“Walk the path and find a stairway and meet the ocean. Stare at seagulls while they stare back. Walk along old sun-bleached driftwood and throw rocks into the surf. Now you are one of us. ”

“Head to the Royal BC Museum grounds and explore the many totem poles at Thunderbird Park. Mostly carved by Gitxsan, Haida and Kwakwaka’wakw artists, these striking artefacts are deeply associated with native culture of the region. Of all thing things to do in Victoria, this is one of the most memorable—and quintessential.”

“We love this park! There is an amazing petting zoo that is open throughout the spring and summer months, as well as several large ponds where you can watch the ducks while sipping on coffee. There is a great park for children as well as a beautiful rose garden. ”

“Excellent place to go and walk for all activity levels. I love to walk the beaches and climb the rocks but there are also paved walking paths to go for a short or long walk. Tons of dogs to visit here as it's a local favourite for doggos. Beautiful views of the olympic mountains, and adjacent to Beacon Hill Park.”
