room was so full that you couldn't walk anymore. She slept the first night on the couch. The night after Jessica layed on the couch, no lights on pretending to read without saying anything to us. The house and especcialy the neighbourhoud is great! And at the start she was not unfriendly and the house was quite clean. But this was our worst airbnb experience ever (we never had a bad one to be honest in the last six years). When you are alone it is ok I think.

Jessica’s place is super cozy, and quite close to central Georgetown. Our three night stay was lovely and I would recommend the house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Georgetown.

Great location!

Jessica's house is amazing. It is in a wonderful neighborhood in Georgetown but also close to Foggy Bottom and Dupont. The room I stayed in is exceptionally clean with a nice writing desk, good lighting, very nicely decorated, wonderful shower with heated bathroom floors and a very comfortable bed! Jessica gives you acess to a lovely rooftop deck, and a lovely back yard. I had several very nice conversations with her and she couldn't be more helpful with suggestions on what to see or do, or where to eat! Jessica may have another guest staying with her, and it is her own house. So you have to be comfortable sharing :) I will definitely stay here again

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und die Subwaystation nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Es war sehr sauber und angenehm dort zu übernachten. Meseret und Sam sind super Gastgeber und haben immer schnellstmöglich auf all unsere Fragen geantwortet. Ich würde jederzeit wieder bei Ihnen übernachten.

Die Wohnung war wirklich super. Sehr sauber und super ausgerichtet. Vor allem die Küche war ein Traum. Wir haben die Zeit in Washington dazu genutzt die Stadt zu erkunden, was von der Wohnung aus sehr gut fußläufig möglich war. In der näheren Umgebung sind zudem eine Menge Restaurants und ein Supermarkt, man hat also alles was man braucht in der Umgebung. Wenn ich wieder einmal nach Washington komme würde ich jederzeit wieder bei Meseret buchen.

Bei Meseret hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr günstig - mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man schnell im Stadtzentrum. Meseret hat uns einen kostenlosen Parkausweis gegeben, so dass wir direkt vor dem Haus parken konnten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank Meseret - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Einrichtung und man kommt zu Fuß überall gut hin. Bus und Bahn haben wir nicht benötigt. Wir wurden mit leckeren Backwaren empfangen. Für Fragen stande uns Meseret jeder Zeit zur Verfügung. Sie bestellte uns sogar ein Taxi zum Flughafen.

Marc war sehr nett und hat uns schon früher in die Wohnung gelassen. Die Garage war geräumig und toll ausgestattet. Mit dem Bus sehr einfach zu erreichen. Die Wohngegend ist sehr schön dort!

Eine coole Unterkunft um ein paar wenige Nächte zu verbringen mit Gußeisenkamin. Ist halt in einer Garage, daher nicht für jede Frau perfekt...

Gemütliche Wohnung mit allem was man, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Man hat in der Wohnung sehr viel Platz. Wir bekamen bereits vorab eine sehr gut Beschreibung zur Anreise und der Wohnung. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich.

This place is great. The neighborhood is very cute and feels safe. It's very close (easily walk-able) to food etc. The closest metro stop is .7 miles away, but it's an easy walk. 2 buses are very close and run frequently. One of the reasons I booked this listing was the kitchen as I was staying 6 nights. It's much better equipped than most Airbnbs, which I appreciated so much. It's very spacious. The bed is comfortable. It was wonderful to be able to use the washer/dryer. Marc has great communication and is very quick at answering questions/communicating. Thanks for a great stay!

A great place to stay when you're in DC. It was clean and comfortable and an easy uber ride to main parts of DC. And you can't beat the rate. Marc was a great host and I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable big apartment in a calm and pleasant quarter of Washington. Very good connection to city centre. Convenient Parking free of charge right in the street. Beds comfortable. Good equipped kitchen, where you can find everything for self-catering. Perfect communication with Marc, who was very helpful and immediately found an adequate solution for all our little problems. We are most grateful to Marc and hope to be his guests again sometime.

We enjoyed our stay in Washington very much. The appartment was as described and having a kitchen and laundry was great. It is located in a nice area, good restaurants are nearby. Downtown can be reached easily by bus, busstop was quit near. Marc was very helpful. We can recommend it to anybody.

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in Alan's Wohnung. Sie ist super gelegen und wunderschön eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir hatten die Unterkunft bei Allen schon recht früh gebucht und waren gespannt, was uns erwartet. Wir waren total begeistert, die Wohnung liegt zentral, bis zu Metro ist es nicht weit. Die Nachbarschaft ist gut, es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze und die Wohnung ist spitze. Es ist alles da, im Grunde hätten wir durch die Waschmaschine, den Trockner viel weniger Gepäck benötigt. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer rappelt zwar fast die ganze Nacht, aber es war nicht störend. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung für 2-3 Personen perfekt. Man "lebt" dann halt in Washington. Alan ist immer für einen (per Airbnb) da. Die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind super und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Hier kann man auch länger buchen, es lohnt sich. Der Preis passt zu dem was man bekommt. Auch von der Lage im Souterrain sollte man sich nicht beirren lassen, es ist relativ kühl im Hochsommer und genügend Licht kommt durch die Fenster. Alans Wohnung ist jedenfalls unsere erste Anlaufstelle, wenn wir mal wieder nach Washington kommen.

Wir haben bei Alan eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht und uns auch als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt.

Man kann das Zentrum bequem mit der U-Bahn oder sogar zu Fuß erreichen. Alan haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt, aber er hat alles getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen konnten. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthalts war sehr unkompliziert. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Ganz in der Nähe der Wohnung gibt es viele gemütliche Bars. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Zentral gelegenes, gemütliches 2-Zimmer-Souterrain-Appartement mit umfangreicher Küchenausstattung, flottem W-LAN und gutem Bett. Sowohl die national-mall mit ihren Attraktionen sowie das Szene-Viertel U-Street sind fußläufig erreichbar. Alan ist sehr freundlich und stets erreichbar. Die örtlichen Gegebenheiten entsprechen absolut den Vermieterangaben.

Alans Apartment ist für ein Trip nach Washington ideal. Es liegt im etwas tiefer gelegenen Erdgeschoss. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, aber ruhig und in einer guten Nachbarschaft. Außerdem ist das Apartment, was uns wirklich wichtig war, sehr sauber. Es gibt sogar eine Kaffeemaschine, Spül- und Waschmaschine, Gewürze, Heizung, Klimaanlage, Regenschirme, Kamin,... Also alles (und eigentlich noch mehr) was man braucht. Im Schlafzimmer ist manchmal ein Rauschen von der Klimaanlage von der Wohnung darüber zu hören. Uns hat es nicht sonderlich gestört, aber ich wollte es dennoch benennen. Für diejenigen, denen das zu laut ist, hat Alan Ohrenstöpsel bereit gelegt. Die Kommunikation mit Alan lief problemlos. Er hat vor unserer Reise eine lange Email mit allen Informationen geschickt, sodass wir ganz beruhigt in den Urlaub starten konnten. Wir waren zu dritt in Alans Wohnung und können die Wohnung zu 100% weiter empfehlen.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in Alans Apartment und waren äußerst zufrieden!! Es war alles sehr ordentlich & wir fühlten uns super wohl (schon fast zuhause)! Alan ist ein überaus fürsorglicher und angenehmer Gastgeber. Es liegen Wegbeschreibungen, Restauranttipps, Gebrauchsanweisungen für alle elektronischen Geräte aus. Auch kann man ihn bei Fragen jederzeit erreichen! Es ist alles vorhanden - von Fernseher bis zum Bügeleisen :-) sogar Kaffee kann man in der früh machen :-)! Ideal auch wenn man länger bleiben will! Die Anbindung an die Metro ist super! Nur etwa 400m entfernt. Bei unserem nächsten Washingtonbesuch werden wir sofort wieder dort schlafen! Wir danken Alan dass er uns einen so wunderbar angenehmen Aufenthalt ermöglicht hat!

Es war sehr einfach, mit der Metro in die Stadt zu gelangen und alle Angaben entsprachen der Realität. Leider haben wir Clifford nicht kennengelernt. Obwohl er nicht da war, als wir ankamen, verlief der Check-in reibungslos. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der Washington erkunden möchte.

Die Wohnung war super sauber und ordentlich. Cliff war ein toller gastgeber und super hilfsbereit.

Die Unterkunft im Basement ist für den begrenzten Raum optimal und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, so dass man sich schnell wohl fühlt. Man merkt dass hier mit gutem Geschmack und einem Händchen auch für die Kleinigkeiten eingerichtet wurde. Für unsere 4 Urlaubstage war alles bestens! Wichtig zu wissen ist aber sicher, dass man alle Geräusche aus der Wohnung drüber deutlich hört ( z.B. das Hunde- Getrappel des sehr niedlichen Mitbewohners von Clifford). Alles erträglich, aber Ohropax besser nicht vergessen.

Die Unterkunft war okay, aber ich war enttäuscht weil ich vorher so viele gute Bewertungen gelesen haben. Der Mülleimer war voll mit Müll als wir ankamen, im Bad lagen Haare und das Bett war bei Ankunft nicht gemacht, deshalb bin ich nicht sicher ob es frisch überzogen war. Vor Ort bekam ich auf manche meiner Nachrichten an Clifford einfach keine Antwort, zB wo wir den Schlüssel hinterlegen sollen oder wo wir die Koffer am letzten Tag unterbringen können. Das hatte er uns vorab zugesichert aber da keine Antwort kam mussten wir sie den ganzen letzten Tag mitnehmen. Die Metro Station und vorallem der Flughafen sind weiter entfernt als ich es erwartet habe. Alles in allem habe ich mir viel mehr erwartet.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, ordentlich und wie beschrieben. Es gab saubere Handtücher, Wasser im Kühlschrank und eine voll ausgestattete Wohnung. Wir haben Clifford leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt, aber mit der Schlüsselübergabe hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das Appartment war mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zur Metro Station läuft man ca 15 Minuten. Die Züge fahren regelmäßig. Wir können das Appartment nur weiterempfehlen.

Cliff was a great host to us. He is a very friendly and helpful person. The apartment was very clean, the bed was super comfy, the carpet was very soft, the apartment was greatly equiped. We found everything we needed, also a washing machine and dryer, which we could use. We had an awesome stay in DC. Thank you Cliff.

We loved the accommodation. We meet Clifford at check in and he allied us through the space. Very kind and warm. It was everything we needed. The extras like coffee and water were great. Very cosy bed slept well. The accommodation was very clean and furnished lovely. The property is about 20 mins from Silver Spring and Takoma station. Über was about $4-5 from the stations to his house. The stations will take you right into the city. The buses are about 45 mins from the station. It's hard to stay what he could have done to make our stay better.

We were so pleased to have a great place to stay! To have waher/dryer available was terrific. Decor very nice, kitchen was so convenient to have. Less than 1 mile to parking garage to catch metro,yes we became pros with it day two!! If we ever go back to DC area ...I'm booking with Cliff!!!

Das Zimmer im oberen Stock war sehr sauber und direkt mit der Dachterasse verbunden. Die Kommunikation mit Kevin war sehr einfach. Die Ubahn erreicht man zu Fuss in ca. 10 Minuten und die "National Mall" mit einem Uber auch in 10 Minuten (Uber X ca. 10 Dollar pro Weg, Uber Pool 6 Dollar). Wir würden sofort wieder kommen

Kevins Unterkunft liegt im Nordwesten von Washington und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Mit Taxi/Uber braucht man ca 10 Minuten zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Kevin ist sehr ruhig und hilfreich. Ich würde diese Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen, der ein bisschen Weg zugunsten des tollen Preises in Kauf nehmen will!

Kevin war ein sehr freundlicher, ordentlicher und sicherheitsbewusster Gastgeber. Man hat sich bei ihm wie zuhause gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft war er zwar nicht da, hinterließ uns im Bad auf einer Tafel aber alle wichtigen Infos. Er war sehr interessiert an uns und gab hilfreiche Tipps. Bei Fragen stand er uns jederzeit zur Verfügung. Das private Zimmer mit eigenen Bad bot genügend Privatsphäre. Die Dachterrasse ist der WAHNSINN! Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und durften die Küche und das Wohnzimmer mitbenutzen. Das Bad und das gesamte Haus waren sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Kevin hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen und ihn weiterempfehlen. ENGLISH: Kevin was a very friendly, accurate and safety-conscious host. We felt like being at home. He wasn´t at home when we arrived but gave us all instructions for check-in by message and left all important informations about the house on a board in the bathroom. He was very interested in us and gave us a lot of helpful advises. The private room with in-suite bathroom gave us enough privacy. The roof deck was AWESOME! We had everything we needed and could use kitchen and living room as well. The whole house was very clean and tidy. Kevin exceeded all our expectations! We definetly would recommend him and stay there again!

Bereits vor der Anreise bekamen wir viele Informationen von Kevin. Unter anderem wie wir in das Haus hineinkommen und welches unser Zimmer sein wird. Wir bekamen das Zimmer mit Dachterasse, was zum Frühstücken wie auch abends echt schön war. Bei Fragen z.B. zur Bedienung der Waschmaschine oder auf der Suche nach Küchenutensilien stand Kevin uns immer hilfsbereit zur Seite. Das Zimmer wie auch das eigene Bad waren zudem sehr sauber, deshalb können wir die Unterkunft bei Kevin nur empfehlen!

Die Wohnung von Kevin war einfach wunderschon. Er hat alles genau beschriftet und steht jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Leider musste ich nach ein paar Tagen abreisen - wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Kevin ist ein freundlicher und überaus zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Alles war in einem top Zustand und äußerst sauber! Die Dachterrasse ist der Wahnsinn! Der Aufenthalt bei Kevin war von Anfang der Kontaktaufnahme, über den Aufenthalt in seiner sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung bis zum Check-Out absolut zu empfehlen. Zwar haben wir uns nur einmal kurz gesehen, aber Kevin hat im Vorfeld alle wichtigen Tipps und Hinweise kommuniziert, so dass wir keinerlei Probleme hatten. Zwar ist die Wohnung etwas vom Stadt-Zentrum entfernt, was aber mit Uber, Lyft und Co. überhaupt kein Problem ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können Kevin's Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

Das Zimmer war genau wie beschrieben, zu zweit völlig ausreichend! Die Lage ist Top, sehr ruhig und man erreicht alles gut zu Fuß! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich! Würden sofort wieder hin!

Uns hat es bei Adam und Jen sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage war Top, in ca. 20 Minuten war man zu Fuß am Capitol. Ruhige, schöne Wohngegend. Sehr angenehm waren die Getränke im Kühlschrank und die bereitgestellten Snacks. Alles war super sauber.

Sehr nett gestaltete Wohnung im Keller des Hauses mit eigenem Eingang. Besonders gefallen haben uns die bereitgestellten Informationen. So haben wir uns die $ 50 für eine Hop-On Hop-Off Tour gespart und die Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Circulator erkundet. Die Union Station ist zu Fuß etwa 15 Minuten entfernt, in die H Street (viele Restaurants) kommt man in etwa 8 Minuten. Zusammengefasst absolut empfehlenswert!

Dieses Apartment können wir wirklich nur sehr weiterempfehlen. Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Es Lagen lagen Snacks und Getränke für uns bereit. Auch das Badezimmer war komplett ausgestattet mit Handtüchern, Hygieneartikeln etc. ... sogar Netflix hatten wir auf unserem Zimmer. Es ist eine sehr schöne und ruhige Wohngegend. Man ist super schnell bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, egal ob mit dem Fahrrad oder auch zu Fuß. Unser Auto konnten wir in der Einfahrt parken, sodass wir auch hier keinen Stress hatten mit der Parkplatzsuche.

Guter Startpunkt in Washington D.C. um ein paar Tage die Stadt zu erkunden. Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfbereit, im Zimmer war alles, wie beschrieben, vorhanden. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken gefüllt und kleine Snacks waren auch vorhanden - tolle Idee :-) Great location to explore the city within a few days. Really great and safe neighborhood. Even the Capitol is in walking distance (~25min) but I want to recommend a bike (then it's just a 5min ride away). The 3 day pass for capitalbikeshare costs $15 and it's more worth than using the public transportation (if the weather is with you). More fun, healthy and definitely faster during the rush hours. You can also go everywhere because there are a lot of stations available in the city. Pentagon, Arlington cemetry (note: You are not allowed to visit the cemetry by bike! Only by car or walking), Georgetown... I've visited all these places with the bike. I've enjoyed the stay really much in the apartment.

Eine super Unterkunft, modern, sauber und gemütlich. Kevin hat Getränke und Snacks bereitgestellt, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Sehr gute Anbindung in die Stadt mit dem 80er Bus, smartcards lagen schon bereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Wir hatten einen super angenehmen Aufenthalt bei Kevin! Obwohl wir erst um 22.00 Uhr angekommen sind, hat er uns noch persönlich empfangen. Im Kühlschrank haben dann auch noch Getränke suf uns gewartet. Das war toll! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und entspricht den Bildern! Alles war super sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist wirklich schön. Mit dem Bus, der direkt vor dem Haus hält, ist man schnell im Zentrum. Wir würden Kevins Wohnung immer wieder buchen! (:

Sehr cooles Apartment mit toller Einrichtung. Es bietet alles was man möchte und war sehr sauber. Super toll waren die Snacks und Getränke die uns zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es fahren 2 verschiedene Bisse direkt vor der Tür die einen in kürzester Zeit in die Innenstadt bringen. Leider war der in der Beschreibung angebrachte authentisch Sound des alten Apartement Lärm von den Kindern über uns. Dies war so laut, dass man ab 7:30 nicht mehr schlafen konnte. Eventuell ist es am Wochenende besser.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Wahington DC und Kevin hat mit seinem Appartement einen wesentlichen Teil dazu beigetragen. Neues, sauberes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement mit vielen kleinen Details. Ob Metro Cards, Empfehlungen fürs Essen, Reiseführer oder die Parking Permit, alles lag bereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt auch wenn das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Eine tolle Unterkunft, super Tipps von den Gastgebern und eine tolle Lage auf dem Capitol Hill. Das kleine Häuschen im Garten der Familie bietet alles was man braucht. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Diese Unterkunft bietet alles und noch viel mehr für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Washington. Ken hat wirklich an alles gedacht, von der liebevollen Einrichtung bis hin zur außergewöhnlichen Ausstattung in der Küche. Über das Begrüßungsgeschenk im Kühlschrank habe ich mich besonders gefreut. Ein ganzer Ordner mit sämtlichen Informationen zur Umgebung und zur Stadt war ebenfalls vorzufinden. Wir konnen wirklich sagen das Ken ein perfekter Gastgeber ist. Er hat sich um alles gekümmert zb. auch um einen Parkausweis. Er reagierte blitzschnell auf Nachrichten und bot an, zu fragen falls man irgendetwas benötigt (auch Zutaten zum Kochen) :-). Wir haben Ken nicht persönlich getroffen, trotzdem hat alles absolut reibungslos funktioniert. Ich kann diese Unterkunft zu 100% Prozent weiterempfehlen und würden sofort wieder hier bleiben wenn wir noch einmal in Washington DC sind. Bis zum Capitol (also zum Anfang der national Mall) sind es etwa 22 Minuten zu Fuß. In der gegend gibt's aber auch viele Mietstationen für Fahrräder. Es war mit Abstand die beste Airbnb Unterkunft bei unserem Aufenthalt in den USA. (insgesamt hatten wir 7 Airbnb Unterkünfte) Peter (28) und Saskia (27)

Wir hatten eine geniale Zeit in Washington. Die Unterkunft ist für jeden, der die Stadt zu Fuß erkunden möchte, perfekt gelegen. Zum Kapitol sind es ca. 20min Fußweg. Fahrräder zum mieten sind nur 2min zu Fuß entfernt. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ein schnukeliges Tiny House im Garten der Familie. Man kann sie frei bewegen, Grundausstattung (Töpfe, Geschirr, Besteck, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster und Gewürze) ist vorhanden. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in der Cabin. Es war richtig top! Alles super sauber und gemütlich. Ken und seine Familie sind super Hosts!!! Die Wohngegend ist sicher und mit den Rental Bikes konnten wir prima mobil sein. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter!

In many ways, this is a great place to stay. The room is spacious, the neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and Diane is a very generous host. The only drawback is that the acoustics of the flat are a bit weird. In the living room, the TV is placed at the feet of the stairs leading upstairs, which means that when the TV is on, you can hear it from the room, behind a closed door, very much as loud as it is in the living room itself.

Diane's place is great! She's really nice and knows a lot about the area. The neighborhood is quiet. The area has several affordable restaurants and coffee shops. It's not too far from the Takoma Metro station and doesnt take long to get to other parts of DC.

Diane is really great! She is so helpful. On my first day here she took me around showing me all the near by supermarkets, bus stations and metro. The room was perfectly furnished with all the things I need. It really made me feel like home.

Diane's place was perfect for what I needed. I was there for the entire summer for an internship. There was plenty of space for all my clothes and belongings, and space for me to have enough food to cook three meals a day. Because of similar schedule's, Diane was very understanding of my comings and goings, and made living there while working easy. The metro is a 10-15 walk down a road (with sidewalks) so it was a perfect way to start and end my day. The neighborhood itself was so cute and safe; there are great restaurants (a couple of which that have great bars) and the farmer's market on Sunday has a great variety and great prices. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Kevin’s for a month and, for the price I paid, I expected a shoe box in the projects. I was in awe of what I got- an entire 1-bedroom apartment in decent area of DC with new and clean carpets as well as a smart TV, great WiFi, and a nice comfortable place to sleep. The futon was a nice extra. I checked in super late with no issues. Parking was also never a problem. Kevin reached out periodically to see if I needed anything, and went out of his way to drop off necessities. I felt I definitely had everything I needed and more. I would definitely book again if I am in the area. Thanks Kevin!

Extremely clean and only a short 15 minute drive into downtown DC. It was perfect for what we needed and located on a side street with easy on-street parking available right outside. Kevin was a great host and communicated efficiently and helped answer any questions I had. I will definitely be staying here again if i come back to the DC area.

An ok place to stay if travelling solo. It's a living room with interior bi-folding doors that doesn't lock or close properly. Too many personal items around the place and under the bed where you will be sleeping. So, as long as you're just looking for a simple place to crash and don't mind the environment at all, this place might work. Also, be warned if you're allergic to dust.

I stayed at Scott’s place after finishing an internship for the summer. I wanted to explore more of the DC area with some students I had met at my job. Since Scott’s place is incredibly close to the Metro, going to the touristy spots of DC was super simple, fast, and easy. I arrived at Scott’s place earlier than the check-in time to drop off my luggage. Thankfully, this was allowed. He had freshly washed sheets ready for the bed and had just cleaned the bathroom. Considering the price of the place, I questioned whether the cleanliness of the place would be subpar, but that was not the case. Scott mentions earplugs in order to keep the noise down. Construction outside his home coupled with the sound of the room’s air conditioner, the creaky stairs, and other residents in the house can make for a noisy stay so earplugs are definitely a plus. For people who are sensitive to noise, the place would probably be difficult to sleep in without earplugs. In any case, I am happy with the cleanliness of the space and the location of the area for the price!

Morgan´s place is really good for spend a weekend. If you don´t have problem with share the bedroom with other guests( respectful, polite), this place is recommended for you! And actually you can meet other people. Really safe, and is close to the subway. The place is clean and you can use everything, the only thing was my bed didn´t make when I arrived, but Morgan changed the sheets and gave blanket and a clean towels.

Very convenient location, 5 minute walk from the subway with easy access to downtown and the national Mall. Morgan let me drop off my bags early when my flight arrived early and let me leave my bags to accommodate my late flight. The space is impeccably clean. The bunk beds are... bunk beds, but comfortable and functional if you just need a place to sleep. All around a great value. If you can book here, do it!

Morgan’s place is great! For bunk beds, they’re really comfortable. Sheets were cleaned and smelled like they’ve been in the laundry. Clean. The building itself is really nice, with a great location! Really close to downtown! Close to the airport too. It’s really great especially for a price like that! I became friends with someone who stayed in the same room, nice people all around! Definitely would do it again!

Morgan's place is a clean hostel-like sharing space. Not far from the city-centre, it is a relaxed place. It is certainly value for money.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man hat in direkter Umgebung die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und sauber! Gemma war bei Fragen sehr hilfsbereit und hat sehr schnell geantwortet. Gerne wieder und sehr empfehlenswert!

I've stayed at Gemma's place for 10 days. Everything was great! The apartment is big, clean, and well-equipped. The location is good. You can walk to many of the main tourist attractions. If you need the metro, there is a metro station just a minute of walk from the apartment. Gemma is a great host! When help was needed, she was always quick to respond.

Super cute and spacious apartment very close to a range of things to do. Everything was very easy and low fuss, and it was clean and nice and warm in the winter! I hope to be back one day. Highly recommend.

Gemma's apartment is great. Located walking distance to downtown or a short walk to the train. Apartment is spacious and very well appointed for a very comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean. Gemma lives upstairs which works really well. We were able to drop our bags early and Gemma was very happy to assist with all our queries, nothing was too much trouble. Really cannot rate this wonderful accommodation highly enough! So close to the metro as well as being right in the central area. Gemma’s directions are spot on. Just like all previous reviews say, Gemma has thought if everything from the goodies welcome basket to the medicine cabinet. I cut my finger while there, but no problem- plasters in the bathroom cabinet!! Great space in a perfect location!! Thanks Gemma!!

Had a great stay at Gemma's place while attending a conference at the big convention center (literally) around the corner. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by Jemma and her two little ones who were "helping" her clean (crawling on the floor is basically sweeping it right? hahaha Very cute!). But on top of the great location and hospitality, which included a basket of snacks and metro card, the place itself is very cozy but also surprisingly spacious and airy with fully-equipped kitchen, Roku TV, comfy bed, Keurig, etc. The private entrance is great too and it's a cool old DC-style row house so feels authentic--so much better than one of the many overpriced carbon-copy DC hotels nearby. All in all could not have asked for a better bargain although I will say, and this kind of goes with the territory with these older houses, there are some funny, creaky noises from the pipes at night. It didn't bother me but if you are a really light sleeper or expect utter silence in bed I wouldn't want you to be caught off guard and then hold that against Gemma :)

David is a fantastic host! He is speedy at communication and the accomodation is really lovely - both the bathroom and the room are modern, clean and simplistic. Having an en-suite bathroom to yourself is a luxury! The only call out I have is that the toilet seat was stained with pink blotches which David said had been caused by some lotion left by the guest who stayed the night before I arrived. David assured me that it had all been disinfected and cleaned. It seemed okay to use. In terms of the space, everything else in the house is blocked off from your stay but it doesn’t matter too much as a resting place after a long day of travelling or sightseeing. You can hear the family from upstairs talking and moving about as well as their dog barking occasionally but it didn’t bother me. This all comes down to the value for money of a private place that’s affordable, I guess. Lastly, in terms of the location, David is transparent that the accomodation is in Congress Heights. From Union Station, it takes about 25 minutes (with one change) via the metro or 50 minutes via the free DC Circulator bus to get to the Congress Heights station. From there it’s about an 8 minute walk to reach the house. As I had an early flight in to DC and the check in time for the Airbnb was late in the afternoon, I found a place to store my luggage at Union Station then went sightseeing before making my way to the accomodation. Walking through the streets at about 9pm made me feel uneasy with some cars revving their engines and slowing as I walked past (probably because I stuck out as a young Asian girl) but know that all the streets are extremely well lit so you don’t need to worry about turning down a dark street. In any case, my advice is to get home before sunset. Overall, I think David’s Airbnb is a comfortable place to stay. Just have your smarts with you if you’re catching public transport and walking the streets in the neighbourhood.

David's place is perfect for a short stay in DC. It's very cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed all three nights I spent there.

Mark's place was perfect for what I needed! It was extremely close to Union Station, an easy walk to the Mall, and it was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is well-lit and it was easy to find the place with Mark's directions. Definitely a great stay!

Place locate near a red line metro station, the air conditioning had issues we did not trust to use it.

This location worked well for me as an individual traveller and heavy sleeper. Meghan was quick and responsive which made our check in seamless. The garden area is cozy, and there is plenty of room. As mentioned in other reviews: due to house construction there is some inevitable noise from upstairs (footsteps early am and late PM); some unreliability in the electrical system;some living room includes a laundry area that is shared (thus subject to occasional visits from neighbors). On the whole, I would return myself, without hesitation -- but would not recommend to my family, who are light sleepers.

Very disappointing. I mean, the host Mark himself is very friendly and responsible in replying quickly. But the living space is not very satisfying. Since it is the basement, the ceiling is not very high, and u can hear people walking above u from time to time. Also, the washing machine can't be used at all, u can find the washing machine is full of dust when u open the door, the dryer machine is full with clothes from guys wholive above u. What's worst, there are countless mosoquitoes flying in ur room, and we couldn't sleep at all on the first night, I guess probably it is summer. So I wear my long pants and hoodies when I sleep on the two nights I stay there. If u have two people and ur blood is not mosoquito's favoriate, u can try this room, otherwise, not recommend.

I stayed for just one night to attend the Ed Sheeran concert. The place was clean and I liked the decor. The only thing was the mosquitoes ...which were everywhere when we first entered. Nonetheless I still enjoyed my stay. He was always just a text message away. I would stay again hopefully no mosquitoes next time.

This place was exactly what we were looking for on our trip. Conveniently located near a Metro stop, quiet, easy access. Definitely recommend for two people who are ok with sharing a bed.

Location is really great. This place is very close to Logan Circle and the 14th St. corridor. Whole Foods is in less than 10 mins walking distance, and you can easily walk to National Mall (25 mins) or to Georgetown (35~40 mins) when the weather is nice. While there, I pretty much walk to everywhere. The place itself is as described, and Mayra was accommodating with my early check-in time. It is unfortunate that there was some uninvited insects issues during my stay, possibly due to the coming of spring season. To her credit, Mayra was prompt in her communication and efforts to address the issue asap. DC is in full blossom, and Mayra's place is well-situated to explore DC in all its glory.

The location could not be better, and there is a delicious pizza place just doors down with tantalizing late-night sandwiches and anything you could need on a rainy night that you don't feel like venturing out of the house!

Mayra was a wonderful host. We didn't get to meet her in person but she kept an open communication with us before and during our trip. Check in/out was very easy and she was very flexible with the time. Her place looks exactly like the pictures! It was very clean and organized. Logan circle is a great location. We walked to the national mall, u-street, dupont circle, and downtown easily during our trip.

Checking in and out were very easy, and Mayra was very responsive and quick to reply. The location was very convenient and just a 15 minute walk or short Uber to everything. The size is perfect for two people (more would be tight).

It’s a good value for the area, but it is a bit dark, being a basement apartment. The bedroom gets morning sun, but the living area never gets any sunlight. Could be depressing for longer stays if you spend a lot of time inside! The neighborhood is wonderful though.

Stayed for a little over two months and had a great time. This is a fantastic base of operations if you have work nearby or even just for exploring and social aspects. Metro is close and if you ever need a bite to eat and don't want to go out, there is a pizza shop two doors down, 10 second walk. Neighbors above have children that create lots of noise at times but that is common and to be expected. Overall, for the price this is a fantastic airbnb, long-term or night to night.

Great place and unbeatable location!

Shane’s place is a true STEAL! Just down the road from the National Mall and within walking distance to several monuments, museums, and restaurants. Everything was so clean and easily accessible in the apartment. Shane shared great tips and ideas for things to do in the city. He even made specific adjustments when my husband and I ran into some unforeseen car issues. A fantastic host and amazing AirBNB!

Das Appartment ist im lower level , also unten. Wenn man in den Vorraum kommt , ist es wunderbar kühl, da die Klimaanlage sehr gut arbeitet, gerade im Sommer bei zum Teil über 30grad ist es eine Wohltat durch die Haustür zugehen. Der Schlafraum ist durch eine Tür abgetrennt, das Wohnzimmer ist gross , mit Küchenzeile , Essecke, Schlafcouch. Ein sehr schönes Bad ist vorhanden mit Super Dusche und Doppelwaschbecken. Es ist wesentlich schöner als auf den Fotos. Es ist ruhig im Haus , trotz Hund und Kindern. Es wird auch angeboten die Wäsche zuwaschen. Die Nachbarschaft ist nett und ruhig. Die Lage ist sehr gut, 5min von Safeway, Aldi und CVS und anderen Geschäften, sowie auch Gaststätten und kleinen Geschäften, Starbucks ist ca.15min zu Fuss. Ein besonderer Luxus ist das Streetcar, das umsonst zu benutzen ist und auf der Hauptstrasse fährt. Jederzeit gerne wieder , das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier auf jeden Fall !

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Darüber hinaus hat die Wohnung einwandfreies Internet, einen Amazon und Netflix Zugang sowie eine riesige DVD Sammlung. Kochen ist bei der Ausstattung kein Problem. Die Lage ist großartig. Sowohl zu Fuß, als auch mit den Öffentlichen ist alles gut zu erreichen. Wer einen Parkausweis braucht erhält diesen auf Nachfrage kostenlos. Ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Concetta’s place looked exactly like it did in the pictures! She has a beautiful home, with tasteful decorations. I enjoyed the space, and most of all the comfy bed. She provided some insight for visitors on some tasty restaurants, and places to visit, as well as how to get around on the public transit. I would definitely recommend to anyone, and would stay again!

I loved, loved, LOVED my stay at Concetta's. The space itself is adorable. The pictures don't do it justice. So very mod and posh but simultaneously homie and cozy. We wished we lived there for real. The bed was so very plush and luxuriantly comfy. Never slept so well. Can't say enough about the location either. We were minutes away from some of the best spots DC has to offer. The artsy and quaint, the robust and genuine local scene. Lots to do within walking distance even. Concetta was also very accommodating, allowing us to check out a little later when we asked. She also checked in on us to make sure all was well. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The noise upstairs was pretty loud, heavy stomping and crying, which is understandable when young children are around. Other than the noise the place was very nice! Very close to DC streetcar.

This is a wonderful place, it makes you feel like you’re right at home. The decor is beautiful, you can tell there was a lot of care put into the place. They provided us with pretty much everything. Movies, games, a beautiful bathroom which they provided with shampoo, shower gel, fresh/clean linen, everything you could pretty much think of they’ve thought about. The host were awesome very nice, attentive, and responds to you in a very timely manner. There was a banging noise in the morning, it is stated that you may here a little noise because they have children and pets but the noise sounded like it was coming from the neighbors home like they were fixing something, which in the morning is more noticeable, but it was only during that time other than that it was very quiet and overall a very comfortable and cozy space.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Souterrain im Haus des Gastgebers. Es gibt einen privaten Eingang und Parkplatz auf der Rückseite des Hauses. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit die Waschmaschiene zu nutzen.

Es war sehr schön! Obwohl wir Carla und Giuseppe nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben, war die Organisation und Kommunikation perfekt und herzlich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und bietet alles, was man für einen Städtetrip so braucht. Reisende mit Kindern werden sich über den Kicker, die Tischtennisplatte und die Spiele freuen! Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig. Mit der U-Bahn und dem Bus (L2) kann man von „Cleveland Park“ die City stressfrei und günstig erreichen. Die Gastgeber stellen Karten zur Verfügung, die man nur noch aufladen muss. Alles in allem gute Voraussetzungen für eine nette Zeit! Dank an Carla, Giuseppe und Lucy!

Carla and Giuseppe are wonderful, thoughtful hosts who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They have a beautiful home that is spacious, bright, and in a wonderful neighborhood close enough to walk to the Cleveland metro and even the National Cathedral. I highly recommend stating with them!

This apartment was perfect for traveling with a toddler. Lots of toys to play with, bathtub, lots of space, quarter mile from playground with splash pad and a mile from grocery store and zoo.

Lil bit far to subway. Neighborhood at night seemed to be not safe enough. But probably I'm wrong! Self check-in was lil bit complicated. All in all, it's OK. Thank you Laura.

Die Lage des Zimmers ist OK, man ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Bus (2 Linien / 1,75 $) oder in 15 mit Lyft/Uber für ca. 5$ im Zentrum. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung.

wir haben super Tianni. es ist alles genauso wie im Internet beschrieben...alles sehr sehr sauber und es ist alles da was wir benötigt haben. die Kommunikation mit Tianni war super. es kam direkt eine Antwort und wir haben uns dort sicher und wilkommen gefühlt. wir würden wieder dort übernachten...

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt gut. Man hat einen separaten Eingang sowie ein separates Bad, daher ist alles sehr unkompliziert. Und wir haben unsere Gastgeberin nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben, mit allen Dingen, die man braucht, sauber und komfortabel. Es gibt nur keinen TV Anschluss. Um zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu gelangen, muss man den Bus nehmen. Wir können das Zimmer auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

Was Besseres hätte uns in Washington nicht passieren können. Tianni ist super nett und hilfsbereit und ihr Apartment entspricht den Beschreibungen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Positiv ist der Hotelzimmercharakter mit einem separaten Eingang, negativ ist die Größe des Zimmers und das zu kleine Bett für zwei Personen (1,20m).

Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und in der Nähe gibt es eine Bushaltestelle. Ein paar Restaurants und kleine Einkaufsläden sind auch problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Das Zimmer ist ca.10 Minuten mit dem Auto außerhalb von Washington! Es liegt im Souterrain eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat, hört man leider jedes Auto! Das Appartement Ansicht ist völlig ausreichend, wenn man nur drin schlafen möchte-für alles andere ist es definitiv zu klein: das Bett füllt quasi 2/3 des Zimmers aus! Aber was tatsächlich ein negativer punkt war-zumindest im Winter- ist, dass das Zimmer KEINE HEIZUNG hat. Es wir lediglich ein elektrischer Heizlüfter zur Verfügung gestellt, der aber definitiv für kalte Nächte zu wenig ist! Aber sonst ist eigentlich alles so, wie es beschrieben ist!

Der Raum war ausgesprochen sauber, ruhig und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Die Check-In-Prozedur hat super geklappt und wir hatten schöne Tage in Washington. Die Raum war mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und einem Badezimmer ausgestattet. Einziges Manko ist das fehlende Mikrowellengeschirr zur bereitgestellten Mikrowelle.

The basement is absolutely great, albeit a *little* hard to find (the actual address can be a little deceptive!). Yana was great, patient and easy to communicate with, even as I was a little worried trying to find the address amidst a massive storm that hit DC as soon as I got out of the train! The place is nice, clean and comfy, close to nice restaurants, shops and the metro. Surely recommend!

Great location and hospitality. The three things to keep in mind is the entrance is the back alley which can be dangerous at night, there is no shower only bathtub, and only one outlet. Overall, cute place and close to everything you would want to do in DC. Our host even let us check in early.

Host was easy to get a hold of and friendly. She answered and replied to all questions and concerns promptly. The best part of this home/apt is the LOCATION. It is located across the street from the metro and the surrounding area is full of bars/clubs/restaurants. It is ideal for anyone wanting to experience DC nightlife. Also, this is a great place to stay if you don't have a car and I would recommend this area for any young persons or professionals who want to experience an authentic side of DC that could otherwise not be experienced staying at a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for any families, especially with small children. I say this only because the area is full of bars/clubs/restaurants, so at night you will frequently hear inebriated people walking by and if you like peace and quiet you will not be pleased.

This is a great place for a quick in-n-out trip to DC. Right off the U Street Corridor it gives you an authentic local "District" flavor. Although close to a lively scene Yana's apartment is very quiet and secluded. A good value for a weekend stay.

Tolle Unterkunft für einen Washington-Trip

Die Wohnung ist perfekt und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Das Bett ist bequem, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die nächste U Bahn Station ist gleich ums Eck, in ein paar Minuten ist man damit Im Zentrum. Es gibt einige Lokale in der unmittelbaren Umgebung der Unterkunft. Wir habwn uns immer sicher gefühlt, es ist eine nette Wohngegend. Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt und diese Adresse können wir bedingungslos weiter empfehlen! Danke Kerry - Ann !
