The restaurant made famous from the Beachcomber's series but the food is mediocre. Take your photo and go down the stairs to Smitty's Oyster House or down the pier to Smoke on the Water (or even Gramma's Pub).

Probably our favourite restaurant in Gibsons. Sit on the family-style table on the deck and you'll end up in an interesting conversation with someone.

A drive up to Skookumchuck makes for a great day trip. There is some easy hiking and then you can watch the kayaks play in the rapids. Time your visit with the tidal change!
