“Large Botanic Gardens with a wide variety of plants and trees. Lots of trails / walks for you and at the top the views are spectacular. At the Lady Norwood rose gardens there is a café to have a meal or just a coffee. From the top you can catch the Cable car down to the city and either walk back to 100 Hobson or catch the number 14 buss or an Uber. ”

“Wellington zoo has achieved a good balance of needs of the animals in their care with those of the viewing public. Some good enclosures - you wont see any elephants - the animals you do see are well looked after. A bit of a walk as some steep bits. A flat 10 minute walk from the cottage to get there.”

“This full supermarket is often referred to as New World Chaffers Street, even though its official address is Wakefield Street! New World Chaffers Street is about 9-10 minutes walk from City Bach. This modern, vibrant supermarket has anything you could wish for whether to feed a family, entertain, go on a picnic, or just simply self-catering if you're visiting Wellington. The delicatessen section is a winner. The food always looks to delicious. They usually give samples to try before you buy.”
