Its rare rare rare....exquisite! Mother Nature created only 4 in the world. The Green Sand is Olivine the grade of semi precious stone before its made into the jewelers stone called Peridot. How wonderful to stand on sand that is rare & precious!

The entire southern tip is registered as a National Historic Landmark, as it’s scattered with the ruins of heiau (temples) fishing shrines and other cultural relics. A trip here is an opportunity to experience the elements — land, air and ocean — because that’s what South Point is all about: nature’s raw and powerful beauty. Ka Lae is an excellent fishing spot, there is a cliff people dive off of and a blow hole. Its one of our favorite places to watch sunset and due no light pollution to watch the stars move over us in the heavens.

Ka'u Coffee Mill (Great for sampling all kinds of coffee!) Silver Cloud Coffee, etc. The further you drive up Wood Valley Road the more tranquil it is tucked into the mountains! PEACE FULL!!!
